2 starsI had my car checked on 08/29/24 due to rough and bumping riding. They placed several new parts to my car which did not resolve the problem. During that service one of the mechanics cracked my hub cap and I have been trying to get them to replace it. Today 11/06/24 they finally have the replace hub cap, however it is a poor quality from my orginal hub cap. I gave it back to them to replace it with the same quality hub cap on my car. Now look at the time frame that it has taken just to get the hub replace and it is unacceptable. The regional manager a Mr. ****** has been well informed and I hope it is not going to take another two months to resolve this problem.Review fromJoseph M.

1 starIf I could leave 0 or negative stars I would. I initially went in for a simple flat repair. Throughout the process, they noticed my control arms were cracked and I authorized them to be replaced. Then they did the alignment and it required tie rod ends. The car had an awful vibration/wobble after their work. I went back, the wheel weights were thrown. This happened several times and they rebalanced the tires. Still didn’t resolve the vibrating. They kept moving the tires from front to back and in the process had to replace a spindle they broke when over tightening the lugs. Every single repair required at least one trip (most of them more than once) to repair the errors made with the initial repair on tie rods, control arms, and the spindle. The car kept going out of alignment and I insisted they replace the bad parts they put in. After 15 trips (no exaggeration) to Mavis, the dealership, and another local shop, the car had been realigned and still not fixed 6 different times. I brought it back AGAIN and they still didn’t replace the faulty control arms, but replaced the axles which were completely fine and didn’t require replacement. Then the transmission shifted improperly. Also come to find out that in order to “correct” the alignment issue, they overinflated the front tire by over 10 lbs causing a danger to myself and any passengers in my car. All the while, the regional manager felt the need to argue with me saying “you told me in August it was great and now we’re in September” as if an alignment should only last a month. I eventually had to get rid of the car because I was not sinking thousands more into it to replace all the parts Mavis already did once. Highly unprofessional and incompetent techs at all locations I have visited.Review fromGarrett F

1 star*** update** called corporate 5days later no call back. Arizona differential confirmed brakes plus did not get all the metal shaving from a failed bearing, out from there work and it destroyed all the new bearings they installed** 4k of work down the drain!!! Just got off from the phone with the store manager (does not care at all ) spent 10s of thousands of dollars over the last 3 years here. After all of that the store manager told me basically who cares we are corporate owned. when all the work I did 1000s on the rear end alone, is completely shot according to Arizona differential ( that the store manager referred me too) barley a few thousand miles. No de escalation skills no care in the world. He did not care and its a recorded line of course and has a poor attitude. I will call corporate. Stay away from this place !! They are welcome to contact me and make it right if they want and sure they wont.Review fromJose G

1 starMavis in *************** claimed they changed the brakes on our car. After spending several hundred dollars, we realized that the brakes were clearly not working properly. In fact, the car felt and sounded worse than before the mechanics worked on it. On top of that, the car developed a leak somewhere along the undercarriage, that we would notice whenever the car was parked in the driveway. After much back and forth with them, they tried to say they could try to fix the brakes, but other repairs would also need to be simultaneously done. Thankfully we took the car to the dealer. We were told that the rear brakes did not appear to be recently installed and furthermore there was a hole in the oil pan (the source of that leak). We are certain that was caused by Mavis, because it was not an issue prior to taking the vehicle there. We seriously considered going through litigation for the fraudulent repairs done by Mavis, but we couldnt spare the time to take that one. So instead, we decided to consider it an expensive ****** learned. We will not be using them again. After the incident, I looked online and was surprised to find an abundance of similar negative reviews. Mavis needs to be audited by whoever the licensing/governing board is that oversees them providing services to the public. There are some real concerns of fraudulence and unethical conduct. The customers deserve better.Review fromSherri P

1 starAfter $3,000 paid for repairs and tires, the car caught fire after a 5-mile drive. Engine and all parts destroyed. Store nor regional manager under Mavis, **** will assume any responsibility. The driver, who at this time is homeless, is now without a car. Outrageous business practice. F rating. Tragic situation. The driver could have been injured had she not driven into a parking lot because of the smoke.Only give one star since I had to include a rating. 0 = F is the appropriate ratingReview fromJay H

1 starA local store damaged one of *** plumbing fans in took full of accountability for the accident. We have been dealing with a regional manager for 2 months to get r van repaired and this person never returns phone calls oe emails. They insist that we get the van repaired at their shop and not at a reputable shop of *** choice. This whole process has been beyond ridiculous and are only corporate contact has been the epitome of unprofessionalism. After 2 months, they tell us they will only approve $4000 regardless of who we take to fix it. This is a brand new mercedes cargo van that they damaged in their own shop and they wanna dictate to us who repairs it. What a complete slap in the face of a customer. All they did was create one poor customer experience on top of the other and they act like we are trying to take advantage of them. We are a small plumbing company and we just need *** van **** on the road. Customer ********************** has been great but their hands are tied and they will not provide you contact information to escalate anything above this regional manager. That is a ridiculous policy when you have such poor leadership handling customer problems especially when they didn't create the problem in the first place. I'm writing this because it's no longer about the money. It's simply principal. How does a company operate like this, treating customers this way? Corporate ********************** is hurting their own local stores with leaders like this in positions of decision making. Based on principle, I will never service any of my vans in their store again. Oh, and by the way, we paid *** complete bill that day "after they did thousands of dollars of damage to *** company van". You simply cannot make this stuff up.Review fromKaysie M

1 starAbsolutely disgusted with this company's work. I was charged $1206, but hadn't given permission for them to start the work. I was told "My guys are already working on it". On top of that they overfilled my oil when doing an oil change. Then they entirely neglected to tell me my emergency brake would do absolutely nothing if I used it. The worst part was they charged me for new rear brake pads and charged me the labor associated with putting them in but never put them in. They let me leave their shop with NO BRAKE PADS. Thankfully I took it to another shop and he likely saved me from an accident. They assured me that once they were done the car would be good to pass inspection but they don't deal with check engine lights, hence I went elsewhere. But they told me to come back and they would pass my car for inspection. I had used them for a couple of years but now i can promise that they will never have my business again. We trust these "professionals" to do their jobs but I feel I was scammed out of my money and they put myself and others around me in danger.Review fromCharlotte S

5 starsEXCELLENT SERVICE! I had a blow out in the PA turnpike and after waiting for over an hour and a half for PennDot to get someone to remove the damaged tire and put the donut on, I had to get off the turnpike to buy a new tire. I found the Elverson PA ship and they took me in immediately and had a new tire in place in less than 15 minutes. They also put the donut back in the spot it belonged I. My car. And the people I had contact with there were very friendly and helpful. Best service I could've ever asked for!Review fromAlex B

1 starThis place is not even BBB accredited and now I know why. Please read reviews in ******. The cheat people and lie and damage the cars and when you take your car back because they talk about life time warranty , they claim the problem is something else and charge you all over agin. The simple break job suppose to cost $299 but end up being $1100.
