I was first scheduled for an appointment a month away. The day before my appointment, they cancelled it. They said they needed to schedule me with another provider that accepted my insurance. I signed up for my initial appointment through my BCBS link, THAT verified coverage. They sent me two appointment reschedule times, and I responded immediately. They responded two days later telling me the slots were gone. At this point, I called them to schedule by phone. They scheduled me with ********************, another month away. I met with ********, and after a 45 minute appt, I was told this was just an intake appt and that she wouldn't see me. She said I had clinical depression and needed to see an in-person psychiatrist. One of the services they advertise treatment for is depression. I feel like this service is scamming people, promising services, and they don't deliver. They are literally dangerous to anyone seeking mental health services. They need to be shut down.Talkiatry

This company is running a scam model that threatens with unpaid bills for services it never provided. They are harassing me with constant threats through emails and phone calls. Stay far away from this company at all costs.Talkiatry

This company is running a scam. I contacted them for an early appointment in August 2023 and they told me they take my insurance ( I gave them my insurance info). Early this week they emailed an overpriced invoice indicating they do not take my insurance. I reached out to them by email to ask for a discounted invoice since they took my insurance info before I had the virtual appointment with their doctor. They refused. Shame. Touria KTalkiatry

I would give them a zero stars but that is not an option. I made an appointment online and stayed on the line for over 30 minutes and doctor never came-they kept telling me the doctor would be with me. I finally hung up because I also have a life and needed to get on with it. They then sent me a bill for now show for ******. Now want to turn that over to collection and ruin my credit because they are not responsive in an appropriate time to their patients.Talkiatry

I had my first Talkiatry session this morning and the psychiatrist called me an addict and suggested that I am some sort of dealer. I will never use this service again & I will tell everyone I know not to as well.Talkiatry

I was told they accepted my insurance so I filled out paperwork and went through with the initial appt. The doctor ***** listen to anything I said, prescribed a low dose antidepressant that I told her ***** work for meand then they sent me a bill for almost $400 stating that insurance ***** cover anything. Stay away from this predatory company.Talkiatry

This company is horrible to work with, don't even bother. Their app does not work and even if you use the link they provide on a desktop or laptop, it will not work AND they will charge you fees for missed appointments that you were actually there for. The problem started with my 2nd visit (follow-up visit) with my ******* ************************ I tried using the app just like my first appointment, and at first I could hear her, but then suddenly the sound started cutting out. She disconnected the call immediately and when I tried to get a hold of her again it said "your doctor unexpectedly ended this session." and gave me no option other than to leave the appointment. Her assistant called me to see if I was having technical issues, which I told her, yes I was. The app was not working properly. Her assistant tried to send me a link and have me use my laptop instead of my phone to re-connect to the doctor. The link she provided didn't work and gave me more error messages about the doctor not being at the visit. I ended up waiting around for 30 minutes, wasting my time and then being told I would be charged a $100 missed appointment fee. I did not miss the appointment, I was there waiting to speak to the doctor. She did not bother to try to call me or communicate with me whatsoever. I only spoke to her assistant who didn't seem to know why the doctor was not on the call with me. Then the assistant offered to reschedule me again, but worried that I would not be able to get the call through again, I cancelled all future visits. Don't bother trying! This service is honestly a scam. Their apps/links don't work and then they just charge you $100.Talkiatry

Talkiatry is absolutely AWFUL. I started with them just for basic medication management and because they took my insurance but they were nothing but a headache. Scheduling is frustrating. I would schedule appointments online weeks in advance and then receive a cancellation notice day of because my provider was unavailable. Why was I even allowed to schedule an appoint if my doctor wasn't available then? Day-of cancellations happened all the time for reasons that were not last-minute or emergency, such as my provider being on vacation or going on leave (with no additional information about when she'd be back). This is a nightmare when you are low on medication and need a refill.The other issue was billing. They would send me bills MONTHS after appointments, they had no regular schedule for billing clients. I just received a bill for an appt that happened over a year ago! And since it's a large platform, rather than a smaller practice, every time I reached out to customer support I was speaking to a different person. DO NOT USE TALKIATRY!!!Talkiatry

Absolutely ridiculous company. I was told that each appointment would be $15 since my insurance was great and they cover the rest. I checked in on my bills regularly and paid that $15 per visit for months. I had to eventually switch and go somewhere else and I start getting $300 bills for all the appointments very conveniently after I canceled services with them. I checked in multiple times to make sure it really was $15 per appointment and to see what my bills were. I was reassured that was the case each time and never had any reason to doubt that. It is a scam. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM EVER!!Talkiatry

I usually dont trust reviews because I tend to have positive experiences, but this company is 100% predatory! I was told that my insurance was accepted at the first visit. After the third visit and never hearing that Id be responsible for more than an office visit copay, I received a bill in the mail for almost $1k- for 2 hours of therapy. I and to use my entire employer contribution for the whole year to my HSA to cover it. Had I known that after the first visit, I could have tried something else. Therapy in person and out of pocket in my major metro area is less than that for 3 sessions! Not being told of the impending charges is predatory and the cost absolutely ridiculous.Talkiatry
