Crooked Company, Buy Elsewhere. Also, the BBB is in bed with these companies. I have seen it more and more that the Better Business Bureau who receives payments from the corporations that they are supposed to give an unbiased report of, does not. Yes, Frigidaire/Electrolux has many complaints and they are systematically closed, but how many are actually in favor of the customer? I purchased an air conditioner recently and installed it through the wall so now I am stuck with it, but I won't make the mistake again with this company. **************** is in Asia and good luck trying to get assistance. Never Again.

They want $50 to replace a cracked dryer k*** Thats because the $30 k*** has been discontinued. Besides the fact this broke from normal use, were talking about a single piece of plastic.

While placing an order over the phone, the wrong part was ordered. I am trying to return this item that I did not order. However, Frigidaire wants me to pay for shipping in order to receive my refund. Very bad business practices. The customer service person ordered the wrong part, not me.

Our new Frigidaire refrigerator never cooled properly. It was purchased from ****** which wouldn't exchange it beyond 48 hours (it takes that long to make sure it is cooling properly). It is virtually impossible to get warranty service on their toll-free line. After many attempts I was finally hooked up after a long wait to someone who appeared to work in an out--of-the-country call center. I could barely understand her and there were roosters crowing in the background. The representative told me that the fastest they could get warranty service to me (Milwaukee metropolitan area) was two weeks away. Am I supposed to starve in the meantime? We have already thrown out a ton of bad food. I also have to keep my insulin cool. The inside temperature of the refrigerator should be 40F; ours never cooled down below 60F at the coldest setting. This is unacceptable and Frigidaire makes it hard to get any satisfaction. I'll never buy an Electrolux or Frigidaire product again and never from a major home improvement center. Very non-responsive company!

      1. ******* purchased 15 May 2022. Failed in Nov, 2022. Repair person looked at the freezer, but it restarted after being plugged back in. Possible controller malfunction? Failed again in April 2023. Parts that were preordered for the controller (in Nov 2022) were shipped to repair the frezzer (no repair person has looked at the freezer in April 2023), so I will assume this is a known problem with Frigidaire Freezers. Two failures both related to the controller.2. Electrolux "scheduled" an appointment for 21 April ****, but service company had no appointment scheduled when I contaced them. I received one email from Electrolux saying that the appointment was scheduled! After I scheduled an appointment for May 1. 3. I believe that the controller failures may be a know issue with their freezers, based on the preordering of the parts from the Nov repair visit. 4. Electrolux customer service has a "set process" they are supposed to follow and do not deviate from that process for any reason! Not exactly the best way to address customer complaints. When I asked to speak to a manager, I received a "discussion" on the process they have.

Awful! Started with leaking unit took a month to get service to say nothing was wrong. 2 months later leaking worse & unit now not freezing or cooling. No service available for 2 WEEKS & NO help from customer service who just ends the chat & says sorry we understand your frustration. Now have a ************** with no fridge & lost hundreds of dollars in groceries with no fix !

Purchased a Frigidaire french door refrigerator January 1, 2019. December 2022 we started having issues. Refrigerator part quit cooling the way it should and I had a puddle at one side on the floor. Called a repairmen, he pulled the fridge out from the wall and there was a big blob of ice on the back eating through the insulation. Lots of frost/ice buildup in the back of the freezer part as well and the freezer ice maker had quit working. Vegetables in the bin were frozen but ice cream in the freezer wouldn't freeze. This fridge cost over $2000 and lasted less than four years. Repairman told me the cost to fix the fridge would not be worth it. Had to purchase another refrigerator, at another $2000-plus.

Side by side refrigerator died 18 months after purchase. Had a repair technician come out and look at it. He said there was nothing he can do to fix this and was a common issues with the Frigidaire appliances. I talked to frigidiaire and the said to bad the warranty has expired and should have looked at getting the extended warranty. We only have 1-year manufacturer warranty for all of our major appliances.Red at 13:34, Apr 18:So even if we honor you as the original owner of it it still our of warranty.Red at 13:35, Apr 18:That means that we cannot file a replacement claim for the unit.***** at 13:35, Apr 18:So there is nothing that Frgidaire will do to help her?Read Red at 13:36, Apr 18:Just like every customer that we have, we are also following the warranty procedure that is included in the manual of the unit.***** at 13:36, Apr 18:So your $1100.00 refrigerator is only good for 18 months before people have to start replacing them?Read Red at 13:38, Apr 18:If you would ask as a customer I won't agree to that.Red at 13:39, Apr 18:But it is our duty to read what is covered and not on the warranty.Red at 13:39, Apr 18:Also, we should also be aware of when the warranty will be expired because you have the option to extend it.Thank you Frigidaire for caring. **************** at its best.

February 27th my completed documents were received by Frigidaire/Electrolux. ***** confirmed receipt of a second email with all the documentation on April 3rd. According to the warranty replacement documents they sent me, I should have had my replacement Gallery Series Microwave in **** days. It's been 7 weeks and they have given me excuses. They said ***** couldn't be reached, yet I called and the manager said they had other **s from other companies, but not mine from Frigidaire/Electrolux. Technical difficulties is a recurring excuse. No supervisor ever gets on the phone or emails/calls back as promised. The agents keep saying they have to send a email to the corporate office to find out what the hold up is, but the number I keep calling IS the corporate office! ***** said they'll accept all the documentation as proof of a defective product and will use that as the ** to provide me with a new replacement microwave. I can't get the warranty service to INSTALL the microwave unless they get their act together and actually submit the ** paperwork to *****! I picked up my replacement microwave from the apologetic manager at LOWES on Saturday. I'm still being hung up on, transferred back to the beginning of the customer service call to start over, answered via their text chat every ***** minutes before being closed out .... 4th attempt to contact them today alone in progress... and I'm on hold while they 'review' my case.
