Bait and switch. Had a final price on the phone all in Price at ***********, ** store was $25 more. Questioned difference and explanation was tire disposal fee (2 tires), so $12.50 each? Found out Im not calling store from web listing, but service center which was explanation for miscommunication. They charge $25 deposit and now I know why. People cancel when they are cheated. The kicker? *** disposal fee is $3.50. As if this is not bad enough, the tires have not arrived when promised after 1PM. Its now 3PM. Complaint will be opened with ************** as well as Mavis corporate. Too bad, been a customer for many years, not anymore.

AVOID MAVIS LIKE THE PLAGUE, THEY'RE GOING TO ADD CHARGES FOR THINGS YOU DON'T WANT/NEED.I've used NTB in *********** for 10+ years because they have an excellent lead mechanic (*******) and didn't engage in the scammy practices I've experienced with other repair shops. However, since Mavis has taken over and replaced the management staff, I'm seeing practices that would make a backwoods GA ************* shop blush.I took my GLA 250 in for issues with my rear brakes and was told that "you may need to replace the brake fluid" (a first) but never agreed to have it done. When I picked up my car, they did in fact charge me over $100 for replacing my brake fluid without my consent. When asked, I was told "we like to do that" when working on breaks (involuntary upsell). I later noticed that the alignment that I did agree to was $175 rather than the rate I had always been charged of $90-$120. I called the manager and asked what an alignment cost for a ******** and was told $159. When I went to complain in person, the salesperson who charged me $175 said the rate for a foreign car/truck was $179 vs. $119 for "normal car" (3 different prices for the same work). I asked why the $55 upcharge, since it was the same machine & same tech, and was told "that's what Mavis wants us to charge". They finally refunded the cost to $119 after a refused a credit for future ******** AWAY, RUN AWAY,......!

Just honest, courteous, caring workers informing me of my tire status. Thank you for allowing me to ask so many questions. Ill be returning. ****** R

Dropped my truck off & got awful service. I have a rental from Enterprise & needed an oil ***************************** rotation. Enterprise listed this ** as their partner where their vehicles are taken care of. We received service, after the guy whose name I cant remember suggested I come back tomorrow bc he didnt feel like doing all of the paperwork it takes to process services for rental vehicle. Surprising to hear & it made us feel like an inconvenience even tho the store was still open. The truck was finally processed & service began. We went to eat & came back when it was finished. After we picked up the truck I drove w/ no issues but I did have a long drive early the next day that was HORRIBLE.We had to leave before sunrise at 1.30 am. I got to 431 & started to smell & see smoke inside & outside the truck. I pulled over to see that a s**** was screwed in too loosely & barely at all, which resulted in the oil leaking out of the truck. This mishap ultimately cost my team a substantial loss of work for the day.We were stranded on the side of the road nearly 24 hours bc all of the power went off as we kept trying to crank it in the pouring rain. HORRIBLE experience.Eventually we got an emergency rental from ***** but all they had was a truck too small to pull a ********** like to discuss ways of being reimbursed due to this undeliverable performance. Ill have to report this to Enterprise to update them & see where it goes from there. If I cannot be accommodated the incomplete installment, I will be forced to escalate the issue **Edit** Today is Feb 20. Thought Id circle back to let everyone know that nothing came of all of the phone calls I made to the fake number they gave me. When I spoke to them, they gave me an email address to send my complaint to and Ive gotten nothing but well follow up with you over and over if any response at all. Regional manager *** has said h*** call me before the end of the business day **** of days in a row. ********

Mavis tire ******** PA. Highly recommend going anywhere else but here for an oil change. We had an oil change done here December 30th, the oil drain plug fell out causing engine failure. We returned to this location January 21st and explained what happened and they took full accountability and told me they were replacing the motor with a new motor due to the year and miles of the vehicle (2019 kia ******* / 25k miles). Every time I'd call to get an update I was told the district manager **** would call me asap. This went on for two weeks. Not once was I updated nor did anyone know where the vehicle was located. magically the car appeared at their shop on Wednesday February 5th. I asked repeatedly for paperwork on the engine and was told by the manager there isn't any. I asked who did the work and was told they don't know. Once we received the car, the interior had black greasy handprints all over the seats. Mavis took care of this and cleaned the interior. Now for the motor that was replaced..... One look under the hood would tell you it wasn't a new motor as was told to me by two store managers. This motor came from a junk yard and had more miles than the original one that was replaced. It stinks like burning antifreeze and is getting poor gas mileage, not to mention the check engine light coming on and it sounds like it's on its last leg. I had to call corporate because nobody here knows anything about this car or who did the work. Corporate told me the district manager **** will be calling me, which I heard for the past two weeks from three store managers. **** finally called and told me this is the motor we got and if there's any problems, there's a 6 month warranty. it's pretty bad when the store manager **** tells me he wouldn't accept this if it was his personal vehicle. so, now were stuck with a car that ran perfect before we came here for an oil change, that were now worried about taking on short trips to the store..........

We took our car to Mavis Tire located at ***************************************************************** on 12/17/2024 for tire inspection. After ***, the shop manager, professionally inspected all tires, we agreed to purchase 4 Continental CrossContact LX25 premium tires @$239.20 each. While the car was on the lift, the mechanic recommended we get rear brakes pad set and rear gas shocks along with oil change, which we agreed to. *** said the work would take a few hours to complete and should be finished before closing at 6pm. We finally picked up the care at 9pm due to a loose bolt issue while mechanic completed repairs..While our granddaughter was driving in ********************* during school, the car experiences a catastrophic road emergency. We contacted *** at Mavis Tire, and he requested we bring the car back to the shop. The rear shock absorber bolt(s) disengaged causing the car to steer out of alignment, impacting the rear tire clearance and wear. Of course, **** mechanics fixed the problem that day! But again, we are not through yet.A week later there was a rear tire leak. AAA road service was called for the car. Upon **** recommendation the car was taken to another Mavis/*** affiliate located near her school. After scheduling an appointment and waiting two consecutive days, Mavis/NTB completed their own car service package and recommended replacing the tire now diagnosed as side wall damage - along with brakes/rotor, alignment, and air filter totaling $997.94. Since then, I have repeatedly called *** back to meet with him at his location to have the tire - treadwear of ***** miles - examined. The tire has a mileage warranty of ******. His shop assistant always picks up the phone as *** is now never in the shop. *** will not return my calls. We live 2 hours from **** location, so driving there needs to be planned. To ensure safe driving on the road we needed to purchase a new tire - Continental CrossContact LX25 at a cross of $279.47, for which we should be compensated.

I purchased a set of tires and the road hazard warranty at this location in *****, **. I had a nail in a tire and came back to have it fixed or to replace the tire. With 10k miles on the tires they refused to do either and said the treads were too worn and I would have to buy new tires.

In November, I went to *** in ************ TN for an oil change. I was advised, I needed an alignment and shown an alignment report that I questioned the validity of. My tires showed no sign of cupping or irregular wear patterns to match the alignment results I was shown. I was also not having any issues steering or any visible misalignment with the steering wheel. Because I was traveling from out of town with a long drive back home, I reluctantly got the alignment to ensure a safe drive home. After getting my car back, I noticed it was making a strange noise that wasn't there prior to drop off. It was after closing on Sunday already so I took it back Monday morning and was told a bolt was loose and needed to be replaced. They said they got a new bolt from *****. After 8 hours of having my car, it was returned to me grossly misaligned. I contacted the store manager the next morning on my drive back to ******* (I had no other choice but to leave). He advised me they would take care of any damages that was caused. I took my car to ***** when I returned home and they did confirm the alignment was not needed and when the *** shop did the alignment, they damaged my subframe. They also found that the bolt that was replaced was not a new bolt from ***** but something that appeared to be "rigged" together. Estimated damages to my car was $2800. I had to fight with Mavis to get this covered. They agreed to reimburse me all money I paid to *** and to ***** and they would pay for the damage repair. I am now 3 months out from this incident and STILL fighting with them to reimburse me the money they promised to reimburse. This has been an absolute nightmare I had to deal with during the holidays and am still dealing with. And the regional manager who was supposed to be my point of contact has been uninvolved/not concerned. The only time he communicates is when I'm forced to contact Mavis directly and beg for updates/progress. Now seeking legal intervention at this point.
