  They came to me offering the system, I asked for information. Had to short my answer:2 weeks after he shows up again and came with a proposal: I gave him a three month bill (I only had been living in my house for 3 months) with 7,000KWH and he has a project to cover ***** KWH yearly and having myself pay 60 dollars to Trinity and 33 to Met ** for a total of 93( approximately. He shows me the main bullet points of the amazing *************************************** if I were to cancel before that and the panels would never be mine and I wouldnt get the government credit either.I told him I was kind of busy to read all that right now to read all the docs and needed some time for it and he said: ************ and you will have 7 business days to cancel it in case you need to. I signed.Next day I have some time to review the project and realized that the *****KWH WAS MEANT TO BE PRODUCED IN 1 YEAR. which means that these panels they were installing for $15k+ were not going to be enough even for a 3 month use of my electric bill. I told him about this and he said: oh no its okay we can always add more panels (I wonder why dont you do it since the beginning? You know this wouldnt cover my electric bill since my yearly consumption is projected to be ****** KWh).This guy started using words like: it should be okay, trust me, trust me in this one, everything will be fine, etc words people use whenever they do not have facts for what they are saying. He tried to force me to continue and when I said NO several times he started cursing and cursing, I was amazed seeing this guy I just met selling me this company tone a reputable one, but having someone so unprofessional working for them who denotes how bad and unreliable this company is.Ill be doing my project in the future, I know how it works, but I know more which company I shouldnt do this with and it is Trinity Solar. This *************** up on me saying the last words: Thanks for wasting my f****** time

  I met with ******************************* from Trinity Solar. I also referred my mom to him after our visit. ******* made me comfortable during the visit because he was very relatable. He was also very informative and answered all of my questions . One of the things that made me comfortable was that we took a picture together to save as our profile for contacts and even after the visit he was always available to answer additional questions.

  ***, was extremely helpful, *** contacted Sunnova with my issue. Sunnova called me within 30 minutes after *** contacting them. My problem is not solved, not sure when it will be solved! My system is not working at all, the technician from Sunnova turn off my system, I am told its PENDING, not happy with Sunnova.MEC

  These people are coming by at 815 at night to try and pitch sales. Who comes by houses that have all their lights off and that late trying to sell stuff.

  This review is based solely on the behavior of the salesman and the panel installers. My bf and I were recommended a Trinity salesman from a friend. We were going to go with them regardless, but wanted to make sure. The first visit was a little odd with him taking pictures of things around our home (he asked my bf; I would've said no) and sending them to his wife and coworkers. He seemed very preoccupied with his phone and said it's due to how communicative he is with all of his customers. This is actually funny because we never heard from him again after he got the sale, even after saying that he would be there for the install. The next visit was weirder. He was one upping everything that I was saying during the convo which was off putting and obviously phony. He promoted his unfunny Twitch channel, showed us clips, and then got annoyed at me for being too slow at typing my email address for contact info because he was running late after his "performance". The roofers that came were great and worked dilligently. The solar panel installers that came seemed unprofessional. The electrician was complaining about them getting breakfast rather than arriving at the job promptly. During the installation, they wanted to run conduit across the roof between panel banks, and their alternative was to move the solar panels closer together which would have made the conduit shorter but may have impacted production. They claimed that it would have made no difference but my bf didnt want to change something on the fly which was written into the plans that were presented to us esp after the salesman INSISTED they wouldn't run conduit. I thought they were done that day but then two workers came unannounced to go up on the roof last week without even ringing the doorbell! Don't assume ppl are not home. I hope this does save us $ b/c dealing with them so far was not the best experience. I think Trinity needs to train their workers on basic social skills and professionalism desperately.

  I had a great representative who educated ** and kept us informed every step of the way. Over a year later she still checks in to see if we have any questions or concerns. The install was pretty smooth and I've save a bunch of money in energy. Our system is performing better than expected! Rebates are amazing right now- best time to switch to solar!   The positive, the guys who put the system on my roof and in my garage were great. The negative, the rest of the company does not have the same integrity as the installers. I can never get a straight answer from anyone. I signed my contract in Sept 2022. Took 6 months for installation to start, final inspection on 6/2/23 and I cannot get an answer on when system will be functioning. *******, who is the company you pay for the panels, has started billing for the system and does not care that it is not functioning. They claim since the system is on and in house, it is complete so now I am paying a full electric bill as well as equipment costs. Neither Sunnova nor Trinity seem to care that to the one paying for the system, the contractual word "complete" means functioning. If you are looking for customer service and quick service, DO NOT USE TRINITY SOLAR. I have over 25 years of management experience and I CANNOT believe this company can be in business with the level (or lack) of service I have received. From my experience so far with Trinity and Sunnova, this is just a scam and unfortunately, I fell for it.   We were sold a solar system in 2014 with promises of regular monitoring and repair using the SolarEdge monitoring system. This year I noticed that the panels were not producing regularly for the last several months (since Sep 2022). When this happened in the past, they would send someone in a few days for a repair, although no explanation was provided for the lack of monitoring. This time after contacting Trinity Solar several times, my wife was told on the phone that they could not diagnose anything remotely and would charge ** $215 per hour + tax with no time estimate for what it would cost ** to fix the problem. They claim to be one of the largest solar companies in the northeast and wanted to troubleshoot the problem on our dime. When I pushed back and asked their salesperson and customer service rep for more details on the warranty, I was told that our service warranty was only for five years. They would have to send someone to look into the issue for $125 per hour + tax, but they still could not estimate how long it would take to fix the problem. Miraculously the labor rates had dropped, but when I asked them to share the warranty information, they asked me to find it myself in my records. Interestingly, they continue to send me emails asking me to refer other customers to them. I want to warn other customers before buying anything from this company. I am now switching the monitoring and repair work to other, more honest companies that care about their customers and want more business.

It seems your labor warranty has expired which is what prompted the service costs. We will remain available for any solar needs you have.
