You have to wait a *************** before it starts but you pay. They refused to give refund

All CarShield contracts come with a 30 day review period giving our customer ample time to review the contract terms and conditions and cancel with a full refund if the choose. The waiting period information is found on page 12 of your contract. As a courtesy we will refund your last payment. We are sorry to lose you as a CarShield customer. I recently purchased an extended warranty on my truck through ******************** also known as Car Shield. After having to file a claim, they refused to honor the contract even though it was clearly stated that the parts were covered in the contract. They wanted to tear apart the truck to inspect the broken part at MY expense with no guarantee that they would cover the repair. On multiple occasions, they were rude on the phone and even hung up on when trying to resolve the issue. I immediately cancelled my policy and let them know I would be writing reviews about their company. I would highly recommend NOT using this company!CarShield

Carshield is awful! Car has been sitting at a shop for 3 weeks and still no adjuster has looked at starting my claim. Completely over it, Carshield misrepresented themselves!CarShield

Car Shield robbed me blind!!! They debited my account for an entire year for a car that was totaled.When brought to my attention and I reached out to them they told me to provide proof that it was totaled and I did.Then they said the almost $1000 they owe me wasnt going to be refunded because they repaired my car two years prior and they were deducting the repair **** from my refund.Why would I have a warranty that I would ultimately end up paying for when it was covered under warranty? And why would you tell me youre refunding my money when you had no intentions of doing so.After reading reviews and complaints about this scam artist company,I learn Im not the only one who has gotten taken advantage of and Im sure I wont be the last! These people should be put out of business!!! and they denied sending me a copy of the invoice of the repair or any proof that they paid for a repair,and said theyre not allowed to disclose that information.This company apparently hire ex cons and gangsters because honest people wouldnt support their cause.They should be under federal investigation and Ive started the process with the ************************ and Ill never give up trying to get my money back.******,thieves and liars!!!! Times are too hard right now to have people rip you off and not do something about it.If I have to drive to St ****** or Ofallen I will get my money back.Scam artists is who CAR SHIELD is and should not be allowed to continue stealing and robbing honest people out their money.This is crazy,and at 60 years old,I will spend the rest of my life to expose these people on a daily bases.16 years of being in the business of robbing people is impressive I might add.But at some point all good things come to an end.And right now Car Shield has a good thing.Taking money and providing no service.My plan is to post reviews and blow your website up EVERY SINGLE DAY OF WHATEVER LIFE I HAVE LEFT!!!! ******CarShield

Car shield did not fix my aircondtioner.I discontinued service.They told me dates did not match right.They will take your money but file a claim and they make excuses to get out of it.CarShield

Car Shield Review Terrible! Will never recommend Car Shield not even to my enemy! The problem we have with Car Shield doesn't cover hose/or supplies lines to different parts of the car including in our case is the Turbo in our 2012 Buick. Doesn't cover damage to Turbo because of supply line went bad. Car Shield people called it "component part" In other words your engine/transmission/turbo will NOT be cover if a "component part" in your car breaks. So, what good is you protection since you are NOT covering a major part in our the Turbo cost more than $4,000. Is like If a human suffers a heart attack the vein is damage, and you cannot repair the heart because the vein is damage? When something breaks in car is because something went back in the car. The damage in our case a "oil supply line" Car Shield will only cover $84.00. We will have to pay $4,000.00 out of our packet. ***** ADVERTICING!! Angeles C ********CarShield

This company is a scam please do not get any coverage from them, our wheel axle broke we were told because we ran over a pot whole that couldnt be prevented it was our fault so we had to end up getting our car fixed on our **** CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IS NEEDED THEY ARE PATHETICCarShield

This company is a scam out wheel axle broke and we were told that it was our fought and we are responsible we had been with them for two years and never used them, also I know other people that had them and dropped them due to not wanting to fix their carsthen they got the nerves to have ********* and ******************* to sponsor them.PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IS NEEDEDCarShield

It took 28 to get my transmission fixed. Phone reps are rude & you cant speak directly to ur adjuster. But, if ur patient & kind they will fix your vehicle. My transmission rebuild was $5600 my deductable was $250. My trucks fixed. Thank you car shieldCarShield

I purchased Car Shield insurance back in January 2022 for my Saturn Ion to protect against expensive car repairs. I ended up having my car towed to a transmission repair shop on April 6, 2022. The repair shop said I needed a new transmission. I gave the shop my CarShield account number to get approval for ***********************. It took another two weeks before CarShield said they would send out an adjuster to look at the car before I can receive approval for the repairs. After two weeks the adjuster came out to the transmission shop to look over the car. The CarShield adjuster wanted the mechanic to ride with the adjuster with a laptop hooked up to the ***** diagnostic plug in the car to see what the problem was. It took another two weeks and several calls to CarShield before CarShield got back to the shop. They wanted the shop to tare open the transmission to find out why the transmission failed and to keep it up on the lift until the adjuster could come back to look at the inside of the transmission. The CarShield adjuster wanted me to email him all past repair receipts for my car including tire rotations and oil changes before the repair can get approved for transmission replacment. He also told me he wanted the repair shop to figure out why the transmission had failed before any repairs will be approved CarShield told me that they carry auto parts, and they would send the repair shop a used transmission with ****** miles for the shop to install. It took another week CarShield couldnt find a used transmission for my car and said they will send the shop a refurbished transmission instead of the used one, but it will take about 20-days to ship to the shop. CarShield wanted me to pay for a loaner car and they would reimburse me for the cost up to 14 days. The transmission final arrived the first week of June 2022 and the car was finished. The transmission shop said they will never again except CarShiled for repairs. . I feel CarShield is a scam and in my book has a poor rating.CarShield
