1 starThey do not abide by there contract...they say they offer roadside assistance and tire changes but they don't...they said that I was out of network...then called to cancel because I have found better service they say we can cut your **** down...we can also put your policy on hold...I just want to cancel well okay ma'am but if u change your mind please reconsider us...u can be sur nothing else will be taken out of your account...the next thing I know they take my funds then say we will send u out a check that ain't gonna put my account back the positive...now I gotta pay $140 for the mess up stupid dogsReview fromLeonard L.

I have made this claim close to about a month ago. Ive been paying out of pocket for a rental car without even knowing if my claim will be a approved. The repair facility has always contact the adjuster any time I want an update. Im not saying that this business is terrible, but Ive been told the same thing every time Ive tried to get an update and it seems like a lie. I just want to know whether its going to get approved or not.CarShield

1 starDisgusting business. Two break downs that were not honored. Paid $100 a month for 2+ years, then checked to see if another was covered. Nope. Then trying to cancel them is not easy. I even stopped and changed a *********** card after they would not stop, and *********** let them charge the new card!!!!!!!! Are you **** kidding me?! I will never do this again. I fires car shield and now I will fire *********** a my credit card because they do not hold my security above retailers.Review fromNelson V

When i ask the customer ********************** representative at CarShield to cancel my coverage, he repeated multiple times about hardship coverage I didnt want. I had to yell and scream at this representative while he ignored my request and kept repeating the same thing over and over again for 15 minutes. After I had a few choice words with this gentleman, he finally cancel my coverage. I will not recommend CarShield to anyone due to customer ********************** representative tried to sell you another coverage when you want to cancel it. PLEASE DONT USE CARSHIELD FOR EXTENDED WARRENTY COVERAGECarShield

CarShield is a Scam, I was driving home from ******* to ***********, stopped gas, got 97.00$ premium fuel, less than 2miles after back on the road, my 2016 E350 shutdown, called CarShield Roadside assistance they sent a tow truck out that did not accept credit cards 250$ cash out of the pocket, took it to the nearest Dealership who diagnoses was contaminated fuel, and dead battery, CarShield (American Shield) denied my claim and left me stranded 7hrs away from home, and they still have the nerve to call me about a monthly payment ??Waste of money CarShield is first hand information!CarShield

Car shield is a freaking joke. I had it before my truck broke down and a few months of having it my motor blew up. They don't put a motor in my truck I had to. So my thousands of dollars I paid to have coverage was all for nothing. And I advise anyone one thinking about it doesn't do it. They won't use new parts they use salvage parts that are junk. I'm trying to find a lawyer to take my case.CarShield

Very well. The car got fixed and seems to be working good. They did the job. the repairs were needed and it worked like it should. Everything is good as far as I can tell so far.CarShield

If I could give Carshield a zero star review I would. They are absolutely awful. We've had a claim tied up with them for months. They keep giving us the runaround, every single time we touch base with them they are telling us something completely different. They are literally trying everything they can think of to weasel out of the claim. We will be canceling our service and filing a formal complaint.CarShield

Totally wasted my money. After over a year. I finally took it to the shop for a coolant leak and the power window stopped working. They told me they would not cover a hose for the coolant leak or a cable for the windows.CarShield
