Recently, I received a copy of my consumer report which showed multiple wrong names, multiple outdated addresses, and phone numbers. I cannot receive mail nor do I have access to any of those addresses therefore, it has to be deleted. I have demanded my social security number, date of birth and year of birth be removed for privacy reasons. I have sent LEXISNEXIS a certified mail letter June 10, 2024, and I have yet to receive a response from LEXISNEXIS concerning this matter.Business Response

Received a letter from LexisNexis via **** in March, 2024 offering a free Consumer Disclosure report. I applied on line and they sent a response via **** with a website link and PIN to view the report on line. Tried to log into their site on April 15, 2024, but got error message "Invalid PIN". Called and spoke to a support agent on April 15th. He watched my log-in attempt on their system and confirmed the failure. He agreed to send a free, printed copy of the entire report via **** within ~7-10 days.I never received the report. Called LexisNexis on May 14, 2024. The support agent insisted the printed report had been mailed, but agreed to send it again for free. Today is June 12, 2024 and I still have not received the report. I get **** Informed Delivery emails every morning with images of all mail to be delivered that day. I have not been notified of any incoming mail from LexisNexis since April when the first copy was supposed to have been sent. So I know the report(s) hasn't been mis-delivered or stolen from my personal mailbox. How do I get LexisNexis to finish the job and provide a free, full printed copy of my Consumer Disclosure without further delays?Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[Your Answer Here]
Why does LexisNexis need more to comply with a simple request for a free printed copy of my Consumer's Disclosure report? I requested it online in April (failed), I requested a printed copy by phone in April (never received) and again by phone in May (never received). All they have to do is mail the printed copy. It appears LexisNexis is just delaying and refusing to comply.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.
For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and mail a more fulsome response to the consumer. We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.
If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.
And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.Customer Answer

I have had numerous issues with companies handling my personal information that stems back to LexisNexis and the information that they have on file for me. It is incorrect and has reverted to an address from many years back.I don't have the time to search for how to correct this and the information is very hard to find. I have already lost time to this issue as it is impacting my life in many ways. For example: It shows that I am driving with an expired license when I apply for car insurance and I am not currently able to change my address. They have accused me of fraud and the process to change my address has resulted in multiple additional time consuming administrative tasks to complete. I also believe that my signature from a petition was invalid because the clerk's office uses the system to verify addresses.I would like LexisNexis to follow up with me directly on any information that they can provide about how and why my personal information has been handled this way. I would like for them to provide me with documentation of who has received incorrect information if that is available. I want them to correct the information with the public information that is available and correct. I want to know when my information reverted to incorrect information. I want to know who changed my information and why. I want for LexisNexis to be accountable for their error.Business Response

I highly recommend people check out your LexisNexis consumer report. www.consumer.risk.lexisnexis.com as mine was so **** up. I wondered why I had issues renewing car and homeowners insurance and ************** uses them for "risks". lexisNexis had me as a Pa and OH driver, living in several states, multiple addresses and employers. The *** derves to be fired overseeing this fraud of a company. 87 items in "their" report were incorrect and were supposedly removed from my file. Then, with this letter, I get the link and PIN to see my updated report, which does not work, then spend 30 minutes on hold to get an agent, then 20 more minutes to be told it was bad link or pin and have to wait 7 to 14 days for a report to be mailed. Being a credit guy at work, I guarantee that I would never use them for credit information on a potential customer.I am asking that ********************** sends my correct report to every person or business, that requested my report from them for the last 5 years, with a letter to those people and businesses that requested the report explaining that my report was filled with fraudulent errors, misinformation, and that LexisNexis apologizes to these creditors for the wrong information given to them and if my credit and insurance was denied it was because of the of their "false" report. Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I had called the customer support number and spent a half hour going over all the incorrect information. She told me that a letter would be going out for me to access a corrected report. When I did receive the letter, the user code that they sent (since they do not do user names/passwords to access your information) was not valid. Another call with 30 minutes hold time, that agent told me they would mail me the updated report which I would not have to go onto the website. They did not and sent me another letter with an access code to get online. That also did not work because they had sent out yet another code which rendered the first one I received as invalid. Finally the week of July 1st, I recieved the third overall letter with the access code. Upon logging on to the site and printing out the *************************************************************************************************** fact, I was in an automobile accident on 3-31-2022, and they have the person who caused the accident listed as my spouse. Interesting considering I am single. They still have me listed as living at addresses that I have never lived, states that I never lived, being a licensed driver in states that I did not live. LexisNexis needs to let all companies know, who have received "my file" from them in the last three years, that it was and is laden with errors and if any/all credit or insurance was declined or cancelled may have been due to their faulty report. In fact, ************** dropped me as an automobile insurance customer due to the report supplied by **********************. I have had since had to find another carrier at double the price. LexisNexis failed to make the requested corrections on the report within the required time as allowed by the Fair Credit Act and have violated the law and need to settle with me to prevent this from being reported to the all the regulatory agencies of the state and federal governments. If they do not get my filed corrected by the 9th of August, I will have to further proceed with my legal council and if this has happened to more people in their database, this could result in class action status. Thank you BBB for your previous, current and definately future assistance in this matter. Repsectfully, ******************* *****.

My home Insurance policy was just received and increased 30% (adversely affected) due to an insurance score from LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. I contacted LexisNexis to get a copy of my report as I'm positive they have incorrect information in it. LexisNexis could not verify who I was with my name, address, birth date and DC driver's license number. I would not give them my SSN. Therefore they will not send me a report and I cannot dispute the content. It appears they have errors in their data collection, and I can't review what they've collected. They won't send a pdf of the insurance report to me, yet they want me to send a pdf of my current driver's license. They are mining my personal data.Business Response
