Booted a car with a visitors parking pass. Sign that states “don’t park beyond the tree was waste level below a tree covered by cars (not visible whilst driving down the road nor walking away from the car.)
Note: They booted others who had a visitors pass as well and who did not pass the treeBusiness Response

The lms parking for novel is predatory and they are mean they are collecting money from everyone that stay here. I explained the office was closed when I got home to check my mailbox for the parking pass however the name on the sticker wasn't my name so instead of taking the sticker off I left it on the white paper and sat it on the console. I explained I had leave here two months I just switched he'd buildings from 1 to 5 and there was no remorse. He basically told me to get off his line and that he couldn't talk to me. The office was closed when I got home from work and checked the mail box so I couldn't call anyone else and it's the wrong person name do I didn't open it just left it on the sticker and they still charged me and I had no other option my baby had to go to the hospital but my car has been register and parked over her for months nowBusiness Response

I parked at an apartment complex, visiting friends for 4 hours, on 10/4 and parked in a spot labeled “visitors”. I filled out the registration and got 2 letters mixed up in the license plate. I told the “agent” I was dyslexic, and have a doctors note to back it up, and she said sorry still have to charge $160! For a mistake with a medical diagnosis? Isn’t that illegal? This place is such a scam and will do whatever to get your money even for a simple mistake. Absolutely disgusting and sad considering the times we are in.Business Response

Hello,
When registering a vehicle it is extremely important that the vehicle's unique and specific license plate is entered correctly. The registration form requires all applicants to enter their vehicle license plate number in twice to aid in not making mistakes. In addition there is a large warning text that states if the vehicle license plate is typed incorrectly the vehicle will be at risk of being wheel locked at the vehicle owner's expense. Unfortunately typing in the vehicle information wrong, twice, will result in the vehicle being registered incorrectly and at risk of being wheel locked or towed.

I am rejecting this response because:
I said I am dyslexic. I legit mixed up the 2 and 4 in my license plate. It was an honest mistake, yet the company won’t budge and thinks unlocking a wheel is worth $160. I’d understand if I was taking advantage of the parking, but I wasn’t. It doesn’t take a genius to see the license plate and see that I mixed it up. You had the zone I was in, the color, make and model, the name of the tenant, and yet I had to have my license perfect? It’s predatory and you guys should be ashamed of what you all do.Initial Complaint

I was charged $100 cash or $120 credit for parking in my apartment complex. I had been having car troubles with the car that was registered with LMS so I brought it into the shop and my mother lent me her car for the timebeing . I thought the issue would resolve quickly, so I simply registered this vehicle for visiting hours. When it expired, I was unable to renew the parking until the next day. As soon as I woke up the next morning I registered the behicle and got a confirmation email saying that my vehicle was okay to be parked in the lot until October 5th (it is currently October 2nd). They booted my car at 2am and when I went to go to work at 9 am I was unable to leave. They gave no leniency for my car issues or the fact that I pay rent to park and live there. The signs around the premises were not clear and many were broken.Business Response

We call back and the manager is never there (Nick) and when he is he keeps having us email the same into to him and not doing anything with it.Business Response

I am a resident of ****** ***** and I parked in the visitor lot as the resident parking is often full. At 8:44 am (9/24/23) I went out to my car and found it with a boot [see Figures F, G, H, and I in the attached document]. I promptly called to have it removed and I learned that it was placed as a violation of the way I parked which supposedly blocked EMS vehicles (I have seen people maneuver around my car just fine prior to this incident), however, there were multiple cars parked in similar if not worse ways than I was that did not receive a boot on their car [see Figures A, C, and D in the attached document] and if an EMS vehicle were to be called to ****** ***** they would likely drive through the resident lot which is concrete. If this were a matter of safety and leaving room for EMS vehicles, a booted car would only exacerbate the situation by having an immovable object. Furthermore, the gravel lot does not have any lines or defined spaces to delineate between the roadway and parking spots nor are there any signs suggesting how to park [see Figure B in the attached document]. The boot was not removed from the car until 10:00 a.m. I was planning on driving to meet my parents in ********* for breakfast before their flight, but thanks to LMS, I guess a phone call will have to do. Additionally, I repeatedly called the provided number on the page and the call was only answered twice out of ten times (reminder, I was trying to meet people at a certain time). From talking with other residents of ****** ***** who have said that they have also received boots on their cars as residents parking in the provided lot, LMS has a reputation for predatory practices that result in a waste of residents' time as well as employees' time in order to make $200 a boot removal.Business Response

Hello,
LMS Parking is a contracted enforcement company tasked with enforcing parking policies put in place by the community's management team. All vehicles would be required to park fully within a parking space to be sure the right of way and flow of traffic is not blocked. If all agents are busy assisting other callers, a detailed voicemail will result in a call back. For further questions regarding this vehicle's violation please feel free to contact your local LMS Parking office. No further action or reimbursement will be made.

On Friday 15th 2023 I found a boot on my car from this company. I had registered with the main office but never received my parking permit . Upon reading the detail of the paper given to me at the front desk it states that we will be sent notification when our permits are ready to pick up for use in our vehicles. Mine was never sent and I was given a boot because the never sent me the email or text . I paid 100 and feel they used entrapment to secure money for their business. If they did as they were supposed to I would have picked up my permit which I happily applied for months before this situation . Not to mention I met they guy wearing a bullet proof vest kinda weird for a 100 transaction. When they booted my girlfriends rental I saw nothing of the sort guess our voice are two different extremes s and they feel the need to scare me into payment .Business Response

Hello,
Properly registered vehicles parked within the community's parking policies would not be wheel locked. For more information on your exact situation please feel free to contact your local LMS Parking office. We do understand that parking enforcement is not looked at favorably by those who violate established parking policies. Due to this, regretfully, agents are advised to take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety.

I received a parking pass back in July with no notification or anything on the website stated there was any kind of limit. I know for a fact I did not request 2 months of time but for some odd reason that’s what they gave me. Now my car has two boots on it and I don’t understand why. None of my bfs neighbors or my bf knew about a visitor limit. The email they sent out when they renewed their parking pass did not state anything about a 3 day limit and it’s not even in his lease. I’ve never spoken to someone who was so disrespectful and rude. They completely did not give an ounce of care to my situation. They simply stated they weren’t going to argue with me and asked me if I was gonna pay or not. My question is if there’s a limit to how many days someone can stay here as a visitor then why allow us to add more than the requirement. My bf moved here earlier this year and I’ve never had this issue till now. I’ve went all of august and the end of July without an issue now I randomly get booted. I don’t think this is my fault I feel like this is an error on their part because I know for a fact I did not request 2 months I don’t even know how many total hours that is!Business Response

Hello,
LMS Parking manages and enforces the parking rules put in place by the community's management. This community limits how often a visitor may park in guest parking. The registration form, that all visitors are required to fill out explicitly states, "All visitors must register to park for the full duration of their stay within the community. No visitor may park in any visitor space for more than 3 days in a row or for more than 72 consecutive hours. Any vehicle found in violation would be wheel locked at the vehicle owner's expense." Since this vehicle was registered to park longer than three days it was parked in violation of this community's rules. Once the form is submitted you have agreed to and acknowledged the community's parking policies. No reimbursement will be issued.

I am rejecting this response because:
When I signed up for my parking pass in July there was nothing on the website that said anything about a limit. I’ve been going to east village to see my bf all year (since he moved in) and never had a limit. I saw his lease nothing in his lease says anything about any limit. Any notification he got about visitor parking said nothing about a limit. This must have been a recent update because I did this back in July and haven’t had an issue till now. I am not the only person with this issue which makes me think this company is a scam and just wants peoples money which is probably why there’s a 1.3 star review on google. I’ve gotten multiple people to report this business because they are doing bad business and have the rudest employees. I was under the impression that I was good till sept 25 when I signed up on July 25. I did not even request two months worth of time because I don’t even know how much time that even is. It’s sounding like a system error. If you didn’t want me to stay that long why allow it on your website. It’s misleading and bad business practice. Hopefully me and the other people reporting this company will actually do something because they didn’t. They didn’t even want to hear me out they just kept talking over me. Horrible customer service. And then they send me an email the day I got the boot reminding me of my time which said the exact same thing!!Business Response

Hello,
Thank you for confirming the amount of time the vehicle was registered. Unfortunately, this community does limit the amount of time visitors may utilize visitor parking spaces. LMS Parking only enforces the parking rules. It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to adhere to the community's parking policies.

I DID NOT REQUEST TWO MONTHS OF TIME!! I don’t know how many times I have to say it. I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW MANY HOURS THAT IS TO REQUEST! I thought the email was weird because I DID NOT PUT THAT MUCH TIME. but since it was from YOUR COMPANY I didn’t think anything of it because I haven’t had an issue till now. YOUR SYSTEM SENT ME THAT EMAIL I DID NOT REQUEST THAT AMPUNT OF DAYS AND YOUR EMPLOYEES WERE NOT TRYONG TK HEAR ANYTHING I WAS TRUING TO EXPLAIN BECAUSE AT THIS POINT IT DOSEN’T SEEM LIKE ANY OF YOU ALL CARE. we need better parking services in ********* and it should not be from lms if all they’re gonna do is scam people. I have multiple people reporting this company so hopefully someone will do something about the company because the company won’t do anything or hear anything from anyone. On 9/8/2023, a boot was illegealy placed on my car at *** ***** ********* ** ***** in section #200 of the visitor parking. A boot was placed on my car due to having an "expired registration". My car registration is NOT expired. It has been paid for and was in effect at the time of the boot being placed on my car. I had not yet had a chance to place the new sticker onto my car. I would like a refund due to the fact that my car was NOT in violation of any laws at the time of the incident.Business Response

I am a resident of ***** **** ******. I bought a car from family member, my parents brought it to me. There was no visitor parking avail soI had them park in closest spot to a visitor spot to stay out of "prime parking" until I register car. I went upstairs to register it with parking COMPANY, but within 30 min they had already put a boot on it. I was not given time to register my new vehicle and all the visitor parking was taken so I had no where to park it in the mean time. Do not feel like this should be legal. I live here. Cars mine and I didn't have time to even tell them. Took pictures of visitor spots being full. No where to park this car while I went in to register. I was literally trying to find my email from apartments to remember how to log in to LMS sight to register car. I was trying to follow rules and wasn't even given a chance to.Business Response

Hello,
All vehicles parked within the community are required to be registered for a parking permit prior to parking within the resident parking areas. Visitor spaces can be found throughout the community. If all visitor spaces are full then alternative parking arrangements offsite should be made as visitor parking is first come first served.
