What a Rip Off My Car Shield claim began 6-2-22. On 6-29-22 it still had not been approved or unapproved.just delay after delay from the claims adjuster and the inspector meanwhile being without my ***** 2017 Silverado. My husband keeps the truck serviced meticulously through WK Chevrolet.all of these records were provided. We gave our statements over 4 times. We had to have it towed 40 miles one way to get a freeze frame. All the repair shops in our *********** to work with Car Shield. We finally gave up and paid for the repair ourselves since the free car rental they say they provide is AFTER the claim gets approved and a month without a vehicle and my husband working 3 hours away was horrible.With all of these bad reviews from other customers who are being forced to wait and being given the run around for weeks, I should think ******** ********************** would shut this business down today!I want to close my Car Shield account and I also want all of my insurance premiums refunded.CarShield

NO STARS BUT NOT OPTION!!!! LOOK AWAY THIS CARSHIELD IS A RIP OFF AND CLAIM TO COVER A LIST OF THINGS BUT WHEN YOU TRY AND MAKE CLAIM THEY DO NOT COVER ANYTHING EVEN THOUGH ITS IN OUR POLICY DOCUMENTS WE HAD TO DOWNLOAD. Car Shield only reimburse 4 days of towing when your car is being service not before while you are waiting for the diagnosis, along with them accepting the claims which is dragged out for a month or more. I cant use my car or claims denied stating made problem worse. What am I supposed to do sit at home and not work while Im waiting for them to except the claims. They also inform you that the adjuster supposed to come out to check the car, they dont come out, they phone the mechanic. They only reimburse up to four days even if it takes more than four days for the mechanic to fix it. My car is still at the shop and if I get it out the claims dropped. Therefore Im stuck, I need my car but I cant get my car and I have to wait why they drag with the decision for the claims. I paid for the diamond level in a being *******. There are things that are not advertised correctly.CarShield

I had Car Shield for 2 years NEVER cover ANYTHING on my vehicle and I was paying them ****** a month and Im requesting back ALL my money they only gave me back one month. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!CarShield

Carshield is nothing but a Scam, first of all I was suppose to have gotten the best,most expensive plan available ( i got the diamond package), first my air would only come on unless it was on high also, needless to say my audio system went out days later (when it rains it pours), they told me the package i had covered everything including electrical, after I had followed all of their requirements Carshield had the audacity to tell me after I pay my $100.00 dollar deductible of a $5600.00, not to mention i had to pay for my own rental car ( thats another lie Carshield told), repair that they would send my dealership a $89.00 check ( i was like What the Heck!!!), Carshield told a reputable Toyota Dealership to use substandard (Used), parts on my truck what Carshield also fail the tell people is that Carshield are just underwriters, I found out they work with three other insurance companies, I was under ******** **** ****** and let me warn consumers or by far the Worst, they probably pay all of ****** ****** * *** repairs for getting on TV and lying to millions of people every day, but for a already struggling person (who already borrowing from Peter to pay Paul) like me, if it was my motor that had went out I would have been walking, PLEASE TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW TO POST THIS ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA SITES SO, THEY WON'T GET SCAMMED BY CARSHIELD. Car shield was great at first until we found out they have a lot of repairs and parts they do not cover that will leave you stuck with the bill. It cost us $55 to cancel our warranty. Your car need 4 hours of warranty cover repair time before qualifying for a rental car. Most connected parts to your engine, transmission and other major parts they do not cover that's where car shield got us. Example, my car was stuck in reverse parts and labor time 6 hours. Car shield rejected certain parts they do not cover and labor time connected to our repairs. Labor time was dropped to 3.9, disqualified for a rental car and left with the big bill. We learned about them through experience because car shield do not show a clear list of everything their warranty will not cover. So, stay alert, ask for their warranty list of everything they do not cover before signing up you maybe surprise or rejected of this information because these things are not included in what they have advertised.CarShield

1 starThis WHOLE Concept is fishy! I should have known better than to trust a company like this. I have been paying my monthly faithfully on my '03 Cadillac Deville, & spent good money to maintain it. I also wanted peace of mind knowing that I can also have a security blanket in a Extended-Warranty Service like CarShield. My car Finally broke down after a little over 3 years of payments, and I thought, "At least I have CarShield!" Boy was I in for a treat. Not only did they eventually deny my claim of a $5,000 Transmission repair, I paid for towing & 9 days worth of a rental car. I was denied because my Transmission broke down incorrectly... I was going to give this vehicle to my mother to drive after it got fixed, because of her own car issues. Thanks CarShield! *SPOILER ALERT* They will look for ANY possible way not to help their faithful/paying customers, and for that reason I regret my decision of the Legal-Robbery CarShield engages in. On June 30, 2022 while out of town, my 2015 Ram **** lost power. I located the Dodge Dealer in this town. They advised me they no longer accept Carshield submissions. The service advisor explained this was based on very poor customer **********************. I located an auto repair shop in town who also stated they no longer accept Carshield. I went ahead and payed for the repairs myself. After returning home with receipts, I contacted Carshield who was very quick to reject any of my claim. Their main reason was my not contacting them for approval. On a previous incident, it took almost a month for approval and over 90 phone calls from the Dodge service advisor and myself to get approval. I am cancelling my policy.CarShield
