      I am experiencing the same issue as Befh S. is below.New siding installed in 2014, ***** Shawdow (Dark Grey) - premium color.Fading terribly.Called the warranty **** and they sent me a packet to complete.Completed and sent back everything except for a sample as i stated that i could climb up that high to get a sample. They stated they could do nothing without a sample.I asked if they could send a rep. out and they said no.I called the building supply store where the siding was purchased from and they actually got in touch with a rep. from Ply Gem and he got in touch with someone who came out and took samples and sent them back in for testing.Couple of days later i got a letter rejecting my claim.I asked for a test report and they said they did not have one, 5 minutes after we hung up on the phone, i received the report yet the p/n tested was different than what was sent in.I asked the warranty rep. for her manager's name and she refused.I asked for her to have him call me and again nothing.Worst customer service/warranty person i have ever come across. Basically been hung-up on 3 times and lied to 3 times. Hard to believe she still has a job.Worst company i have ever had to deal with.**** NEVER buy anything else from this company.Had to give 1 star to just be able to submit my comment. They are much less than a 1.

      Unfortunately I can't leave 0 stars. Worst company ever. I bought a bay window with grids and boy let me tell you was that a mistake. Over half a year to rectify the issue. According to the representative **** the window had to be remade 16 times. Time after time the "corrected" window was sent to be put in and the same issue The grids did not line up. Also multiple times it was broke in transit. The representative **** told me they can give me the money back for the window but ide be out of a 50 year warranty. Gee thanks. He then said he put way to much money in this project to come up with any other compensation. Between there incompetence and lack of communication I promise you can find a better company that will have your windows completed correct the first time.

      This review mirrors exactly all the ones I've read here. Months and months of beating my head against the wall. I hope this company completely and utterly fails. And it would be helpful if we could choose "0" stars!

      Ordered a window to replace one covered under warranty, it arrived chipped. I have called 5 times messages and emails that go unanswered! Terrible!! Ship me a broken warranty window. **************** is poor

      We bought ply Gem windows in ****. Brand new **** square foot residential home in ******** *****. Owyhee Windows installed. They went out of business. We started having issues **** with the low-e windows blotching and streaking. Ply-gem had a local subcontractor who came out once a year or every other year when we called to replace. We had a lifetime warranty.We also started having issues with tension risers failing so we couldn't open or close windows. The local subcontractor left ply-gem around 2016. Now we have 4 windows with streaking and blotching and 3 with riser issues. We had filed a claim in 2022 and have gotten no where. ***** from warranty department his supervisor *********************** the claims manager have not responded to the claim.

      I replaced all of the doors and windows in my home with Ply Gem products and I am very sorry that I did...... I have had multiple hardware failures (latches and handles) as a result of the cheap materials they use. I also have a window with a failed seal. In December of 2022, I filed separate online warranty claims for a window latch replacement and for the failed window seal. It is now the beginning of April 2023 and after multiple phone calls to Ply Gem I am not a single step closer to any kind of resolution. Every time I call and speak to someone I am told that they have a large backlog of warranty claims and that this is 'normal'! Clearly there is an issue with a company who has so many warranty claims that they cannot respond to one of them in more than 4 months! As it relates to the broken window latch, that has been a serious issue for us this past winter, as I have been unable to keep the window latched and when it rains, water is pouring through the window causing damage to my home. I have left multiple messages for Ply Gem customer service offering to pay for the new hardware if they could just send it to me, as there is no online or other source to purchase replacement hardware. No response has been received from them. I am extremely upset that after spending the kind of money that I did on their products, they clearly have no regard for their customers and don't stand behind their products. Based on he many other negative reviews that I have read, it seems like the problem that I am experiencing is pervasive. As it appears that I will never get this resolved with Ply Gem, I am now going to refocus my time and write reviews on every possible channel on the internet so that future customers know what they are getting into when purchasing inferior Ply Gem products and inevitably having to try and deal with non-existent customer service.

      Since January 31st of this year I have been waiting to hear back about a warranty claim on a leaking window. No movement so far. After calling multiple times I finally get the case to move forward. Turns out, it will still take months before anything gets fixed, or even happens.I now understand the extremely low review scores Ply Gem gets online. Don't buy your windows here, if you want windows that don't leak and cause damage to your home, while you're waiting for months to get anything fixed. Unfortunately, we didn't get to choose.

      *** *** ***** **** ****** ** ***** *** *** * ****** ****** ******** ********* *** ******* ** ** *****  Brock windows installed 5 exterior doors $13,000.00 in total. They said 1 day to install it took them 6 tries and every door and frame came damaged from factory or damaged during installation. Winter is here and all doors on inside of house had ice build up because of air flow. I lost heat this winter from my new doors. My flooring needs to be replaced in one room now thanks to one of these poor quality doors and frames. My old 45 year old doors worked better. No response on a time frame when going to replace. They still wanted 90 of contract. Big mistake calling them. I’m on the second year dealing with this. I’m 100% disappointed I’m trying to fix my house now it is in worse condition.

      The door that was purchased and delivered and it was damaged back in December 2022. Ply Gem was notified and sent pictures and we were told within a week we would have a new one delivered to the home. **** ******* is the person handling it. It's a huge safety issue as they don't shut tight or lock. We are now into March 2023 and still do not have the new doors. **** ******* does not return phone calls and has very poor communication. The person who answered our very first phone call back in December 2022, ******* ********** is the best. To this day we can call her and she still tries her hardest to get our problem resolved even knowing it's beyond her job duties. We thank her immensely for her continued support.

      In August ************************************************************ broken. Emailing back and forth with them over months, yielded no results.They kept asking for the same information over and over, which I sent multiple times. When I reached the limit of my patience I turned the matter over to my wife who was similarly frustrated even though she finally got to talk to someone on the phone. Excuses were made but no action taken. The last excuse, weeks ago was that it was stuck in traffic. Finally, today, March 3, 2023, there is someone here replacing it. Hopefully when he's done it will work.My advice? If someone tries to sell you a Ply-Gem product, run the other way.
