I participated in a focus group on December 1st. I received an email after the study that the incentive points were added to my wallet. I redeemed it for a virtual reward card on December 1, 2023. Ten days after I redeemed my points for the virtual **** card and I still hadn't received it. I looked up the FAQ's and it said "during busy times it can take upto 10 business days", it has now been twenty days since I completed the study and THIRTEEN BUSINESS DAYS! I emailed the reward center and they replied that they can't see it and I need to contact the company I am receiving the reward from, which is this company. Why am I getting the run around?! I did everything asked of me and agreed to do so in exchange for $225 incentive. I did my part of the agreement, now you should do your part. request number *******Business Response

I have currently been waiting for my incentives from Nov 26th to be added to my Schlesinger Virtual card like I requested. They both (2 surveys, totaling $115) have been "processing" to the card since then. I email, and get the general form response telling me to call a number no one answers or checks. I leave voicemails that are seemingly ignored. It's not the company I did the study for, which you claim I need to contact them first... Their part is fulfilled. It's Focus Group's ball, and you seem to be interested in resolving the situation. I've been calling and emailing since Dec 2nd. I participated in the study *********** over a month ago. I finally received the incentive email on 12/3/23. I chose my payment method as a virtual visa and was told it could take up to 10 days. I have still not gotten my payment. This is unacceptable and from what I’m reading it is a trend. It takes long enough to get the incentive email to just choose your payment method. It should be like other businesses and pay immediately, especially if it’s a virtual payment!Business Response

I participated in 2 research studies at the Iselin location on 12/01/23 and 12/03/23. I redeemed my points for a virtual gift card which says up to 10 business days to receive but when I first signed up for the study, it said 3-5 business days. I have been emailing about not receiving my virtual gift cards, one for $130 and one for $140, but no one has responded and it’s been over 10 business days and I have not received my compensation. This is bad for business. I held up my end of the agreement and have patiently waited.Business Response

I signed up for a study with META where it was advertised that I would receive $275 for participation in the study upon completion. After completing the study, the funds were put into a wallet that could be redeemed for a virtual visa gift card through Schlesinger Group. I redeemed the gift card and ever since the payment has been stuck on "processing" for over two weeks. I sent two emails to the support email linked, days apart, and both were met with no reply whatsoever. I would just like to receive my money as it would be very helpful during the holiday season. I was contacted to participate in an Online discussion about Rental Property. I completed that on Nov 27.
As part of this I was going to get a Gift Card of my choice.
I chose Walmart, and the amount was $200.00.
I was told to wait 10 business days. I did.
Here we are, after contacting the person who called me, I was told Friday 12/15 EOD, I would have it.
I still dont have it.
I would like them to process my gift card. I gave my time, was on time for the interview, and waiting going on a month is ridiculous.Business Response

I did a focus group at the end of November, I received incentive points on 12/8 and redeemed them the same day for a $450 ************ card and its now 12/19 and I have yet to receive an email with the card and the status online is still processing. *** reached out to the help desk via email and phone call to see what is the delay, as my reward from October only took 3 days to process. I have yet to get a response. I just want the money I was promised for my time. I finally revived some sort of reply by reaching out to the coordinator on the focus group, but she stated she would reach out to the help desk, as *** already did. This is the 2nd time the SAME issue has happened with this company. And EXACTLY as before, I have called, emailed, called, emailed, called and called multiple times but these shady f's have insulated themselves with auto reply emails and automated voicemail attendants to the point that I'm starting to wonder if computers and robots run this company. To my complaint. And it's basic. And it's like groundhog day with these people. I took part in a focus group in October. It's December. Where's the $70 I was promised?? 2-months? Now....the same EXACT thing happened in March of this year and I eventually got paid in AUGUST!!?? Please just pay me like send me an email link with an actual, working, fully 'processed'(?) **** gift card for the $70 I was promised. Please. Sorry I had to resort to a public BBB message board for this but since nobody returned my phone call, or my other phone call, or replied to my first 3 emails, I had no other choice.Business Response

Hello. My name is ***. I participated in 2 studies through Sago. (Formally known as Schlesinger Group). I successfully completed these 2 studies. I correctly received my point rewards on November 21, 2023 and November 24, 2023. I submitted on November 21, my points for the Shopping Study I participated in for a virtual **** gift card worth 175 dollars. On Sago website, it clearly and specifically states I would receive Virtual **** at up to 10 business days. It is now December 18, 2023 and I have not received virtual **** Gift card. It shows that it is still processing. On November 24,2023, I put in my points for a ************************************************************************************* and received points for. It is now December 18, 2023 and that Virtual **** gift card is also still processing. These are well over the 10 business days that Sago website clearly states, and in all the paperwork I had to complete to participate in studies, that **** says I would receive redemptions in maximum of 10 business days. It is now 18 business days and I have not received any of my redemptions. I have sent emails and messages to both Sago and the recruiters who approved me for studies, with no response.
