      I had an appointment with a salesperson with Momentum Solar on June 13, 2022 - they did not show up, I called and was told that they were hung up somewhere and they would send someone later at 5:00PM -- at 5:30 no show, I called and told them not to send anyone - he showed up anyway at 6:00. I should have known at that point not to use them. I was told by the salesman that one battery would run my whole house in a power outage - I found out later that this was not true. The communication and scheduling are a complete disaster with this company - they don't come when they say they will and do not communicate. It wasn't until the panels were on the roof and part of the back up battery was installed that they told me that the battery would not run my whole house, just a limited amount of circuits - that is the entire reason I went with this bid and now it's too late not to move forward. They have been out 4 times and are not finished yet. I can't get a straight answer from anyone as to when this will be completed. They were supposed to come today and finish (this would have been trip #5) and they did not show up. Customer service says it wasn't on the schedule today. I have to begin paying on this system that isn't event completed. I have been lied to about the capacity of the battery and given the run around with scheduling. They offered to send the amount of the first 3 months of payments - I haven't received that yet, surprise - at this point that is not enough. They need train their sales staff on the capabilities of their systems and they need clear communication of next steps and how long the process takes with a time table of what to expect. I am a fair and reasonable person and it takes a lot to make me angry, and I am very angry.

      Momentum Solar sold us solar panels with the commitment that the panels would cover our energy needs. We have had the panels for a year and there has not been one month in which the panels have covered our usage. This has resulted in our monthly energy costs being considerably higher than before. Additionally we purchased a battery backup that we were told would cover our whole house. In the last month we had our first electrical outage and we did not have full coverage. There were parts of the house that had electricity that was not needed and other areas that had no coverage that was critical. We have called the company numerous times. They promise someone will call to schedule someone to come fix the issue and no one ever calls. They dont return messages. They even sent me an email saying they were too busy to help me. One person told me they were in the business of making money, not serving customers. We are at the end of our rope and need any help you can provide. Thank you.

However, Mr. and *************** are on vacation until the first week of October. Momentum explained that we will call them to review our findings as soon as they are back from vacation.

      The electrical panel for our backup battery wasn't set up correctly, making our backup battery almost useless in case of a grid outage. Momentum has been refusing to come out and connect the right circuits at its own expense.

      I purchased a solar system to be installed and activated by Momentum Solar. The system was installed in June 2022. During the installation there was damage done to our property, the pool enclosure screen was damaged. Momentum sent a team to inspect the damage and we were told by that team to expect someone to call us within a week to arrange for repairs. Since then, no one will return our calls, or texts. Our Momentum representative ********************* will not answer the phone.There are two issues which need to be addressed.1. The damage to the property needs to be repaired and the costs covered by Momentum Solar.2. Our solar system is still not functional. We would like to be compensated for the 2 months our solar system has not been functional due to the delays and inactivity of Momentum to arrange for the necessary inspections. We have been making payments on a system that is still not working. We are currently waiting for the electrical company to make the necessary connections, but that would be done already had Momentum finished the job in a timely manner.

      We signed up with Momentum Solar in April of 2022. It is now September of 2022 and all we have is panels on top of our barn. We have reached out to our representative multiple times and nothing comes from it besides more ignoring. At this point, I just want to panels removed and not do business with Momentum. I would not recommend this company.

      Momentum has been working with the customer to resolve their concerns. As of 9/14, the trench has been completed and the main panel upgrade is scheduled for Monday 9/19. Once the panel upgrade is completed, we can schedule inspections.

      Auto Dialer continues to make unsolicited calls to my mobile device upwards of 5 - 10 times a day. I have requested multiple times for them to cease and desist to no avail. Requested to be removed from their call list still not stopping. This company had a Class Action lawsuit brought against them in 2019 over this. They are still up to no good.

      Signed up for the Solar with a Momentum Rep in March of 2022, the solar was finally installed on 5-27-22, the company dragged and dragged on the inspection after about 30 calls the inspection took place on 8-19-22 after 3 cancellation. Here i am as of 8-30-22 summer is coming to an end and i am still awaiting to have the electric company to switch the meter, no other information, and representative states that they do not have an ETA on when this would be done. I was also approved for a commission check and was advised by the sales rep the check will be sent out in two weeks in the month of March 2022, here we are 5 months going into 6 months later and I am being told by the 13th representative that the check is still with the accounting department. This company has not been honest, everything said by the sales representative has been completely the opposite of what is has taken place and at this point i want to get out from this company, this is the worst i have ever dealt with.

      I contracted with Momentum Solar 12/14/21 to redo my roof and install solar panels on my roof. The cost of this was $75,000. In that time Momentum Solar subcontractors redid my roof. Although it only took a few weeks for them to install the roof, it took months for them to finish as they dragged their feet every step of the way repairing the many holes soffit and leaks in the roof they created. Ultimately it took getting them to come out 4 times to finish the job. During this time they left the dumpster half filled in my driveway for months.On June 5th they finally began to install the panels. In the 80 days since the panels have still not been activated.After some time waiting, I called in and got them to schedule the inspector to come out. I was told the earliest time would be July 18th as there was backlog now. They had not called for the inspection until I called to complain.On July 18th the install was certified by the city. Since this time I have been calling and emailing every day between Nationalgrid and Momentum Solar. Nationalgrid is waiting on documents from Momentum Solar that they said could have been sent since the project began. This is very frustrating. I have now been making payments on panels I can't use by a company who does not care about finishing the job.Run from Momentum Solar.

      Although momentum solar responded to the complaint and offered to pay back some of the money in regards to the delay. they were once again disingenuous with dealing with me. I was told the work would be completed yesterday. This did not happen. No one called me. No one did anything.  On reaching out I was told the documents submitted by momentum solar to national grid were rejected. When I called momentumsolar about this they told me that the work would be completed next Tuesday. This is a ridiculous way for a company to operate and I cannot believe that they reached out to mark this resolved when it is anything but.

      This is just another in a long string of responses from them claiming they are making progress but not providing any.  Last Friday they told me this would be finished today.  Today they tell me it maybe finished in 10 business days. This is ridiculous.  It should not take a whole year to install and activate solar panels in *************. It is also clear to me they keep trying to resolve the complaint without doing anything.  I hope some one from the BBB is reading this and not just momentumsolar

Still waiting for them to verify bracket issue, and resolve issue with damages for panels not being setup on time or correctly at first.

      although the work is completed and resolved. I am not satisfied with the result. As I communicated to the company previously, the company's behavior was unacceptable over months and months. this required an unreasonable level of rudeness from me to move the project forward as well as constant pestering.  I am now being told that I can be reimbursed ****** for the delay in service activation, and require me to sign an nda to receive that.  I reject this.  I am incredibly disappointed to the resolution to this project.

      Solar panels were put on my house end of March, beginning of April. At that time we were aware that our roof was old, but were continually told that it was good. Four months later our roof is bad, insurance has done a total loss, with a loss date of March 21st. And on top of them installing panels on a bad roof, they left drill holes without filling them. My husband and I have reached out to the company about our concerns with a combination of 4 phone calls and an email. We have yet to be contacted about this issue. We are constantly being told that a message has been sent to two mangers and they are reviewing the problem. I truly just want an answer. I have money in hand to replace my roof but I am waiting on them to give me answers. I have a free removal and reinstall, but I dont think that I should have to use it since I should have been told my roof needed to be replaced before the panel were placed on my house.

      This is my first time I have ever filed a complaint, I was contacted by several, I mean a lot of solar companies when I bought my first house. I chose Momemtum/IGS because of the rate they promised and the fact that I will be paying for the solar I generate rather than a loan in my name to pay for the solar panels. Momemtum guaranteed a 3-6months discount/voucher for signing up with Momentum Solar. My panels went live in March because I noticed my utility bill dropped, so I was expecting a bill from the solar company. I contacted Momentum in April and they told me IGS will send me a bill. I called IGS several times inquiring about my bill and they kept telling me they are waiting on final approvals from Momentum. I just received a bill in August for $1,144.37, almost like my mortgage. I called IGS immediately the customer service did not have answer where the mixed up was, promised me a supervisor will call because he has not seen a customer being sent such a high bill. It has been 2 weeks no call from IGS. I called Momemtum customer service they also has no answer for such a high bill or the 3-6months voucher they promised. I just want people to know how these people operate, they take your bank information and they are able to do whatever they want. Where is the savings they promised going solar will bring. I have filed a complaint from ********** also to dispute this charge. I wanted to do the right thing for the environment, cut my energy bill like they promised but to pay $1,144.37 for my first bill is unbelievable.

      IGS has confirmed with Momentum that the first four months of service have been refunded to the customer. IGS has sent an e-mail to the customer letting them know that all but last months charges have been credited with a refunded receipt attached to the email notification. The account has been credited as an act of good faith because the charges were valid.
