1 starOrdered a machine from Lenovo's website on Cyber Monday. Chose them over 3 different stores due to the sale on the item on the one major sale day of the season. No mention of out of stock or limited availability. Order placed for $639 on 12/2.3 days later, evening of 12/5, received cancellation email stating "We have received your request to cancel one or more items on order ...". I never sent a cancellation request.12/6, in the morning, did online chat with Support that could not understand why this was cancelled. Directed me to Sales Support via phone. Call Sales Support. They "created an account" for me and specify that they will consult with manager to follow up. Asking how long, they said a few hours. No response. Instead, I see a quote for a different machine for $100 more (bait and switch?)Basic request - send my father the one-in-one machine I was allowed to purchase. Or, gauging that they sold something they didn't have anymore, send an equivalent - at the same purchase price. I won't see those Cyber Monday deals anymore.12/8, due to lack of response, contacted, by phone, Sales Support again. They state, again, to get back after reaching out to their manager. Got email from agent. Never received further feedback.12/10, called Sales Support again. Was told that original item no longer available - and nearly nothing else is almost. Was offered a different machine for $500 more (bait and switch #2?)Know your inventory. Don't allow a sale for something you don't have. I now will have to pay likely regular prices someplace else. I purchased a lenovo ideapad from *********** and right off the bat this laptop had issues. No amount of troubleshooting would fix the camera not working. So I was given another new 1...everything seemed fine. Now that I'm needing to use headphones for a video conference...the audio **** isn't working. Brand new machines and there seems to be issues with all of them. So disappointing considering they are sturdy little cases.Lenovo

1 starI purchased a laptop, "Ideapad Gaming 3", from Lenovo on 24/11/2023. I discovered that it had issues at random (USB drives disconnecting, system hangups, slow performance). I documented the issues over months, attempted suggested software resets, and sent it for a repair in May 2024. The issues persisted. I sent it for another hardware repair Nov 2024, and the tech support over the phone promised me that if the second repair fails, they will be able to start a refund process. I got it back 20/11/2024, with the same issues persisting. I contacted technical support on 27/11/2024. One agent dropped the call, another told that they can initiate a refund process only on the third repair, third told me they forwarded the process to customer care department who will be able to initiate the refund, and I should expect an email or call within 24 hours. I got no call or email and contacted customer care department on 28/11/2024, who told me that they cannot refund me the cost for the laptop because of the 30 day refund policy. They also said that they cannot see the technical support case, because all details of my case are only visible to the technical support department. At this point I asked for any identifiable information of the employee in order to document the issue and try to contact someone - but they claimed they had no legal last name and didn't give out their employee ID. I asked for the employee's supervisor, which they reluctantly did (and after me asking several times whether they are refusing to forward me to their supervisor). The supervisor only said the same things that the employee did, also refused to give out any identifiable information, and said that the customer care department only initiates refunds within 30 days of purchase, and the technical support can initiate refunds on defective products. I called the tech support department, who said that they initiated an escalation with a **************** relations - department.Review fromSusan M

I purchased premium care plus for my laptop, but not only is the laptop having problems within a few months of use, but they are not honoring the tech support I purchased because they made a typo. Hours on the phone and getting a complete runaround. I don't recommend buying a Lenovo product, and if you do, understand that you are on your own if you have a problem.Lenovo

My computer, purchased in July 2021, had a screen failure that was repaired at the Lenovo depot in November 2022 without incident.Yet again, I had a BSOD failure on the computer in November 2024 and I sent it in for a repair. Unfortunately, the second time around did not go as well. Even after repeated communication to Lenovo customer service that I had moved and my computer should be shipped to a new address, they still sent it to my old ********** first interaction with customer service, they told me to contact ****** but ***** only changes shipping addresses for the shipper.The second interaction, they claimed they had escalated it urgently to a Customer Relations Manager, who would be reaching out within 24 hours. There was no outreach or apology from Lenovo.Then they closed my ticket as "resolved" so I could no longer comment on it.I had to spend several hours gaining entry to my old apartment and retrieve the package before it was stolen. There was no assistance from Lenovo in this regard and no apology was made for my experience with their customer service. Given the unreliability of the computer product and the issue with repairing and customer service, I'm hesitant to recommend a Lenovo product again, despite being a loyal customer for their gaming laptops since 2016.Lenovo

1 starI purchased premier support for my Lenovo laptop. The support is horrendous. My laptop went haywire on Nov. 8, 2024. I called support and was assigned a case number. I was told to run the diagnostics tool and call back when it was finished. I did as told and when I talked to support on the 9th, I was informed that the next day (Monday) I would receive a telephone call from Lenovo to arrange for someone to come to my home to fix my laptop. This is the support service I was paying for. No one ever called me. On the 13th when I called to complain I was told that a Manager would contact me. I am still waiting. In the meantime I had to pay an expert to fix my laptop. LENOVO SUPPORT IS HORRIBLE AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY.I had to leave a one star rating in order for this review to be posted.Review fromR. B.

My Experience with Lenovo: Beware of Their Crooked PracticesOver a year ago, I purchased a Lenovo computer, expecting a quality product backed by reliable customer service. Instead, the computer caught fire, and what followed was a series of shady, dishonest practices that no customer should have to endure.I filed a claim with Lenovo and provided all the necessary documentation, including proof of premium care service. Lenovo took my computer for inspection, and from that point on, everything went downhill. They wiped my account clean, pretending I never had premium care. They even claimed they sent my computer back, but I never received it. They left me stranded without a working device and refused to take responsibility.For more than a year, Ive been stuck in a cycle of lies and excuses. Ive spent over 10 hours on hold, transferred from one representative to another, with constant promises of escalations and call-backs that never happened. Lenovos customer service has been nothing but a scam, filled with dishonesty and crookedness.They are deliberately dodging accountability, and their actions have affected my livelihood. Lenovo doesnt care about their customers, and their service is a complete fraud. If youre thinking of buying from Lenovo, bewaretheir products may look good, but their corrupt practices will leave you in the dust when things go wrong.Lenovo

This is an absolute lie. Lenovo would not give me my replacement computer. Mine caught on fire and I had premium care and I tried for over a year to send it in. They kept me on hold over 10 hours over 10 hours and then I sent it into him. I sent him pictures from the beginning day one and everything and I sent it to him. Once they sent it back will they ask it for me? They finally asked for it again. I sent it back again. Well at that point when I called back to find out what happened they said they sent it back to me and all of it wasn't there. That's a lie because at that point my account at ********************** was wiped clean and it showed I didn't have premium care so they also wiped it clean that I didn't have premium care. They didn't want to give me my computer so they're they're full of lies. I have all my receipts all my paperwork I sent it in over five times and this is just they are crooked. That is crookedness to wipe my account clean to try not to give it to me and make me look like you know they said they contacted me. They're liars they are. They are thieves and liars and I'm going to take this to the news now that they will not give me. I'm disabled. I lost my job over it. Yes they're treating a disabled man this way they are treating it. A disabled man this this way this is how they treat disabled people. No joke. I hate to see how they hate other people. 1 starOrdered a stylus from Lenovo; first it was "being shipped". then it was "expected to arrive a day later. Then that changed to two days later . Come to find out between Lenovo and ***, my package is lost. Or never left Lenovo facility. No "new scans" in two days. My bank credited to me the amount but worst, worst, WORST customer service. If you're going to have to go through this nonsense with them, buy generic or don't buy anything that supports Lenovo products.
