This 3rd party affiliate is a scam! I bought 2 tickets to the Ultimate Doors experience at Frog Alley Brewery for $159.00 plus a service fee of $46.91 for a grand total of $205.91 . I asked for a refund but was denied! I mistakenly thought that was the rate. But went to the official website for tickets and the 2 tickets were only $10 and a $6.91 service fee for only $16.91 . This was by universe a ticket master company. This is totally unacceptable! I would like to be refunded my purchase!Box Office Ticket Sales

Box Office Ticket Sales is a leader in the secondary ticket market. All orders must be authorized by a consumer and the authorization includes accepting an itemization of costs associated with their order along with accepting the terms and conditions of the purchase which clearly state we are a resale marketplace and that ticket prices may exceed face value.Review fromxuehong Z

I ordered a presale ticket for the Joker Xue concert at Barclays Center in New York on February 17th at 8:00 PM from the BoxOffice Ticket Sales website on December 11th. I purchased seats in Section 13, Row 08, and I have to wait until February 15th to know if I will get these specific seats. However, I noticed that there is an additional service fee of $394.71 and a mandatory insurance fee of $108.29 included in the ticket cost. I raised objections to these fees and requested a refund because I ended up paying nearly three times the market price for this ticket. Despite contacting customer service, they refused to process a refund.Box Office Ticket Sales

Box Office Ticket Sales has transparent pricing. All fees including the price of tickets, service fees, delivery fees and any applicable taxes are clearly itemized at checkout and must be agreed to by all customers including this one before authorizing their purchase online. The time to question these fees was before completing the checkout process and not afterwards. Additionally this customers claim that they paid mandatory insurance is 100% false. This is a voluntary expense which the customer would have had to select. Lastly as our terms and conditions state this customer agreed to tickets in Section 13 Row 8 and they are guaranteed to receive these tickets, equivalent or better seats as controlled by the seller responsible for delivering and fulfilling their purchaseReview fromBeth B.

Garbage. If I could leave a zero I would. They rip you off. Charge ridiculous prices for events. I fell victim to thinking I was buying tickets from Ticketmaster. Somehow trying to buy these tickets I clicked on something and went down a rabbit hole that brought me to Box Office Ticket Sales. This company has made it their business to rip you off and overcharge. They are a terrible company but have made it their profession to rip people off legally. They provide their cancelation policies after and in fine print after you make the purchase. Since my mistake I have read terrible reviews of them not providing tickets, bogus tickets, and an overall rip off in prices. The only positive reviews are from their own website. Buyers be aware. Don’t fall victim to their scam. I bought tickets from them by mistake. Disputed with my credit card company. Spent countless hours on phone and providing information only to have my credit card close my case not in my favor. All because they have a tiny disclosure after you buy the tickets. And because I disputed with my credit card company Box Office Ticket Sales are no longer giving me access to my tickets and still having to pay a ridiculous amount of money for tickets I have no access to. But only from reputable sources for all of your events. Not trash like this.

Box Office Ticket Sales is a leading resale marketplace. This disclaimer is front and center on every page of our website. In addition, all customers including this one must agree to an itemization of costs associated with their purchase along with agreeing to additional website terms and conditions which clearly state all sales are final. This customer did all of the above. Our customers bold accusations are false and in fact they are attempting to commit friend fraud against our company. First they were given a courtesy refund for the service fees they paid on 12/15/23, they were transferred their tickets on 1/5/24 and then proceeded to file a chargeback with their credit card company on 1/9/24. This is a clear case of buyers remorse and now this consumer is trying to get everything without paying for tickets. This review is frivolous and should be closed immediatelyBeth B.

You are absolutely right. I regret running into your website on accident and making a purchase 3 times the price of an actual legitimate ticket. When I realized what I had done I purchased my tickets through Ticketmaster. My ticket from Ticketmaster was electronically sent to me immediately upon purchase. You don’t have to wait for your ticket. That isn't a normal process. You guys overcharge hundreds of dollars for terrible seats. You create the illusion you are accredited. You are not. You are not even associated with the BBB. Total scam artists. And I stand behind my statement and accusations 100%. You can say you put out a disclosure of your cancellation policy but you have nothing to say about the mark ups of the cost of your tickets for events. It is robbery and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Absolute garbage as I said before. Stay away from these monsters

I filed a comp[laint a week ago about being scammed for $508.00 when I tried to buy two $120.00 tickets at a local theatre. never any reply from them I called my bank and they tried to stop the scam. Looks like no one cares about doing anything about these crooks as all of these complaints are the same Thanks for nothing!!Box Office Ticket Sales

I agree with the majority of the other reviews. The mark up and fees associated with purchasing tickets is ridiculous. Thinking that I too was talking to the appropriate venue, I couldn't understand why my total was going to be over twice the amount that I expected. I asked several questions and was given answers that may not have been lies but were definitely misleading.
I understand that the government is proposing to make businesses that have hidden fees and agendas like this more accountable in the future. I certainly hope that this is the case. Too many people are being charged more than double the actual price of desired tickets and committing to it before realizing their error.Box Office Ticket Sales

I purchased tickets days prior to an event for 3 times the ticket value. The company processed the funds and provided notice the tickets would be transferred on the event date. I contacted customer service prior to our 2 hour drive to the event and they claimed to have connected with the seller stating the tickets would be transferred in 1 hour. On arrival, 2 hours later, we still had no tickets. I reconnected with customer service and they cancelled the order due to the ticket sellers failure to transfer. The company was also unable to offer additional tickets to the event or compensate for a 2 hour ride to an event we no longer could attend.
This company has no safeguards in place to protect the end consumer. They did process a refund for monies paid but had no way to guarantee tickets, unacceptable especially when paying higher ticket prices. They claimed to fine the ticket seller, glad they could make money off my terrible experience, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.Box Office Ticket Sales

This company is a rip off business that preys on unknowing individuals.
They have paid Google to be seen at a top of a venue search, making you believe you are speaking to the venue.
This company then pretends to be reputable and puts an astronomical market up on a ticket.
My elderly father in law was charged $750 for 2 tickets to a concert which the tickets were $97 each on Ticketmaster. They charged $250 per ticket, a $153 mark up above ticket price. The company then charged a 30% Service charge on top of the crazy ticket price.
When I called and told them my elderly father and law was unaware what he was doing I was told they didn’t care and all tickets were final. When I asked to speak with their legal department the backpedaling began.

Box Office Ticket Sales is a resale marketplace. Every page of our website states that we sell tickets above face value. The checkout process is a multi step process which requires individuals to enter their name, address , phone number, credit card information and to review, verify and authorize and itemization of costs associated with their purchase. All customers including this one have to agree to this process and we simply don't agree that a customer didn't know what they were doing when they agreed to all of the items we highlighted here.Review fromJoe D

As is mentioned several times in these complaints, I was led to believe I was speaking with the venue - in this case, TD Garden Box office. I asked specifically and was told "yes". by the representative. While I DID agree to the terms, etc. It was ONLY with the expressed verbalization I was dealing with the TD Garden, box office, the site of the event. It was ONLY with this belief, that I agreed to the price of the tickets. If they had been honest about being resellers, I'd have check pricing elsewhere. Additionally, when I told them I was in the market for the best possible seats, I was told "since they are the 'box office', they had better seat options than Ticketmaster". This statement also led me to believe I was speaking directly with the venue.
Box Office Ticket Sales uses language and facts loosely, that are knowingly FALSE, and then attempts to cloak themselves in "but you agreed" - when in FACT, they misrepresented themselves to both me and everyone on this site.
After discovering they were not who they claimed to be, I asked them to cancel the purchase. A firm "NO". I was even willing to purchase again FROM THEM at the price that Ticketmaster would have charged with their fees - which was almost 200.00 LESS. This company and these people are heartless thieves.
Credit Card Companies are unable to cancel the charge once the tickets have been sent to the recipient. I had attempted to cancel before the tickets were sent, but they arrived almost immediately after the purchase. Box Office Ticket Sales knows this and uses this tactic to make reimbursement impossible.
It would be bad enough if this were a personal purchase, but I called to book tickets for a 501c3 charity in order to send a family struggling with illness to see a show. As a result of these unscrupulous characters, the charity is out the upcharge in which other people in need could have been helped.
PLEASE DO NOT give BOX OFFICE TICKET SALES a $1.00's worth of business.Box Office Ticket Sales
