There is an account showing on my consumer credit report in which it shows I filed bankruptcy, and I have contacted the courts and verified with them that they do not provide or give information to said credit agency as the clerk stated to me. So, I am requesting that this be deleted from my credit profile immediate as it was obtained fraudulently by this agency. Reporting requirements do not comply with FCRA 611 (15 U.S.C. 1681I). It is this agencies job to report correct and accurate information and thru laws they are in violation of my consumer rights. Said company cannot report incorrect information on my consumer report also without my written consent to do so as per violation of said consumer rights via **** code of law and ************************ law. Also they are reporting said information to fellow credit agencies such as transunion, equifax, and experian in which all are showing incorrect/different filing names, number, and court information in which all 3 companies advised they received information from company ***** nexis. 15 U.S.Code 1681a - Definitions; rules of construction 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reportsBusiness Response

The bankruptcy information in my credit file is a result of unauthorized use of my social security number and other personal details. These accounts do not relate to anything I authorized or participated in. Additionally, the information on my report does not comply with Metro 2 credit reporting standards. On 10/17/2022 my daughter was involved in an at fault accident. This was reported to my insurance company at the time, ****. The claim was filed and closed. I have since switched insurance companies and my rates have increased. When asked why, I was told I have an at fault accident against me as reported by LexisNexis. I reached out to clarify that the accident was not mine, but my daughters who is no longer on my insurance. I followed up with **** and they confirmed the information they have is correct and shows my daughter was at fault, and LexisNexis is incorrectly reporting it. I have reached out to get this corrected but have been unsuccessful. This is significantly impacting my ability to afford insurance and my current provider is dropping me because of it.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The requested information was sent back to LexisNexis in September 2024, but never received a response. They continue to ask for my SSN, DOB, proof of address, all of which have been given multiple times. I feel at this time, the only resolution is to file a lawsuit against LexisNexis for falsifying information.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Hello,
I am writing to you today to let you know that LexisNexis has not actually responded or provided a solution to my concerns. LexisNexis's response was basically that they will respond to me. To this date, I have not heard from LexisNexis. The issue is very simple and LexisNexis is utilizing stall tactics. I have asked them to delete my personal information on DPA report pursuant to the rights granted by California Privacy laws. A request that I have filed in the past with many financial institutions and enterprises and they have all complied with my request without any issues. The deletion of th information on my DPA [ Data Privacy Act] report is clearly within the scope of the California privacy Act and IT IS NOT PUBLIC INFORMATION. I would greatly appreciate your help with this matter.
