There invoice policy is reprehensible , since May of 2022 I had an overdue balance of 21.75. I have been paying 9.05 dollars extra when paying my monthly bill to reduce my outstanding balance. They have been stealing my extra payments, because now in September 2022 my invoices continues to show the outstanding balance of 21.75, I have tried to resolve this with company to no avail.GFL Environmental

Been dealing with this company a few years and it's always been poor service and oh boy poor customer. So ive been trying to cancel my trash service for 3months now and im still getting new bills at my new address witch ive been in since last year nov. ive email and called its not to get any help so today some rudeeeeee lady called Nail was so rude to me. I asked 7 times why are you being so rude to me and speaking over me but im not doing that to you. She told me why are being conbative, I was stocked. she wouldnt stop talking over me then i asked again and she said im trying to save time i said well you speaking over me its saving time she said yes it is because we will end up in the same place. i heard her talking deep breaths. something was really wrong with this lady and this is only one experience, there has been over 25, from not comming to do the service ive been paying for to me calling and no one answers to always getting a pass due bill but never a regular bill to trying to cancel,calling and emailing and still being billed months after i cancel and left that property and they know this due to send new bills to my new address that i gave them monthsssss ago..so why are you billing me? i will never call these people again due ti the worst customer workers ive ever had in life. ive been on hold to my a complaint onher and the number she transfreed me to is for new customer. BEWAREEEEEEEEEE I had the worst experince with this company. They dont even do what you pay them for and get mad if you call to ask about it and thats if they answer for you.i had to leave 1 star to leave review witch is misleading also.im a business owner for pass 7yrs and i keep my customer do to great performance and great customer service..good luck...GFL Environmental

Wish I could be no star. This is the worst trash service I ever had. They drop trash out the can, knock the can over and takes hours to answer the phone. Supervisor never calls you back. JUST TERRIBLE WOSH I COULD FIND SOMEONE ELSEGFL Environmental

I was a customer of Waste Management when they were acquired by GFL Environmental in the Fall of 2021. At first I thought they had just rebranded themselves, but when I got my first statement from them it was obvious that I was dealing with a new company. I received my first statement from them in the mail which included $1.95 for a paper statement. I went ahead and paid them.
I was unable to access my account so I could not set up automatic payment. Almost immediately they changed our pickup day from the beginning of the week to Wednesday. If the landfill was closed for a holiday, our trash was not picked up. By the first week of March 2022 none of the customers on our street had had a pickup for three weeks. I called the company and told them to cancel my account. I was told that my account was cancelled. About two weeks later, a driver from GFL came to my house and took their trash bin.
GFL apparently "fixed" their billing system by April because they charged my credit card for the next three months! I disputed this charge with my credit card provider and got my money back. But three months later my card was charged again! I disputed this charge and cancelled my credit card. I sent a complaint letter to their U.S. Headquarters and never got a response. And now they are still contacting me trying to get me to sign up for their "service"!GFL Environmental

Being Billed But receiving NO Service for 3 months! I have talked with and received a confirmation that the dispute was being handled and my request for cancellation would be taken care of. I have a new service provider for 3 months and GFL Environmental continues too send me invoices by email with new and past charges with no service provided. The only 2 times a physical person actually picked up the call they've given excuses that systems are down . I don't want this too affect my credit rating. I PAY MY BILLS! I was instructed too leave their Trash Container at end of driveway and it's been sitting there for a month. Their website for support contacts is not correct according to a person **** the name he gave me and gave me another number to call next morning. I will NOT Pay for services NOT RENDERED! I will go to social media and newspaper too resolve this blatant act of unaccountability if there's NO action takenGFL Environmental

Over charge never answer the phone, and trash is never picked up on time if at all. I had to call the bank to stop payments, it's been a month no ones called back or picked up the cans or canceled my service. Gfl is nothing but a scaming trash companyGFL Environmental

This is absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER received from a company. We have been waiting for our recycling to be picked up for over 3 weeks. We have called multiple times per week, and continue to get the run around. Our entire neighborhood is furious but can get absolutely no resolution. Many are canceling but can't even do that, they wont' come pick up their cans and then continue to charge them.
Absolutely terrible. They don't deserve 1 star, but it won't let me give less.GFL Environmental

Terminate service to customers 8/31/22
Letter that was sent out and received today on the day of collection, in which did not happen. No true explanation why they have done so either.
GFL APPRECIATES THE OPPORTUNITY WE'VE HAD TO SERVE YOU AS A HOUR CUSTOMER. AT THIS TIME IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED WE CAN NO LONGER PROVIDE THE LEVEL OF SERVICE NEEDED TO EFFECTIVELY MEET YOUR NEEDS REALLY HAVE WE HAD TO MAKE THE DECISION DETERMINATE SERVICE TO A CUSTOMER HOWEVER WE FEEL THIS IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF BOTH PARTIES. THIS LETTER WILL SERVE AS 30-DAY NOTIFICATION OF A GFL APOSTROPHE S AND TEND TO TERMINATE SERVICE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE TERMINATION WILL BE SEPTEMBER 30TH 2022. THIS NOTIFICATION IS BE PROVIDED TO ALLOW TIME FOR YOU TO SECURE A TRASH COLLECTION SERVICE FROM ANOTHER PARTY. Gfl a trash service that purchased county waste has invented phoney charges trying to aquire monies from unspectacular customers in the amount of 1.95 per customer per account . At a rate of over a million customers throughout grl areas that amounts to an astonishingly large amount of monies. From myself it amounts to 3.90 but if they do this to the rest of the customers it's over whelingly huge fraud. I have all receipts of paid checks dating from January 1 of 2022 to present and each month I pay 3 months in advance so never late, never missed an invoice so mathmaticly there is no way I owe anything. The manager, ******** which seems racist began by rudely insisting they only recoeved 19.00 from county waste which doesn't line up with my check paid at 21.20 a month thusfore revealed the problem on gfl end but then retracted and said I owe it and that's the way it is...GFL Environmental

This is the WORST service I have ever received from a garbage collection company. The collectors were extremely rude, neglected to do the job and the corporate phone number is not tended to. Would not recommend this business to anyone.GFL Environmental
