    Carshield is definitely not what or who they say they are!! I paid for their warranty almost, 3 years and I filed a claim for a repair that cost me $429. They only wanted to pay $212 which only covered the shop fee. They collected more than $2500 from me but refused to pay for my repair. Not what they advertised at all.

    I wish there was a zero star option. This company is a complete scam! Please save your money and do not buy coverage from CarShield. I recently purchased coverage and you can see my story below.I had 3 separate mechanics review this car thoroughly before putting the Carshield warranty in place. I expected this company to deliver on its promise of "driving with peace of mind." When I took my car for review to pass the PA state inspection, I expected everything to be in perfect working order based upon all the repair work I had done to the car. The car safely and smoothly drove from FL to PA without problem. However, when the mechanic found the issue with the oxygen sensor and the control arms, I fully expected to be in the clear knowing I had "peace of mind" and coverage by this warranty company. I was very surprised when I found out they would only cover part of the oxygen sensor and nothing on the control arms. It is my contention they spent days finding ways to deny or minimize my claim by interpreting the fine print. In discussion with my mechanic, the part and the labor for the oxygen sensor totaled $339. This was supported by the **** for the part and the labor required by All ***** This is a downstream sensor and required additional labor. The total repair was close to $2300 and Carshield offered a very low ball coverage of $159 which does not even cover the **** of the oxygen sensor itself. I strongly advise you NOT to purchase coverage from this company.

    I got this warranty right after my original warranty expired on my vehicle. I was coming home from work when my vehicle lost power and engine light came on and started blinking. I had to keep driving to get to a safe to pull over so no accidents were caused. The lady behind was on the phone with 911 because blue smoke started pouring out the tail pipe and engine. The car did not indicate over heating the line stayed where it should have been. They denied my claim because of carbon build up do to over heating when I talked to the garage that has my vehicle and other garages that no longer take Cardhield repairs because they rip off their customers. They even said that carbon does build up over time and that the fact when the garage that has my vehicle has my car turned on it does not indicate overheating. And that there is no way they seen carbon build up when the parts that indicate that were not visible. There was internal failure that caused oil to leak. They refuse to refund any money that I put into this warranty.

    Fantastic. I have been very happy with carshield and the mechanic themselves. Best thing I've ever come across as afar as getting repairs done for my car. I've been telling a lot of people about you guys.

    Customer ******************************/******************** We have cancelled our contract with them. Not only did our first claim experience go horribly wrong because they do not follow accurate labor time guides and their communication is unprofessional but they also decided that they do not support small businesses like ***** ********** ****** ******* because we offer mobile services. We have been contracted with them for nearly a year and the first experience we had with them left a bad taste. Our customer is now left with finding another ********************** shop and not getting the repair fully covered because the warranty they bought isn't what they thought it was! We're talking about a 8 hour labor time difference! Our business may be primarily mobile but our location is a residential/commercial location, as well as we are registered with the state, have an EIN, insurance and etc. M.A.R.S is just as capable and legitimate as any "shop". Just because we do not currently work out of a physical building, does not make our service ability less than. We are warning our customers, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY. It is not worth the money because they do not stand by what they sell and you will still be left with the **** and they have your money! We will find other companies to work with that support small businesses and follow appropriate labor time guidelines! #carshield #****************** #extendedwarranty

    Needed a new engine, but all I was getting was the run around. I was not getting the service I paid for. Since becoming a car shield customer, I have yet to see my contract. My car is being service now and it's going to cost over $3500 dollar to repair my engine, which I thought car shield would cover. I've been without my car for over 3 months. Come to find out I have to pay my deductible plus tear down fee, and I had to read this on the website. On top of that I had to find a place to do the tear down of my engine and let me tell you I could not find a place to do it and some of the places don't take car shield. I do not requirement Car Shield to anyone. Car shield need refund me every dollar I paid to them that would help me to pay for my engine. I also have homeowner warranty with them also and I cannot seem to be able to reach them.

    Buyer beware. I have had a policy for approximately 2 years with two major repairs. The first was a $2000 repair that was not covered at all. The second was a very major repair ($5000) that included listed parts that are covered. In order to get covered, Carshield required the service center to remove parts of the engine so they could inspect and determine if they would be covered. This would cost $970 to just open the engine up. This is after the *** performed a diagnostic I paid $160 for indicating the cause of the failure. After many conversations with Carshield and weeks going by, I called a service center Carshield recommended to see if I could get a better price. The recommended service center and the *** were consistent in saying that Carshield is the worst warranty company to deal with and they prefer not to do business with Carshield. I ended up trading in the car because I had no confidence that Carshield would cover the repair. In my conversations with Carshield, they said that if a covered part failed because of an issue with a non-covered part, the repair would not be covered. Seemed to me that Carshield was asking me to spend a bunch of money so they could find a reason not to cover the repair.In the end, I removed the car from my policy before the monthly renewal but noticed that I was charged the monthly fee anyway two days ago. I called up Carshield and asked for the policy to be cancelled and the monthly charge to be refunded. Carshield would would not refund the money even though there was no vehicle being covered on the policy at the time. Dont waste your money.
