      I received a call from this company Aquarian asset management threatening to garnish my salary if I dont pay ******* for a debt I dont even have. Also I contacted the company they are claiming I had the account with and I was told by the company that I never had an acct with them. Please help me to solve this issue

      i am getting harrassing phone calls about a false debt from aquarion non stop phone calls they fail to provide details of a debt from express commenity bank they claim was sent to collections in 2016. i closed by consumer request an express credit card in 8-8-2016 with a Zero balance. verification of that is attached along with a letter not showing dates transactions or account numbers from *************************** is all an error and I will file a police report for harassment.Please clear this for me with them they are rude and hang up on me when i ask for an email or fax # to send proof I dont have a collection or debt. I have called express commenity bank and they also verified nothing has been sent to collections and i have nothing past due Thank ypu.

      I have sent verification documents like the one attached to this bbb complaint to aquarion multiple times for months


      I have called them with this informationa swell


      please provide them the document attached to this complaint showing my account with commenity bank- express card has been closed by consumer with a ZERO balance so they can stop harassing me. I will file a police report for harassment and refusal to update my records with them.


      They hang up when I call and refuse to close the account that is incorrect as I have no balance. Please help thanks.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have multiple times requested proper  detailed verificaiton of this debt including an account # for account in debt, including transactions with dates and totals.

      Michigan Law ******* states Verification of the debt or any disputed portion of the debt shall include the number and amount of previously made payments and the name and address of the orginal creditor, if different from the current creditor, or a copy of the judgment against the debtor.

      I have requested this and been denied this multiple times.

      What I sent is fom my credit report and is accurate.

       

      When contacting commenity bank-express at ************** they are not able to provide me anything but can verify that I have no account showing in collection or outstand using my social security #

      I need contact informaion for what Aquarion claims was sent to their office for me as a debt. Who sent it? What did they send?

       

      Send me a copy of what you claim was sent in to your office from commenity.

      Commenity bank -express denies sending anything to Aquarion, so cna Aquarion proove something was sent it by poviding that to m and/or the BBB?

       

      Where is your proof? Because this is legitmately not a true debt and only harrassment.

      As you stated prior, that account was paid off in 2016, however the credit report shows contradiction. The credit report also doesn't show any validates of whether it is a current picture or a past picture. Debt validation has already been sent. If you would like to speak on the account and get it noted correctly as paid off, we would need the confirmation from the original creditor. They should be able to provide that documentation to you if the account was paid off. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need any further assistance to get this issue resolved.

      Aquarion Asset Management contacted me regarding a debt owed to Household Renaissance. I explained I never had a debt with them and have paid all debts I owed. They threatened garnishment and ***** against me. I asked for clarification of when this debt was established and *************************** was rude and eventually hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager and kept being transferred to her. She was trying to get me to acknowledge my debt or waive my rights to the settlement. She said this account went through collections and I failed to respond to letters sent by previous lawyers. I've lived in my home 14 years, never had an account through Household Renaissance and just wanted to understand the root of this alleged debt. I want them never to contact me again as this claim is clearly fraudulent and well passed the statue of limitations for collections.

      I keep getting harassing calls from Aquarian Asset Management from several phone numbers. They leave harassing voicemails stating they will take matters to court for a Chase account over 15 years old. I have asked them to stop calling several times.

      This company is continuing to call me regarding a debt of over $2600 they claim I owe for some sort of payday loan business as the rep said, although when asked he couldn't give me the exact name of said business this originated; although he listed off companies that he thought it could be, which was red flag number 1. He also couldn't tell me the original amount or original date of this supposed debt?? He then tried to verify my address attached to said debt to which was an address I moved from over 12 years ago in 2012. The only thing, as I told him, it could be is a payday loan my late husband had out at the time of his death in April of 2011, which was to be paid by the US Bank account that was our joint account, once again I closed that account over a decade ago. *********, which wasn't on his list was whom my husband ******** called them to pay on his behalf immediately following his passing in 2011 letting them know he couldn't pay himself which they said since he passed that my paying for him was not necessary and they don't collect on the deceased. The collections rep claimed it had went through 3 collections companies before them and now they are trying to collect for a private client - yet another red flag! What I know is that I myself personally have not taken out a payday loan and I pay my bills/debts to protect my credit!! I said this to the rep and he continued to repeat threatening things like "you can go to court to contest" and he liked dropping words like litigation. These are scare tactics that actually almost worked on me, I nearly gave them money after he said he worked to give me an option to pay a percentage after telling the higher *** that my husband died and it was likely his debt?! Oh my, this is all not right nor okay - not to mention after researching that since I'm in ********** state, statute of limitations is 6 years and therefore they need to cease and desist now!

      This company keeps calling me regarding a EZ Money loans service loan that I didnt pull out in the amount of $1,129.69 and is saying that they are going to place a lien on my home and take the money out of my account unless I pay the balance due. I never took this loan and Ive seen multiple complaints on the BBB of people getting the same call owing the same amount. They could not give me any information about who to call to resolve this or an attorney number or anything in regards to the actual loan that was taken, they couldnt give me any useful information at all regarding this matter. They started out by telling me they couldnt take any payment and they were just the arbitration officer but by the end of the call they were telling me that I could settle it today for ******.

      I have gotten several calls from Aquarion Asset Management, threatening to have wages garnished if I didn't pay. As I tried to explain to *************************** that this has to be a mistake, she became rude and disrespectful over talking me. I advised her that I won't be talked to like that and I went on to ask questions about the "debt", the investigative agency that passed it to them and other pertinent information to give to law enforcement and an attorney. This company has to be a scam the way this person talks to people over the phone and how she doesn't listen well. Clearly this is fraud yet she didn't care and threatened to have my wages garnished. I found out some fraud in 2012, filed with ********* enforcement and thought this was over. I *************** who is attempting to defraud me like I did in the past. Companies like these shouldn't exist!

      My family home was contacted by someone from Aquarion Asset Management llc claiming I took out a loan from Advance America in 2017 and used ******* for it online. I specifically told Aquarion I didnt and that I have had my identity stolen which I have proof and lifetime identity monitoring through federal government. IRS, credit bureaus, social security etc all have this on file. The lady said she didnt care if it was me or not and I should just pay it because fighting it would be expensive. Also stated I didnt want to be embarrassed at work with sheriffs arresting me. I contacted Advance America, TDBank and both have verified Ive never had a loan with them nor was any kind of debt sold. They searched with all my identification and found nothing. I specifically told Aquarion asset management that it wasnt me. I contacted Aquarion again and the lady has sent me documents via text with a link to pay and stated advance america as creditor. I still havent received the loan they speak of. The documents say I have 30 days to dispute. I did contact them disputing it already. They are threatening sheriffs to arrest me. Originally they demanded payment that day then sent a second document with 30 day notice. *** told them it is not me but she said I can do this all day.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I have spoken to this original lender Advance America and they have searched their system their records and found no account with my name, social etc. they even checked loans that were sold and my information was not in there either. I also called the bank in question and they did not have anything on file with my name. the asset management company was informed multiple times that my identity has been stolen and that I had documentation showing so. The lady who I originally spoke to, told me it would cost alot of money to fight this so I should just pay it. I started asking questions, she said I can do this all day and hung up. She texted me links to documents I never received in the mail giving me 30 days to dispute the debt. I have told her on the phone this was not mine multiple times. They wont accept that and have threatened me to be arrested by sheriffs. I do have lifetime identity monitoring due to my identity being stolen and have evidence to back it up. The original lender and the bank both said there was no loan in my name.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Aquarion asset management called me today with a threatening voicemail. Their arbitrator was processing my file and would be contacting a place of employment and financial institution. They called me may 15th and I answered, waited on phone for 3mins for the person who called to answer. Never did so I hung up. I have text and documents from this company stating 30 days to dispute this. They sent that may 2. Its only been two weeks. I received a response from advance america stating I was a victim of fraud and they have never had an account with my social or name. Ive tried resolving This numerous times with Aquarion assets llc even willing to show them my credit report, identity monitoring that shows this isnt me but they said they dont care. They still have not shown me the original loan that I supposedly had with advance America or the bank documents.
