    They do not take all insurance and will not inform you of this until they mail you a bill 30days later. Our bill for a 30 minute phone call was $710.00. They refused to adjust this amount and instructed to to dispute it with my insurance as they were not covering the amount. Its literally 7 times more expensive than a normal psychiatrist. Their call center is out of the *********** so its exceedingly difficult to discuss billing issues. ***** this company at all cost.

    After waiting weeks for an appointment and clearing my schedule for that day so I could attend uninterrupted, but the appointment was canceled without being rescheduled. I do not recommend this company they seem like a giant scam just to make money. I completely agree with all the other bad reviews that I've seen about them

    This is a terrible company with indifferent staff and practices. I would not recommend. The psychiatrist miscalculated my medication, so I'll run out of medication before our next appointment. Staff said they will call me, but did not call, of course. Instead, they messaged me, and response was, "she is on vacation until 1/6." How is that adequate??
    The next day, I went back and forth with another staff member via chat for 50 minutes and received the same vague response, "what is your number? We will call you." Based on the doctor/Talkiatry's negligence, I will have no mediations for several days, and the staff could literally care less that I'll experience adverse side effects from not taking my medication.
    Yes, that's right...based on THEIR error, you'll have to pay more money to see another doctor and take more time out of your day and inconvenience yourself more just to get your medication refilled. I've never been to a practice that did not have an emergency/on-call covering provider. If you contact them Friday afternoon, good luck! You'll never get the help you need. For new patients, cancel your appointments now and steer clear. For existing patients, find a new practice now before this happens to you!

    I reached out to Talkiatry to get some help. While they cancelled my first scheduled appointment without notification, they charge $100 if you cancel your appointment within 48 hours. Obviously, there is no penalty for their negligence. The real issue is the bill that i received for 1/2 hour online visit just talking about who i was and more so was just an introduction. I received a bill notice for $387 after insurance deduction!!! I am so glad that I had cancelled my second appointment before i got this bill. The actual bill was for $658!!! $198 of the bill was for a service not rendered. It was for actual therapy. She listened and prescribed medication and that was it. The fact that they are charging me $1300 and hour for that has to be criminal!I wish that I had done some basic research before signing up. I hope that others will look up reviews before getting scammed by this criminal company. I'm looking into the "No Surprise Act" protecting patients from being overcharged for treatment. I'm not sure how far I will get, but I will be fighting this for sure!Best wishes to all out there that have been scammed by these criminal predators!

    Horrible service complete rip off. All this company wanted to do was put me on medication they didn't care about was sending to anything I had to talk about trust me go find an independent therapist and you will save money and it will be better results. I'm autistic I do not need to be put on antipsychotic medications so once I got my autism diagnosis things were much different and guess what I didn't require to be on heavy medications that had horrible side effects and could possibly have withdrawal symptoms. I asked for a refund on my account I was refunded no money and every time I've tried to contact them I get a call center in another country.

    The absence of empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism displayed by Dr. ****** ***** and his team raises significant concerns. On multiple occasions, I've encountered issues logging into my sessions. When I called their office, the provider canceled my appointment or marked me as a no-show, despite my attempts to log in and notify them.

    This company is predatory at best and does not care about patients or their mental health. I made an appointment months out for my ADHD for medication management. They cancelled the appointment 20 minutes beforehand. I ran out of my medication and started going through withdrawal. They dont care and say its not their responsibility. I wait for the next appointment. They say they put a note to make sure it doesnt happen again. My appointment day comes and they cancel 20 minutes beforehand again. I have a literal panic attack because Im about to get fired at work for going unmedicated for over a month and barely hanging on mentally and emotionally and they dont care at all. They just say its not their responsibility. These people have a duty of care to their patients and this is unacceptable behavior on their part and I wish I never wasted time trying to use them because now Im stuck in a horrible situation. They need to be held accountable to their patients.

    As a patient for about three months, I use Talkiatry service (doctors) to manage and prescribe my meds. Everyone seems very angry. Any normal anomalies, like sending Rx to an incorrect pharmacy, medical care questions in between appointments, or Doctors canceling appointments via Talkiatry phone service staff, are perceived as nothing but irritating problems. First and second responses are always pre-determined, and one size fits all templated answers that aren't relevant to the initial question. getting beyond that is always difficult, and encounters hostility from annoyance. Employees, including doctors, are most likely being mistreated or not valued. I intend to find an alternate solution as soon as I am able.

    Company was not transparent at all regarding cost or billing and charged $658 for a single, barely 45 minute session in which my provider lost internet connection. Nothing was accomplished and further sessions were recommended. Given the associated cost, I am grateful that I cancelled prior to learning about their exorbitant and egregious fees for essentially no services rendered.
    Their website says a session is typically $30 out-of-pocket and my insurance covered the visit at a rate of $298, which was higher than the quoted $124 out-of-pocket cost for the provider that I met with.....but still nowhere near the $658 session fee. There is also no Explanation of Benefits provided, so I have no idea how this was billed or what they are claiming to have provided as a service.
    The Billing department condescendingly explained how "complex" insurance can be and apologized for my being confused. I have no confusion whatsoever, I am disputing the ridiculously high fee for no services rendered and the lack of informing patients or requiring any sort of approval to proceed with sessions knowing that you'll be charged a rate higher than any other professional out there. My disputes have been met with "We are unable to waive or provide discounts for any charges for services as there are legal consequences of adjusting patient's cost shares which include copays, co-insurance or in network deductibles. There are insurance regulations that cannot be violated which are considered federal anti-kickback statutes."
    Total lack of transparency and a scam of services.

    ************. Unprofessional at best. Dangerous at their worst. Multiple times via email and phone, was assured the services that I would be provided. Prior to meeting a psychiatrist online, I filled out an extensive questionnaire. During the meeting, the doctor simply read thru the questionnaire. Towards the end of the meeting, I was told, "I cant treat you. You should find someone in person. But ... How do you feel?" I was then charged over $400 and am now being threatened by the collections department. *************. ********* company. I am not paying that amount of money based on what was promised and how I was treated. I was treated horribly.
