I wouldn't be complaining had it not been for my neighbor who heard the same thing as I did. Your former employee, *********************************** told each of us that we would get an EPP of $2100 for me, and $1100 for my neighbor, ***************************, plus $750 each for a referral. ****** explained that this could be used to pay against what we would be owing for the panels, or that we could receive it in cash, which I assume would be sent to each of our bank accounts, or a check. We asked if it was the tax credit, and he said this was different than that.When I call your main office, no one there knows anything about an EPP. I want to know immediately what he means/meant. What does EPP stand for? I expect an answer before Tuesday, when the panels are to be installed.*************************Customer Answer

And in speaking with ***************************, the Project Manager, I will be receiving an EPP check for $2100 and a referral check in the amount of $750, as stated by the original salesperson.This resolves the full issue that I had with Momentum Solar.

One of the ***** ******** just came to my home in *********. His Momentum Solar van has the number TECL3115 on the driver side front fender. I have full HD video of him on our front porch blatantly hitting on my wife over & over again, despite her repeatedly mentioning that she is married and that he needs to speak with me about the solar. He went so far as to say that she can text him on his personal cell tonight after hours because he doesn't have his kid and he will be up playing Call of Duty, having a couple of "brewskis" and sipping on some Crown. My wife is DISTRAUGHT. He made her so uncomfortable. I have full HD footage right there in his face of him harassing my wife and hitting on her then inviting her to text him after hours.Business Response

We agreed to have solar installed on our home. The price and terms were fair. They agreed to a one time remove and replace if needed during the 25 year warranty period. We asked for this over and over after signing the agreement and as of Sept. 1st we still had not received it but they installed anyway with the understanding the letter was coming. Finally on Sept 14th ************************************************************** BOLD non Transferable. I told Momentum that is not what was agreed to and if I had received this before the install I would have canceled the deal. After several calls to Momentum still no call back. They are great at Sales and install their after service is horrible. 3 weeks after the install we still have no inspection, no correct letter for remove and replace and no explanation on when the system will be working or when our payments start.Business Response

We accepted to listen the Momentum offer and we loved it, single couple with a highest Light bill of $140. According to their salesman, (last name *******) he said we will only pay $76/month no matter what time of the year it was. They completed installation and something weird happened the JEA technician warned me about double checking my service because Ac, stove and laundry wont be part of the solar energy, I was freaked out because thats what makes our lives easier. Long story short we are paying more money than ever $190 + $76. We really need help now that we have a new born. We were deceived by the Momentum Solar sales man, and were even told we would get $1000 from the solar panel company and $1000 from JEA. We received the check from JEA, but nothing from Momentum even after reaching out to them multiple times. This company is abusing their consumers and getting away with it! I called to have solar panels put back on my house after some construction was done. They were scheduled to come on august 12th. They never showed, so I called for an update on their arrival. I was told that I would get a call back with an update. It never came. I called the next day to complain about the lack of communication. I was told I would get a months compensation. I was told an update would be given by Tuesday 8/16. I did not receive an update as promised and had to call for an update. My solar panels were put back on during this time. The update was that the request was sent to the accounting department. By 9/8, I had still not received a check in the mail and had to call again for an update. I was told it had not been sent to accounting and i should receive it in 5-7 business days. As of 9/19 I had not received a check. I called again on 9/20 asking for an update. I was told the accounting manager was gone for the day and I could receive a call back on 9/21. I never received that call. Essentially my complaint is the lack of communication and follow through on the end of the company.Business Response

We purchased a solar system from Momentum in April 2022. We paid the initial bill (over $9000) on June 6, 2022. Installation happened early June. Installation was done incorrectly and the system did not function. They were a new crew and worked until 9 pm - it was chaos. Since it was dark, we could not test the system. In the morning, we learned it did not work. The panels were placed incorrectly and there was roof damage. We informed Momentum. We got no response about fixing these issue until we went on the roof ourselves and took pictures and sent them. In August a team corrected the errors (panels in the wrong place/roof damage, etc). Since then we have been waiting for Momentum to schedule all the necessary inspections so we can move forward and actually have solar power. We email and call and no results. We missed the entire summer of solar collection! On 8/11 someone called and said they would schedule the inspection ASAP. That was weeks ago! Yesterday we got a letter saying they put a lien on our home. It isn't completed and we have zero faith in this company so why would we give them the rest of the money? They can put a lien on us but we have no recourse! I called our building inspector and they have not heard from them. We are so frustrated and need some help getting this resolved. At this point we wish they would take the system off and repay us but then we would have a damaged roof and no solar! We would like 1) finish the job by getting the necessary inspections immediately, 2) remove the lien asap, 3) receive an apology from their management team for wasting our time and causing frustration, and 4) financial restitution for days of work missed when they canceled and when they had to come back to repair. Please help us! We are trying to do the right thing by getting solar and Momentum has no accountability. We have never experienced such poor service in all our years as home owners!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Although Momentum has finally completed the installation, their response does not address compensation for1. 4 month installation process that only was completed because we complained and we missed months of solar generation.
2. 3 missed work days for me because momentum scheduled and didn't show up.
3. hours of phone calling, texting, and emailing to get Momentum to respond to us, show up, and complete the process. This was very stressful and frustrating and it did not need to be. If they had shown some concern for us that would have gone a long way. All they wanted was payment for work they had not completed.
Also - we want proof that the lien was removed.

I keep getting calls from these people on a daily basis harrassing me to buy their product, or they just stay silent on their end. I can hear typing and other noises, but they dont respond to me saying anything. I block their number, but get called again the next day from a different number.Business Response

My solar panel installation failed the initial inspection at the beginning of the month. I was told by the company rep that was here when it failed that there would be another insurrection the next week. No one had showed up since. I've contacted the company rep that initially sold the system to me, (he promised to be here through the whole process), and he's not responding. Also I've emailed the company and received no response. Communication is very important to me and I'm getting none. I have no idea what is actually going on with the process despite being promised that it would always be clear as to what is happening.Business Response

Solar array (59 panels) and solar battery installed in 2018. In July of 2022 I had to have the panels removed so the roof could be replaced. Even though I had the letter/coupon for one time removal and replacement given to me at installation I was contacted twice about payment before they could schedule. I had to delay roof replacement twice before in order to resolve resulting in additional damage to my home from leaks. Panels were finally removed and the roof was replaced. I called Momentum and was told that they could not reinstall the panels until the "roof settled" for two months. I asked the roofer (also a solar installation company) about this and they told me they had never heard anything like that before. I was finally able to get the reinstallation scheduled for September 14th. On the reinstallation day no one showed up and no one contacted me. I called customer service and was told that they would check on the problem and retuned my call. No return call. I called the next day and was told that they were checking with the technical team but they had many other jobs scheduled and the reason they did not come the day before was because it was raining, I have security camera footage to the contrary. On the 15th of September they showed up at 2pm in the afternoon to complete this very large job (59 panels). They worked for about 1 hour and they left because of rain (******* in the afternoon) stating they would return the next morning. On September 16th no show, no call. I have now been without the solar system that they were paid to install and maintain for over 45 days since the roof was replaced. I have asked to escalate this to management but to date have note been contacted. Each time they no show, no call I have called them and received a promise to contact me shortly with details, no return calls. At this point I want them to prioritize this job and return the system to full operation.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Previously filed a complaint and as long as the complaint was active the company was engaged and worked to resolve. We agreed to a strategy to resolve the remaining issues and I agreed to sign the complaint as resolved. Since that time the company has once again gone silent and has not honored the agreed to solution/plan. The solar battery installed by Momentum has not been operational in three months. They were supposed to contact the manufacturer or a local dealer to resolve the issue but have not done anything in over a month. I want them to be as proactive in resolution as they were when the previous complaint was open in resolving this issue. I expect the unit to be returned to full service and expect compensation for loss of use and electric bills incurred during the system out of service.

Contracted with solar to which they told me they can install and get solar up and running. We have hit nothing but roadblocks along the way to which momentum continues to say "not us sir". They Informed me they would cover utility bill until switch was on and running. They still will not do this. There is nobody to contact and nobody returns calls. At no time did this organization inform me that the info stated was incorrect. They continued to delay and verbalize the company's "looking into the matter" I understand you are not empowered to really do anything other than mediate but as long as the tag remains so that potential clients can take time to see that this individual is lying and I have provided clear and conside timelined in writing text to support my stance.. im ok with it.. maybe the company should be more careful in their statements of promise, cautioned on lying when their is indisputable proof, and considerate of their clients
