I had a Turkish airlines flight from ********* to ***** with 6 hours layover in ******** on 6/28/2022. The first leg of the flight was delayed by 5 hours. I was transferring with 2 kids and we needed to wait for the baby stroller, so we missed our second flight When I asked them to get a later flight, they charged me the full price of the tickets for me and my family even though we only missed it because our first flight departed 5 hours late! Also the next available flight was the next morning and they didn't provide accommodation in the airport hotel. So I ended up paying: 1943.40$ for the tickets and 238.18$ for staying in the airport hotel overnight. With total of 2181.58$ because of the airline's mistake. I want this amount refunded to me. Hi,I bought an air ticket of Turkish Airlines via Booking.com on October 21st, 2021 and then re-booked to Business Class on November2021.Passenger Name: *************************** Flight Details: *** --> ******* via ******** Date: 22nd December 2021.Customer Feedback ***************** On the day of departure the flight was delayed by 4+ hours and at the Airport Turkish Airline staff was not able to find me an alternate flight. They assured me that I would get a 100% return on my flight including any additional charges like seat selection as well as all taxes. Since it was a change at the last moment where they have complete control of the ticket, they assured that this refund shall be taken care of by them independent of my booking agency.On being called up on their customerservice later, they assured that they have refunded the entire amount to the agency within3 weeks of the departure.Agency provided me with proof that Turkish Airlines has only partially refunded the ticket and have refused to refund the remaining amount.I reached out to Turkish Airlines directly about their customer service andone of the executives clearly stated that an amount of $1327.83 USD is pending for refund and he promised that he has raised the request for the refund and the refund would be receivedin the next few working days.However, I haven't received any refund or communication on the timeline from Turkish Airlines since then.I look forward to getting this matter resolved ASAP.Thanks,- - ******Initial Complaint

On May 4, 2022 I purchased a round trip flight from ***** to ****** 08/06/2022 returning 08/14/2022 - Tickets # ************* - ************* and *************, at the time of the booking due to my son special needs requirements we bought the more space seats for the three of us, the airline decided to change aircrafts and the seat number remained but in a complete different position, I paid $888 per seats and when I talked to one of the supervisor that I remembered his name - ******* he ironically said to me that they gave me the seat I had on my tickets and was rude and disrespectful ( Flight **** 08/14/2022 ) of course same numbers but different aircraft, I want the money I spent since I never received that service. Dear Turkish Airline Customer Service,I have information that my lost bag is in *** Turkish Airlines Storage. I have filed the official complaint on your online portal (File Reference **********), uploaded all the necessary information and have been calling your ************** number several times a week, but not getting any resolution of the matter. I have tried to contact your JFK Lost and ***************** but not able to reach them by email **************** or phone ************* and ************). I purchased a ticket from Turkish airlines 2 months ago for my wife and i and we were supposed to fly from ******* to *********** on October 10th at 8pm and they have changed our return flight from ******* to *********** to October 10th at 11 am while we arrive at ******* at 4pm!!!!! I have called and emailed them several times and have talked to some representatives to change my return flight and fix my problem but they told me that i should pay for the change of flight that was cancelled by them not me. After calling them for several times the only option that they gave me is flying from ******* to *********** the next day and they do not accept any other responsibilities. In that case i should pay for a hotel for one night, i should pay for extra luggages and we will loose one day of our working income because my wife and i should be at work on 10.11.2022. Turkish Airlines created the most excruciating and borderline traumatic experience of my adult life. After I had a flight missed in ******* on a separate ticket with Lufthansa, I could not longer reach Bologna in order to embark the Bologna-********-****** leg of the trip (with Turkish airlines). As the situation in ********* the morning of June 25th was chaotic due to a strike, I would not be able to get on the next flight to Bologna until later in the week. After pleading with the Lufthansa agent and explaining I had a flight to catch with Turkish Airlines, she said that they could send me and my suitcases straight to the second leg of my trip with Turkish Airlines, and that this would not be a problem, since they are also a Star Alliance member. Once I arrived at the *******************, it was clear that Turkish Airlines employees are completely unfit, untrained, and misinformed about anything customer service related. First, my bags had been lost by Lufthansa. When I went through security and arrived at the gate, I was first assured that my bags were on that next flight to ****** and that I was checked into flight TK 828. As the situation became more chaotic, with other customers screaming and crying about their seats having been given away, I was told that I was actually on standby and that my bags were not on board the aircraft. As the night progress and the time came for the flight to leave, I was told I was not on this flight at all, even though I had payed for it in May. What followed was 20+ hours speaking with over eighteen different agents, one more condescending than the next, saying they did not know why I was not allowed on this flight. I was already so exhausted at the end of the 20 hours, and went back to the ticket counter. I was given more inaccurate information, and found out they had cancelled my flight (roundtrip) and made me repurchase for the next day- $1011 US, TK830 (at first they told me only the departure had been cancelled).Initial Complaint

Confirmation # : ****** Let me start off by saying that Turkish Airlines has the worst possible customer service. Plus it is so difficult to communicate with them because most of the time they don't understand what we are saying and we don't understand what they are saying I had booked the above reservation some 4 months ago. There has been a schedule change for my flight and I have been calling them for the past 3 days to get the matter resolved. However every time I call, I have to go through the process all over again, even though the previous rep confirms that the changes have been made and I will be able to see them on line in a few hours. In fact with every rep its been a different story. They all put you on hold to never return to the line. Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable!! They say they are going to work on your reservation and don't come back to the line even after one hour of hold. I am sure this is the company policy to put the customer on hold and then not return. Why else would everyone be playing the same game??All I want to be done is to honor my ticket and let me travel. I am open with my dates. I can travel November 23rd or 24th ( my original booking is for the 23rd of November, 2022.). However since I hold a business class ticket, I will travel business class ONLY. If they cant accommodate me for these days, I can travel November of next year on whatever date you have available.I request you to please call me @************ to resolve the issue.Customer Answer

To Whom it May ********* have purchased an airline ticket directly through Turkish Airlines (******) travelling from *** to *** (********, **********) with the travel date of June 13, 2022. Purchased a ticket in the amount of $2,679.57 with an additional $78 with choosing the seat options. My route was *** - *** *** - IST IST - TAS.Please review attached, as I was two pieces of luggage to be checked in and two personal items to take with me on the plane. Upon arriving at the airport, I came into a realization that Turkish Airlines is using United Air as a third party to have me flown to *** (*******). I was asked to pay fee of $200 ($100 per checked bag) and was told by the United Airlines attendant that Turkish Airlines does that all the time without having their Customers informed of any additional charges. I have contacted Turkish Airlines on four separate occasions and was given a run-around with the same same message as *some would contact me from the main office*. The first contact initiated on the same date as I flew to ***, June 13, 2022. Once the feedback is open with Turkish Airlines, they claim to response within 14 days but calls never came. Please see below as I have the reference numbers for each time I have contacted them seeking for a resolution or refund on the luggage charges.TK - ******* on June 13, 2022 TK - ******* on July 1, 2022 TK - ******* on July 5, 2022 TK - ******* on July 19, 2022 It is unfortunate that the *************** of such magnitude uses misleading and, in my opinion, unethical practices and leaving their customers to bare an extra cost. My complaint is about how the Turkish Airlines handled my case. I lost my luggage 25 days ago. Since, I have been having issues with the customer service. There is a case ID assigned to my case, CASE ID:**********. Each time I called the customer service # they say the same things over and over again. By their regulation, they are supposed to compensate for the lost luggage after 21 days of search. It's been more than 21 days, I am still having issues getting the issue resolved.
