      BUSINESSES LIKE THESE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN ASAP!! I PAID FOR 2 BRAND NEW TIRES 9 MONTH AGO AND THEY BOTH BLEW OUT TODAY, WITH TREADS COMPLETELY GONE. THE COMPANY BLAMES MY ALIGNMENT ON THE *** FOR CAUSING THE BLOW OUT. AND I BARELY DRIVE THE *** (**** MILES DRIVEN **** THEY REFUSE TO GIVE A REFUND EVEN THOUGH ITS STILL COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTEE. THEY WILL ONLY GIVE A DISCOUNT IF I GET MORE TIRES FROM THEM. THIS COMPANY HAS SOO MANY LAWSUITS STACKED UP AGAINST THEM AND THEY ARE STILL SCAMMING CUSTOMERS!!!

      I had to come back to have them completely replace my brakes! I originally had them done in *******, traveled back to ************** where I live before realizing something was wrong. I heard a clicking sound and noticed one of the rotors looked odd. I brought to my mechanic where they discovered the 2 inner pads had been put on one side and the 2 outer on the other side! They switched them around for me but I still heard the clicking. Brought it back to my mechanic where they said the pads had been damaged from incorrectly installing them in the first place and would need replacing. So I drive 45 minutes to a mavis location where the supervisor looks at it, tells me the brakes are perfectly fine then tries to sell me wheel bearings! At this point I called my mechanic and they said no, the pads are loose. The supervisor is very frustrated with me at this point because I'm arguing with him that I KNOW it's the brakes. Eventually he gathers the receipts I brought from my own mechanic, faxes them somewhere and calls his boss. After 3 hours of waiting and arguing they decide to just replace the brakes anyway. Well low and behold, the clicking noise has gone away! I'm so tired of these places trying to scam us women into believing something is broken when it's not! So glad I had a trusted mechanic take a look FIRST. and after all this, the regional manager who was first contacted before anything was fixed STILL has not given me a call as requested! This was almost 2 weeks ago!

      On Oct 31 I visited Mavis Tire in ******* NC to replace wheel bearings in my car. The next day while driving the front ball joint and axel broke off a I came to a screeching halt. I had the car towed back to them and they provided me rental for 3 days. I went back to them today about the rental because no has looked at my car or provided any type of date of repairs. They tell me I have to contact corporate because they can’t do anything about the rental agreement. Never ever use them for anything…

      The representative informed us that I can add the warranty to my tires, I wasn’t aware that you can purchase warranty for tires that wasn’t purchased there however he said I could so I agreed to it. Now I went to get new tires on my vehicle at your ******, ** location. That location informed me that the warranty won’t apply, also they only cover tires that was purchased at Mavis. That’s when everything took a left. Why would your representative convenience us to purchase it? I chose to go to Mavis because I had various vehicles serviced and I stood by your brand of work. Now we realize that was a con, complete fraud. I spoke with the regional manager ***** *********, he said we will give you your money back. I said that is not sufficient, because it was clear fraud, zero integrity, and I, as a valued customer(well used to be) feels as though your company took advantage of the consumer.

      MAVIS TIRE IN ******:
      1 star out of a possible 5.
      ??Consumer Warning??
      - 8:30am appointment for today, scheduled three weeks ago, to have my snows put on. Arrived 8:10am. He asks if I want new stems. I tell him why would I want new stems? He says most people get them. Really? It’s the first time I’ve ever been asked that. My answer was no thank you. I don’t recognize any workers I’ve dealt with in the past.
      - Left my car with them and walk to the ******* behind Mavis and discover I left my phone in the car.
      - When I ask the guy to retrieve my phone from my car, which is now in the bay, I am informed I need new snows. I found that odd because although they were in the plastic bags they put them in last Spring, the exposed part of the snows looked fine for a third winter with no uneven wear. The tires THEY showed me had uneven wear. Were they mine? I will give them the benefit of the doubt here because I only saw each tire area that was not covered by the bag and was walking to ******* & didn’t observe them take my snows out of my vehicle.
      - I ask how much for new snows. He quotes me $752 and change. I confirm that is with whatever they have to do with the tire including tax. I confirmed that TWICE and had punched the number in on my phone calculator to remember the figure.
      - They tell me the new snows are at a warehouse on ***** **** **** and will be here in an hour. Three hours later, they arrive & my car is ready with the new snows on them 30+ minutes later.
      - He rings me out and says, $787. I’m like, no. You quoted me $752. Why the difference, I ask. He corrects it and says he has it down to $750.80 and I pay it.
      - Up until this point, I am the calm, quiet, patient old lady with the gray hair. But I am about to lose my ****.
      - Usually they ask if I want them to store my all-seasons at the store and I always say no, please put them in my vehicle. They never asked.

      Terrible! Got new tires and an oil change- asked to view my bill before he ran my credit card and he said oh, itll all be on there. *******, signed and left as I was late for another appointment and *** never had an issue when going there. I had to turn back around and come back to the shop not 100 yards down the road - car was shaking horribly. Took it back- guy asks me where are you feeling the shake- it could be your brakes. Umm, I was like dude- my car was fine- you just put tires on it; Put the keys on the counter and said take it back in. Ended up it was out of balance- a weight had fallen off. Got back home and checked my bill- and this is my fault for not getting my bill ahead of time and checking it- got charge extra for oil change labor and extra for the filter, over and above the oil change price. I walked out of there paying for a $99 oil change BEWARE!!!

      I stopped by there and got 4 new tires installed and balanced. The balance was horrible and come back next day to redone. Was not successful again. Another horrible job and the pressure tire light turned on and message on screen said to bring car to dealership. Next day on ****** dealership they discovered a broken pressure tire sensor inside the tire with duck tape trying holding up sensor on place. I was very disappointed with Mavis about everything And they not pay me back the expensive to replace the sensor. In addition to doing a bad job, they are dishonest and cheaters. I dont recommend you bring your car in there

      Please don’t go here. Save your money and time. I spent four hours at the location close to me, only to spend $700 more than what I was told. My mistake for not asking to see the invoice before handing over my card. I called customer service and was told that a regional manager would reach out. I won’t hold my breath. Not to mention they didn’t tighten the valves all the way on my brand new tires and lost a day of work because I woke up to TWO flat tires. And that’s not even including the flat my car had before even leaving the lot. I get handed my keys, don’t even get to my car and I notice it. “*****” apparently drove it like that, so thank you for that. I hope to never have to return. I regret giving them my money.

      On October 2, I had stopped at the Brookhaven PA Mavis. They checked my tire out and said I had picked up a nail. They had to order my tire replacement. I was told the tire would be in Thursday so I went and made a reservation for Sunday, October 9 at 12pm.
      On Sunday, October 12 I arrive at my reservation time only to be told there were no techs. I immediately went home and made a reservation for Saturday, October 15.
      On October 15 I arrived at my reservation time which was 11am. Four hours later I had my new tire. Four hours to put a new tire on when I had a reservation is unacceptable. An ******* ******** couple who did not have a reservation came in after me to have their tire replaced. Three hours later Mavis was taking the ******* ******** couple's car in to replace their tire. I immediately went to the service desk asked why was it that the ******* ******** couple had their car in the bay when I came in before them.
      The manager went to were the service order pouches were, looked through till he found mine and place it on time and said you're next. Then he had the nerve to say I hope you'll give me a good rating. No way did I give them a good rating. It took a total of 3 trips to Mavis and 4 hours of my life I'm never getting back because they cannot manage their time properly or treat their customers better.
      I will not be back to Mavis. You have lost any future business I would have given you.

      Spent $1000 for new tires. The price I was given over the phone was not the actual price after having to pay for sensors, warranty, and labor. Tire sensor fell off after week and course they said I had to pay for new one. After needing new tire because a nail was in mine got charged another $75 to get new tire. Terrible service
