      Why does Mavis Discount Tire have it where you can schedule an appointment and they don't honor your appointment? At EVERY SINGLE STORE, they claim it's first come first serve. Why make an appointment then? People are on tight schedules and need to make appointment times. If I have say a 12pm appointment, I have to wait until every single person who is there and those who dropped their cars off go ahead of me. It should be like a barbershop or salon. If my appointment is at 12, I want my car pulled in at that time and skip anyone who is a walk-in or dropoff. It's ridiculous!! Not everyone has the luxury of dropping their cars off and having work done at their convenience. I am almost at the point of not going here anymore. HONOR APPOINTMENT TIMES!!!!

      I was stranded on the freeway upon towing my vehicle in the customer service rep assured they had the tire I needed and would be available to repair my back tire. When I got there they said they cannot do it . Then ************* chimed in to say he could. As the tow truck driver was releasing my vehicle from the tow truck , **** came out shouting No! Meaning he cannot repaire tire now. He said because I have AWD he cannot repair just one tire. I believe he used my vulnerable state to take advantage of me as a customer. I ended up getting 4 ********************** just so he could repair the one bad tire. I felt talked advantage of.

      Terrible! They are screwing me out of thousands. Don’t go here!!!!! They messed up not once but TWICE! They charge for work they DONT DO! They also don’t even complete the work that’s done. They screwed up big time and didn’t tighten my tire rod and it blew out my power steering! They also “FORGOT” to put FOUR BRAND NEW TIRES ON MY CAR! but didn’t forget to charge me them! *** is terrible and ***** is very unprofessional. Please don’t go here!!!!!

      I took my car engine light battery lights was on and after 3 hours manger said my car is good to go and when i started my car i had still same problem and he said he fixed 1 step and before he said it's good to go. He charged me for filter and filter sensor $523.58. I had arguing with him. but did not worked. next day i took my car another mechanic and he checked my car and he said your car need to just reset. Your car don't need filter and filter sensor. Also filter and sensor does not cost more than $150 with *****. He reset my car and my car is good now.Please not to go there. They charged everything double and don't trust them.

      I had appointment to install 4 new tires on my 2020 vehicle i dropped it off and went shopping, I received a call 1 hour later and was told my front brake pads are 85% worn and that they recommend they be replaced, I opted not to replace them and just paid for the tires,installation and wheel alignment. The next day I dropped my vehicle off at a local mechanic near my place of employment to replace the brakes and rotors, I received a call 1 hour later that my brakes were good and still had 8mm thickness still left on front and rear brakes. I feel they was attempting to take advantage of me and replace something that did not need replacing simply to create more business. Definitely my last time doing business with Mavis and their dishonest practices.

      In the beginning of December 2022 I went to Mavis to have 4 new tires and wheels mounted, put on and aligned. Also, to have new tie rods put on. My appointment was for 9am Saturday morning. I get a call around 4:30pm Saturday evening just before they close telling me that my car is ready. When I arrive the car is still being worked on. After they finally got the tires put on after 5pm they reverse the car out of the garage bay to be placed on the lift where they do the alignment. When driving the car there was a loud knocking noise coming from the wheel. They now had the vehicle on the lift that performs the alignment for about an hour. At this point something doed not feel right because the shop closes and theres only two techs that were working on my car and the manager in the shop left. As my mother and I wait they finally come out anround 6pm and say the tie rods were not put on right and it has to be done then next day due to the time it takes to be fixed. I remain patient and give them the benefit of the doubt. The next day comes, Sunday, and I finally receive a call around 4pm saying that the car is ready. Everything was fine for a couple days then I start hearing grinding/screeching noise intermittently coming from the front end. As time goes on the sound progressively gets worse, but it was not constant so I was trying to put it off until I get paid again, I just dropped a lot of money on the car( new struts, new tires and rims, new tie rods, new thermostat, new brakes and all the labor that goes). Now today while driving my abs light and my traction control light came on. It took them over 16 hours to do the job wrong and now I have other issues with my vehicle I have to take care of because of their poor service. I wish they would have been up front with me and let me know the real status of the job, what condition my vehicle was in regardless if they had caused it or not rather than waste my time and money and put me in a dangerous driving situation.

      This was the first time I went to Mavis on ***** ****** ****** **. I was greeted with a smile, the representative was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and honest!!! I was given a time estimate, since I did not have an appointment, due to an unexpected flat. I waited less than the estimated time given. Thank you Mavis Team!!! You have a new customer. ***** **

      Mavis did a complete inspection on my car Passed it gave me my paper work left brake light came on they said it needed to go to a differant Garage there meter was not made to detect all brake lights they told me where to take it,Relative of there saratoga and ****** regional Mgr. When arrived they took my car in called me out to lift area and said to me this car should of NEVER passed inspection to take it back to Mavis I did They wouldn't even put it on the lift so I could show them the promblem! I"am a 72 year old women and ***n't do anything with my car. I feel something should be done I can't get help any where! I've filleda complant with DMV,waiting on answer.

      This place changes managers more often than most people change underwear. If there is this much decent in the upper ranks, I think we should seriously question the business. Came in for tires, I could only afford 2. I was promised the same price if I came back. Great experience with **** in ********* **. So to fix that, 3 months later he is gone, and this other guy tries to tell me I need ball joints and something is up with my rear caliper. I just had the whole vehicle checked at a dealership last month. Nice try scammers. I told him I don't care what you show me, you aren't getting another cent. Amazingly, the tires are going to be the same price I was quoted 3 months ago.

      I recently took my vehicle to Mavis for service work only to have to take it to a ************** Shop to have the Mavis work corrected at additional expense. From Mavis I experienced missing parts, incorrect installation and poor customer service. I am thankful there are other options locally to get my service work done besides Mavis.
