Ntb is the worst and has only gone down over the last few years. I went in for my schedule appointment and was met by the manager or service manager who was so unfriendly as if he was being bothered by my presence. Then was later told that the alignment machine was broken so no service for you. Unfriendly guy just handed me the keys and walked away. I did make a complaint but what good is that going to do. First, I make an 8am appointment thinking I could leave my keys in a drop box to be at work by 8 but they do not have that option. No problem. I'm greeted quickly to check my car in at 8 so that's the only "star". ****** proceeds to tell me he is the only person working that day. I express sympathy etc and leave (because I had an appt) with the understanding that my car would be ready by lunch time. Few hours later I get a call saying hey, you need brakes. I say let me think about it and call you back. I call back within 15min and say to do the brakes as well. Car will not be ready by lunch break now but by this time I have talked to ****** directly on 3 occasions. Not once did he say the business hours are incorrect. I get to the shop at 5:08 as I get off at 5. Business is closed and I don't have access to my vehicle. NO sign on door at all about the hours and online said they close at 6pm (false advertisement). Next day I return for vehicle/pay and express my discontentment with this store and ****** brushes it off saying that he told headquarters to fix the website. I said well you could have wrote the hours on a sign for the door and he said he did but it blew away. He couldn't care less of my inconvenience! I call to file a complaint and I STILL have not heard back from the district manager. This service was in March. So fast forward to last week of May, I go to my regular place and get an oil change. I say hey, can you check the brakes too because now they are nosier than when ****** allegedly fixed them. Get my brakes report and told they are in the yellow. SO I paid for a service at NTB in March that clearly did not occur. I call to make another complaint and here we are 5 days later and STILL no call back. Patronize them at your own risk. They will take your money and not do the service. They don't care about their customers enough to even return a call.Mavis Discount Tire

1 starToday I am really ****** I took my jeep in for an oil change. And was told my struts are gone bad in the front. So elected to have the fixed. Not I was told it cost a thousand bucks at least. To have them replaced with two dollars down . On 25 May 2023 I pickup my vehicle by late 26 May 23 I noticed black fluid on garage floor right passager. Because of the holiday I had to wait until Tuesday the next day And was told because a mistake the to the Axle and wrong part delivered . I have wait because my car can't be driven I have to cancel doctors appointment and more today 31 May 2023, I have only one vehicle and I very upset about the service And need to be rewarded my Money.At this timeReview fromTyler J

1 starI went to get a 45-********** change which turned into 3 days without a vehicle. I dropped my pick up off and went to get a hair cut thinking it would be any typical Mavis appointment. I came back and waited in their lobby for 2 hours, then I got a call from the manager ******** (Still in the waiting room of Mavis) that there was a problem getting my vehicle down. Confused, I asked him to come out, the gentleman came out and explained to me that the pickup was stuck on the lift and they were unable to get it down. The team proceeded to tell me to find a ride home because they didnt know how to fix it. One of the mechanics was the ONLY ONE to come outside and have a sincere apology for what happened and asked me if I needed anything out of it. They gave me the store manager and territories fist names and told me to call customer **********************, and they preceded to close and leave me on the side of RT 22. The staff said a manager would be in contact, I called the number they gave me and Customer ********************** said there was nothing they could do. They never ONCE called with an update, and its been 3 days without a vehicle, I filed a police report because I dont know what is going on with my Pick-up and Mavis has failed to provide an answer.Review fromBret H

1 starWith the kind of service I received on 5/28/23, it's incredibly hard to believe this place has a 4.4 rating. I called prior to visiting and an employee stated that a conventional oil change would be around $50. When I arrived and had my oil changed, ** stated it would be $85. He then had to go and ask the manager on duty to approve the rate. Just recently, I noticed that they have removed their service pricing sign from the waiting room. This demonstrates a huge lack of transparency and unethical business practices. Customers have to come in and wonder what they'll be charged because nothing is in writing.The employee, **, was disrespectful, ill-mannered, immature, short tempered, extremely talkative and smart mouthed with me the whole time. This included side comments and talking under his breath to coworkers about me and my car. He down played my concerns, while telling me what MY CAR needed instead of asking what I needed. He was too busy trying to up sell, giving my brand new car a full inspection and getting his point across, that my needs seemed unimportant.During the oil change, I overheard an employee under the car ask, "is this a 4-cylinder?" to MJ, at which point he stated "barely." ** continued small talk to his coworkers and even dropped the f-bomb at one point. He said, "what the f is happening." When I called him on it, he stated, "I guess I said the f word" and was immediately in denial. I told him, "I don't guess, I know you said it" and if the corporate office knows that he says the f word in front of customers while on duty. Apparently he has a hard time being confronted or challenged by customers who have a voice.Customers have a right to inquire and choose what kind of services they feel are needed and don't want to be dictated or subjected to what Express Oil Change wants to sell them.This company seems to be moving backwards in its business practices and hiring choices.Review fromJames W

1 starThis is absolutely the worst place to come I will never come here again I'm telling everybody right now do not come here I went there on a Saturday and got front brakes and rotors cuz I was going out of town to *************** ******* and then basically the next day I put all my luggage in the car come to find out I heard a really loud clicking noise everything was closed I had to rent a vehicle and basically what happened was whoever did my brakes left a hook up in my my wheel well to the point where when I drove with the weight on it it sound like my tire was going to come off so they cost me $1,400 because I had to rent a vehicle and then I call and asked to be compensated nothing the regional Manor manager said I said f you to me he was very rude he laughed about the situation nothing I was going to take my kids to ********** with the credit card I used and I got no response everyone said they can't do anything for me basically so I'm telling you right now I give them a zero out of five stars I will never go back there I am going to take this to a further level I even had to take my car to a dealership when I came back from ******* and they confirm that I have the hook and paperwork that shows what they did to my vehicle and the reason why I had their scammers I'll never go back there again I should have been compensated for something but yeah I had to on a Sunday rent a vehicle last minute during the *** golf tournament so it was expensive but the card I was going to use to take my kids to ********** couldn't even do that because I had to run a vehicle so I went on a vacation and did nothing thank you so much Mavis the worst place ever to comeReview fromAlbert Z

1 starMost unprofessional customer **********************. went there for warranty the tires bought there with balancing and alignment. I was called a Lier ,**** head and **** who is i don't know what his position is, threatened me and almost punched me as he threw his counter displays and spit on my face. 1 starThis complaint is about mafia tire Williamsville ** location. I went there today for a front brake job and walked out $439.96 lighter in my wallet. I am not complaining about the workmanship. I did question the price and asked if there was any discount or specials available and was told no by the staffer who waited on me. I said okay as the brakes needed to be done. I paid the bill when the job was done some 2 hours later (despite having an appointment). I didn't look at the receipt until I got home and notice there was $99.99 charge for a brake flush, I have never heard or ever had this done when getting a brake job. I know they have to bleed the brakes but a flush! I called the store and inquired about it and was told that's normal procedure, I'm not buying it and will never buy anything from mafia again. This was nothing more than a rip off and I will have no problem telling others about my experience and advising them to stay away from mavis discount tire. This is no longer a reputable company in my book.
