      Company does Not pick up Trash nor Recycling, yet I am still being billed. Why should I pay for no service provided???
      Tried to contact this Company by Email and Phone for 3 months straight. They Never answer their phones, and they do not respond to emails!!!

      As of today 8/16/22 they have not picked up residential trash in my subdivision since 7/29/22. I can not get through to the ********* office. Of course, I’m paid up till 10/31/22 and can want a refund for services not rendered. To do that you have to call the ********* office??. ********* office doesn’t respond to emails either.

      Zero stars if it was an option. Run far away. Garbage pick up day becomes random and hope your day is not near a Holiday. But now I can’t get them to cancel my service. I have talked to a representative (a miracle in itself) and left several emails to cancel. Even tried calling again, on hold for an hour, rep picks up to tell me they have computer issues and hangs up!!! Now I have been charged again for a property I moved from on May 17th. This is just the poorest excuse for a service provider.

      TERRIBLE. Recently took over my local garbage company's route. The old guys (****** *****) were GREAT. Always came regardless of weather, never random price increase or any other sort of issues we were always told up front and it was up to us to continue service. SINCE having this company - my garbage gets picked up - but I just received an email that my bill is overdue (on auto pay), and there's a random $5 increase! AGAIN. This is ridiculous and shouldn't be legal. It's almost like they want people to leave their company because they bit off more than they could chew...Can't get anyone to answer the phone - and when you do you find out the number isn't for the location that you need, it's to one 3 hours away!!!! HORRIBLE- STEER CLEAR!

      The company will not pick up on the scheduled day for our recycling. It has been nearly four months of them saying it is getting fixed by adding drivers and training. Still nothing. Not only do they not pick up on scheduled days, but when I call and let them know it was missed they add me to the missed pickup day...and still miss the pickup! I just cancelled my recycling service as self sorting and taking to the center myself is going to be easier.
      Trash works fine though and the pickup regularly and consistently.

      GFL is the worst business in Springfield to business with.
      We are a small commercial account that has been in Springfield since 1866.
      They will not answer their phone or provide you with an e-mail to communicate with them.
      They charged us $143.75 to remove their trash can from our property after paying them for an extra month of service that they did not provide service for.
      I would not us this company for anything!

      Terrible customer service. My lid came off my garbage can a couple of months ago and no one will answer the phone when I call. I’ve submitted several emails trying to get a new can and no one will respond. I’ve sent them online on my account and to the wecanhelp email still nothing.

      I would give this company zero stars if I could. They continue to miss trash pick up even though can is out on time. I’m always paid up however their service has really gone down hill. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

      Stay away from this company. The trash pickup company that they bought was way better than this rip off company. I cancelled the service with the local GFL office here back last November 2021 because they no longer would pickup/service the street we leave our trash cans on. Didn't get any notice of it. Until I went 2 weeks of my trash not getting picked up. When contacting local office about it. That is when I found out that they wanted me to leave trash can on main road that we don't leave on because trash cans block our driveway because it is smaller. So I switch to a different company that would pickup on the street we leave our cans on. Then I called to cancel back in November 2021 after paying for 3 months after dealing a very rude customer service person. She finally got her to cancel the account. Then I get a notice around March 2022 in the mail that they sent $51.33 to collections agency. I shouldn't have to pay when they never picked my trash up. When I canceled my service back in November. I should be refunded that amount since they never picked my trash up. So if you deal with this company. I will advise to find someone else if you can because down the road they will rip up off.

      They leave broken glass everytime the recycling truck picks up on ours, and other streets in ********** and ******* *****. They don't respond to email or telephone complaints.
      I walk our dog and constantly have to keep my eye out for the glass, clearly coming from their recycle truck. Their trash pick up is outstanding, their recycle efforts are HORRIBLE!!
