      Since being bought out from ****** *****, GFL has been lacking in its customer support and follow up.
      In June of this year I called customer support to report that the normally scheduled pickup for Wednesday, June 29th had not been made. I was told that the truck was probably too full and that the regular pickup would take place the following day, no later than 7pm. It was not!
      I called again on Thursday, June 30th to report that a pickup had NOT been made. I was then told that they could no longer make a pickup that week and I would have to wait until July 7th because of the July 4th holiday.
      I have placed several phone calls asking to speak with a branch manager, have gone unacknowledged. I have sent notifications via their own GFL website regarding this complaint and to terminate services but still I am getting billed.
      Also there was no notification or explanation for the monthly charge rising from $42 to $46 per month!

      Worst trash service ever. First they did not pick up because they said I didn't pay my bill. I always have without fail. Tomorrow will be the seventh time calling because they they failed to take my trash. They have excuses, try to blame the customer, argue and are rude. Minus would be my rating! ***** ** *********

      Tomorrow will be 3 weeks no pickup for the complex. Keep being told they will be there tomorrow, been told this for a couple weeks, tomorrows have come and gone. Also, been hung up on. This is a very bad business.

      They were pretty good in the beginning but these last 2 years they were missing picking up my trash. When I called to see if they could come by another day they never would but would only credit my account. I finally gave up on them and went with another service. Now I'm having trouble getting my refund from them. I should be getting $74.45 back . I've been told it would take 10 to 12 weeks which is ridiculous for a refund to be processed. They took my payments by automatic deduction from my checking account from the local office that the check was mailed on July 6 and has to come from Canada. Why in the world would it take that long for me to get my refund? They've done the same thing to my sister who is waiting on $156. We need our money. It shouldn't take 10 to 12 weeks to get money back .

      I live in ***** ****. I have had very bad service with GFL environmental. Our garbage and many times our recycling are skipped over and see them go a few houses down and pick up both their cans. Today I got to watch a worker sit between two houses and change his clothes, jump out of the truck, spray himself with deodorant spray and put his shirt on. At least he sat in the truck to take off his pants and put his shorts and shoes on. When they came back around 2:35 pm the guy who was getting my Grey can, I got off my porch to bring my can back in my yard, he saw me, got mad, and deliberately left my can in the middle of the street. They also throw our cans in the middle of the sidewalk and the street.. they are very rude and obnoxious and a horrible company

      In *********,Georgia they have raised rates twice since hiring them, and they do not notify you in advance, they DO NOT pick trash as per scheduled contract and they will not answer their phones or emails!!!!

      1 hour on hold every time.
      Trucks leak trash and oil out bottom.
      Rates go up but your services go down.

      Horrible customer service!! Call several times and hold for well over an hour only to be hung up on IMMEDIATELY. Makes sure to process payments in a timely manner but havent had trash picked up in 3 weeks! Absolutely ridiculous!

      My trash service has "suppose" to be canceled since June. My cans have been sitting at the road since empty waiting to be returned by the company. I have been calling for the last 2 months and have been on hold for 15-27mins on multiple different calls with no answer. Today I received a bill for $103!
      Something needs to be done. I see they are responding to these complaints, but nothing. Else!
