If I could give a zero, I would! This company is very deceptive on their website!! I placed an order for a promotional price of$9.86 each. This is the price I saw and that was on my order when I placed it. When I received the order confirmation, I was charged the full price of $14.09 each!! This is false advertising!!!! I have seen on BBB complaints that the company says that extensions like Rakuten or Honey will override the pricing. The company needs to state that clearly on their website!!! That is total deception otherwise. I will be attempting to cancel my order and will not be ordering from this company again!!!Swanson Health Products, Inc.

I placed an order on 5/4/2024 to arrive between 5/11 and and 5/13.
I called as it did not arrive and was told it was in Reading Mass as it needed to be re-labelled. It is 5/21, no package, no vitamins, no word.
I have been out of vitamins for 7 days as it has been 17 days since my order, thinking 10 days would be enough.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

I apologize for the delay in your package delivery. It was reported that the label was unreadable on the 15th of May and needed to be reprinted at the warehouse for the package to be delivered. We ask for 48 hours to process the package, but once the package has been shipped, the expected delivery time is 2-6 business days. When you contacted us on the 21st of May, we reshipped a new package, and it appears both packages have arrived to you at this time. Please keep the second package as a gift from Swanson's for your frustration and the delay in getting the original package. I can assure you this is not a "normal" situation. Order 1486626 shipped on 5/9/24. It reached Kansas on 5/11 and hasn't moved in 5 days.
I called FedEx and the Post Office, neither has it or can track it.
45 minutes with Chat at Swanson, and was told it cannot be tracked except by what FedEx has. Was offered a $10 gift card.
I said, my issue was not resolved. I want to know where the package is now, as it will not magically travel from KS to CA in one day.
Was given a full refund.
I am reporting this to the BBB and taking my business elsewhere.
Swanson used to be a great company, with excellent delivery service. I don't know what changes you've made but they're awful.

I completely understand your frustration. I apologize for the delay! It is very disappointing not to see a package move or arrive on time. I am unaware of the inner workings of the ***** process. I know that for standard shipping, the delivery time frame is 2-6 business days after the package leaves our warehouse. Yesterday was the sixth day. Without any tracking updates, we did provide a full refund on the items you ordered. Please be aware that the package will likely still arrive. And we hope that it does. I understand that you desired to receive the items you ordered. However, we believe the correct thing to do when a situation like this occurs is to either reship the items or refund the total to make the customer whole. Again, I am very sorry for the frustration and disappointment that this has caused. I request that you give us another chance and use the $10.00 Gift Certificate toward your next purchase. Totally missing the point: CS turned a simple request to find out where the package was located into a 45 minute ordeal, with lame answers like 'we only have the information ***** has. Please contact them' when I said I already had. They told me to contact the merchant.I would rather stick pins in my eyes than buy anything from Swanson ever again. Weirdly, I feel moved to post a review, because I see how many folks are giving bad reviews, primarily based on customer service. I have used Swanon for at least two decades, and NEVER had any problems with their web page or their service.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

I have been a Swanson customer for way over twenty years. To my chagrin and vast disappointment I will no longer be using Swanson. Why? Because their website has become a SCAM. Too much to go into, but it is a fact....the website is so designed so as to increase your order no matter how carefully you place the order. Plus, there is no longer any dependable way to correct your order. Obviously, Swanson enjoys the increases inherent in customers laziness, who allow an order to be increased. Even I was tempted a few times.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing changes in pricing. I know it can be frustrating when this happens. Based on your description, it sounds like there was a specific promo applied but then a different promo was applied or activated. Most of our offers will reflect the discounts directly in the displayed item prices, so when a promotion changes it will also change the prices showing. A common cause of this is programs like Rakuten or Honey overriding the promotions on our site. These types of programs/extensions would need to be disabled in order for this to not occur on the site. Clicking separate links, entering a sperate promotional code, or clicking other background coupon programs, may also change the prices as well. If or when something like this happens, we are always available on Chat or by phone to help you get the correct promotion or pricing you are looking for. I never received my package after 3 weeks of waiting but has been charged for it. Fed ex tracking link from swanson no longer works so I go directly to fed ex to track and it say it at the post office waiting for delivery which I doubt because 5 days before it was in Philadelphia for 5 days just waiting. I TRIED TO CALL FED EX TO TRACK PACKAGE AND CANNOT GET THRU AUTOMATIC SYSTEM IT HANGS UP ON ME WHEN ASK FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. SO YES I WANT MY MONEY BACK JUST AS QUICK AS YOU TOOK IT OUT MY ACCOUNT. I contacted for a refund AND IF ITS NOT THERE IN 3 BUSINESS DAYS AS SWANSON SAYS I WILL BE DISPUTING THE CHARGES. IT RIDICULOUS HOW CROOKED THESE COMPANIES ARESwanson Health Products, Inc.

I have enjoyed vitamins and supplements fro Swanson for a long time! If I had any questions or needed more information, they were always gracious to help me. They have great products and great sale prices and I will continue to use them. No one and no company is perfect, but I enjoy doing business with them and feel confident, should any problem arise, they would be able to resolve it.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

I know that everything N. S. that sent that last review was way off base, Swanson is an awesome company and customer service is incredible never ever had a problem. Now as far as purity I'm not sure, but does anybody know for sure their health products are up to standards. I hope Swanson is legit and I no reason that they are not because I do see results!Swanson Health Products, Inc.

Do not buy directly from Swanson. They engage in deceptive practices by pretending to match the price, sending you packages with missing items, and while promising to resend you the missing item, they just don't. Customer service takes forever to respond with misleading claims. I understand human errors sometimes happen, but what I don't appreciate is being led on. It's been a month since I was supposed to receive my order in its entirety. They've had me check my mail daily to look for a package they never sent. They gladly charged the full amount for the items they didn't even have in stock. Then they only sent a part of the order with no communication whatsoever. Were they hoping I would not notice the missing item? I'm now fighting for a refund. The issue has not been resolved.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

I am sorry for the frustration this order has caused the customer. We show that the order was sent out in full. However, it appears there was a miscount as the customer stated they only received 7 of the 8 they ordered. We are currently waiting for the manufacturer to send us more of the product, as it is not a Swanson Brand item. We do only charge for items that are shipped. I do see that the customer requested the item on back-order item be canceled and a refund was issued on 3/6/24. It may take 3-5 days for the refund to reflect on the customers statement. We can price match with vitamin competitors; however, we sell our products on Amazon. Some items on Amazon are in bulk instead of individual items so prices can vary. It's amazing how quickly you responded to my reviews here at BBB and TrustPilot, while you've always been taking days to respond to my emails. You didn't seem to bother to communicate with me directly to let me know that a part of my order was missing and left me hanging for almost a month. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I received an email saying 'thank you for your order' confirmation for almost $65. worth of items. I had not ordered anything. The order was placed by someone in Georgia, and was to be sent to someone with my name in Texas. I live in New Hampshire. The customer's name and address were clearly stated on the order and it was not me. Someone there was too stupid or lazy to make sure the order went to the correct account, and just picked the first person in their files with my name (evidently). This was the beginning of a nightmare. I immediately called them trying to correct the situation promptly. I got nowhere on the phone, with the foreign person telling me they would 'talk to the supervisor' and get back to me. They never did. Instead they sent another email saying "MY" order had been cancelled! (It wasn't my order, you i****s!) They also said my account was "flagged" and I should change my email address and my password. Are you kidding??? UM, NO! They actually tried to punish me for their stupidity. (I have lived at my address in NH for over 25 years, and had my email address for almost 20. The person who actually ordered has the same name, but lives in TEXAS. I have never lived in TX). In addition. the person who actually ordered this merchandise has still not been informed that their order was cancelled because they emailed me instead of to the email address of the 'orderer'! All this has just happened this week. In addition to trying to resolve this by phone and getting nowhere, I emailed them multiple times, also to no avail. I found the email address of their LEGAL DEPT. and I have just emailed not only customer care but also the legal dept. and demanded that they completely DELETE MY ACCOUNT, AND ALL MY INFORMATION from their site. If I don't receive confirmation of this, we will have our attorney contact them. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. STRONGLY ADVISE that you buy elsewhere.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

Unfortunately, our investigation has revealed that this account was compromised by an unauthorized individual on the web. The order was placed through our website after the perpetrator gained access to the customer's account and changed the shipping address. The credit card information used to make the purchase matched the billing address associated with the account, which raises the possibility that it was stolen. The order was shipped to an unknown address under the name of ***********************. Our customer service representative tried to assist the customer in resolving the issue, but the customer was not receptive to our agent's suggestions. Please note that this was not a result of an error made by our representative; the entire transaction was conducted through the website and not over the phone. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this unfortunate situation.I did attempt to call and emailed *********************** to notify her to change her password to safeguard herself from further exposure. Her last known legitimate order for our products was placed on Amazon.
