    On 9/11/23, I got a letter in the mail stating: Student Loan Consolidation and Payment Reduction Program Prepared for: [MY NAME] - New Laws Discounting Federal Student Loans and had my exact amount of my loans. During the phone call to the number listed *************) the individual on the phone told me my payments would be consolidated after making the initial one-time payment of $799, and that a $49 payment each month would be taken out of my account over the course of 26 months to cover my student loans. After making the call and jumping through hoops to get the paperwork delivered, I established the withdrawal process with my bank. At that time, they informed me I would have to repeatedly enter into forbearance in order for them to effectively make the payments. I have had the payment taken from my account each month that has passed, even overdrawing several times to make the payment. Now, 11 months later, my loans are consolidated. HOWEVER, NO PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE BY SUPERIOR SERVICING since signing the contract on 10/16/23. Additionally, I now have almost $500 in interest that has accrued during this time due to their lack of payments. To top it off, I tried reaching out to the company using the information provided in the initial letter only to find that the phone number AND website (nslds.ed.gov) are no longer in service.

    Superior Services reached out to me via mail letter around January 2024 and I was promised a bill of $49/month for 240 months toward my student debt. The remaining debt after the 240 month would then be forgiven. In order to start the process, three installments of $366.33 were required for a total of $1099. First payment was Jan 12 2024, second payment Jan 26 2024, third payment Feb 9 2024. The $49/month would then start on Feb 23rd , and continue on the 23rd of every month. Under the impression that this was a government entity, and not a third party, I trusted the process all the way. After receiving multiple notices from ** ********* I figured something was up. I then did some research and found a lot of identical complaints against Superior Services. I then called ** ********* my real servicer and they told me there has been no payments made on my end, despite making payments to Superior Service. learned that I could have set up my own $50/month payment plan without paying $1,099 to Superior Services.Myself and a lot of people have been mislead by this fraudulent company with a real well script. They keep charging me 49$ each month for a service I dont know what is. Another red flag was them asking for my ** financial info for access. Have to contact my banks now to stop those payments and pray to get the money refunded. i was doing bad before them and now im worse because of them because all the money i paid is lost and didnt even count. They even have my Routing N so is going to be extra hard to get that money refunded if is possible. I have paid them around 1500$ since i started this past January.

    "Superior Servicing" LLC will contact you through the mail in an attempt to get you to contact them back in regards to your student loans in order to consolidate, lower the monthly interest, and price your payments based upon your income. Sounds like a sweetheart dream of a deal, right? Well, this company deals in anything but dreams because they only deal in financial nightmares. There is zero login information to see your current student loan total or payments made. The contract I've seen lists several penalty clauses that would ruin someone for decades if someone were to halt all payments or refuse to continue business with "Superior Servicing" LLC that is, if they could ever be enforced by a court.I paid $899 upfront over the course of three payments and an additional $49 every month after for 13 months to a grand total of $1,536. Give me my money back, I will not accept you blocking my phone number from your answering service if that is indeed what you have done.Forms Used To Gather Information:OMB No ********* OMB No ********* and also a form asking you to mail everything to:Aidvantage Attn: ********************* *************************************** USA As per the Aidvantage website, the address is as follows:Aidvantage Federal Student Aid Loan Servicing P.O. ************************************ So that means whoever is taking the mail from that ****** P.O. Box is a conspirator in this scam and should be charged as such to the fullest extent of the law. I sure hope you invested my money wisely to pay your cronies because I'm coming for every last bit.

    I was promised that my existing student loans would be consolidated then eventually forgiven by Superior Servicing. I had to make 3 initial payments of $200 then continue to pay $49/month. This did not help my student loan payments whatsoever. They do not do what they promise to do. This is a scam. I have called many times and left voicemails. They have never called me back. I expect a FULL refund for all of the money that has been stolen from me.

    This business contacted me in July of 2023 and they stated they were affiliated with the ********** of ********* for loan consolidation. I received a letter in the mail from them first. They told me about the SAVE plan and I paid $899 in three installments to have my loan consolidated then was told my payments would only be $49 a month. I then found out they were not the ********** of ********* in July of 2024 and had my loans moved to an actual servicer however, I am still being charged the monthly fee from this business. I would like not to be charged anymore and I would like a refund of the money I've been charged.

    They have not called my phone once, nor have they left any voice messages regarding the matter.  When I call them at this number **************, I am sent to voicemail and after a period of waiting eventually disconnection. Not only have I left a voice message. I've sent them a message to this link. - *************************************************; - That stated they do not have my permission and or consent to access my bank account.

He is requesting my address to send a refund. Would you guys please give it to him and confirm. Not only that its received, but that they have put a cease to accessing my account please.

    I spoke with the representative of Superior by the name of Ryan< at #  ****************. He stated that I would receive a refund for $1485. He also tried to slide in the phrasing that payments would be "paused". I immediately questioned that wording, and told **** to "cancel" the account. This happened several times. Before I was told that I would receive my refund basically somewhere between five and fifteen days. I don't know if they canceled my account. Is that something you can confirm?

    Your account will be canceled once the refund has been processed.  As I stated, that is why I told you that your file and payments are paused.     I was trying to sign up for an income driven loan repayment program and I signed a couple prefilled out forms that were sent to my email that I have attached. The company, Superior Servicing LLC, said they will consolidate my loan which they did. They transferred the 4-5 loans I had with Nelnet to EdFinancial into one loan that was $5000 more in total from $87,000 to $92,000. And they asked for a one time payment of $240-250 dollars and they said the remaining amount of my loan would be $13000 and I would have to pay $49 a month for 250 payments. I attached the last payment they took from my account. This is the first time it was a check withdrawal. I called the number on the check and someone answered and didnt say anything. I called back and got a voicemail. They have taken about 10 payments of $49 and the initial $240-250 and my loan balance hasnt changed with edfinancial and they said they are not affiliated with Superior Servicing, LLC at all.

    On August 9th 2024, my ***** bank account approved an electronic check for $49. It said it was electronically signed by me but I did not approve of this at all nor have I ever given them my information.

    I had Superior Servicing stating they would assist me with my student loan payments. I even confirmed with them from the very beginning that the $49 dollar payments I would be making every month would be going towards my student loans and were a student loan payment after I paid an initial $299. However, my loans have not decreased and no payments have been made towards my loans.

    I believe that I was a victim of a third-party loan repayment scam. I have attempted to contact Superior Servicing directly with no response.I was contacted in August of 2023 by ****** at Superior Servicing under the impression that this company assists with student loan relief. When asked if this was affiliated with the Department of ***************** Aid, he said yes and proceeded to tell me information about myself that made me feel like this was legitimate. He had my address, BOTH schools I attended, and a list of my specific loan amount (which I later confirmed). I was told that I needed to apply for the SAVE program via FSA, and in order to consolidate my loans, I needed to pay the interest that has been accruing ($899). He said that he could not help me consolidate my loans with ****** and begin the SAVE program until I paid that interest amount. He told me that once I begin the SAVE program, I will pay $50/ month toward my student loans, and that amount would change based on family size and income. I have been charged $899 and $50/month since October 2023 (to total $1,095) under the impression that I was trying to be a diligent money-borrower and pay back what I owed. If it weren't for the kind, patient, and knowledgeable advice of an EdFinancial agent, I would have never known that people could be so sick. I am not an idiot, but I sure do feel like one.Dear reader, I know what you're thinking. This is a freaking scam. How does she not know this? Well, to answer your question. I searched "Superior Servicing" via the Better Business Bureau and the *** at the time. Nothing alarming came up. No complaints. I am now seeing that I believe that I was one of the victims early on before anyone had caught on to report it.Attached are the documents that I have signed and a timeline of events for your records, complete with phone numbers and emails.
