      I requested my consumer report and was sent a letter with instruction to access. The pin does not work and wont let me access my documents. I tried submitting a help ticket online but the website is not allowing me to. I also called but cant get anyone on the phone. I also tried to resubmit a request but the site wont allow me to either. I emailed them with no response. The next step is seeking a lawyer. I don't know what else to do.

      I recently reviewed my consumer report and identified several items that need to be disputed. The presence of these inaccuracies has caused me significant emotional distress, and I have felt suicidal lately as a result. I demand that this matter be resolved in a fair and equitable manner, which hasnt been done. There are many violations of the **** including the permissable purpose and exclusion section. This is Fraud and identity theft and I am attaching the supporting documentation. I want everything zI listed deleted. I didnt give you permission to store nor give away this information and I dont know how they got it. I never gave anyone information to give my information to you

      LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.

      For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.  We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

      If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.  

      And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.

      Lexis Nexis has added erroneous information to my report that belongs to a completely different person, and as a result had my car insurance cancelled. I have been dealing with lexis nexis for over 2 months having to re-dispute the inaccurate information again and again. The incompetence of lexis nexis has put an incredible burden on my self dealing with them and my insurance. I need someone from management to contact me to have my report corrected.       The nature of the dispute I am having is an incorrect posting of information on an accident that Lexisnexis claims I was a part of. I have spoken with the *** of my city and they clarified that there was no accident reported for the timeframe they are stating of 2018. I am attempting to dispute the issue but this requires a 'case number'. It is impossible to acquire a case number as this interaction never took place. This is causing my insurance company to nearly double my insurance payment. It is impossible to reach someone over their toll free number and this is a clear violation of Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Something needs to be done about this.

      The home record for *************************************************************************************** has insurance claims on file on April 28th, 2023 and October 2nd, 2022 that were not filed by the sole owner/occupant of the house. Lexisnexis has confirmed my consumer report has no claims, but is unwilling to remove the claims associated with my house nor provide any details other than the claims were submitted by USAA. I have contacted USAA and they confirmed that I do not nor never had a USAA account thus I have never submitted a claim. This incorrect information/fraudulent claims are hindering my ability to obtain insurance for my home.

      I recently received and reviewed my LexisNexis credit file dated 4/12/2024. I found that LexisNexis is reporting inaccurate personal information on my credit file without my consent, and I need the it deleted immediately. Inaccurate Names: ****** A *****, ************, **************************, ***********************, S *****, ****** A *****, ****** A. and ************ A. Awor. Inaccurate Addresses: *****************************************************, *************************************************************, ******************************************************, ******************************************************, **********************************************************, ************************************************, **************************************************, *****************************************************************************************, **********************************************************************************************************, ************************************-***************************************************************************************, ********************************************************************, and ****************************************. According to 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2 (A)(1), No person shall furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Also, reporting of my personal information without my consent violates my right to privacy under 15 U.S. Code 1681b. I have the right to privacy and do not appreciate the violation of my consumer rights as stated in the ***** Please mail me a corrected copy of my credit file asap. I wrote this complaint alone and without help.

      I filled out the LexisNexis form for "Temporarily Lift or Permanently Remove a Security Freeze on Your Credit Report" two months ago. I was told I would get a letter in the **** mail confirming the freeze was removed. I did not receive a letter. I contacted LexisNexis directly via email asking about this about 3 times, and each time, they replied with a generic response that didn't address this issue. They gave me a phone number to call, but when I called it, it was only automated menus and was not helpful. I want Lexis Nexis to permanently remove my security freeze, and send me a confirmation that it has been completed.

      I go to buy insurance. And the insurance company tell me I have to tickets in *******. I go to the dmv website I have no ticket in my name. ***************** gives me lexusnexis number. I call the they inform me that I also have tickets in ********** they give a municipality and a case number. I call the municipality and the tell me there is no such case number in ********** have them run my name no tickets in ** for me. Also I find out that the tickets in ** are the same exact tickets in ******* on the same day. Why is this not red flagged before thrown on my consumer report. So I call back ask them what company they use to source there information they would not give it me also asked what program they used to search information wouldnt give it to me. I can understand identity theft, but the bad sourcing of information. it took them one day to put bad information on my consumer report but 30 days to take it off. They talked to me longer on the phone than it would take to solve this problem. This incident has caused my insurance premiums to go up. And one insurance company would even insure me.

      I am writing to demand immediate action regarding the inaccurate and outdated information reported by LexisNexis to ****************************** This erroneous data has led to the unjust non-renewal of my home insurance policy, severely impacting my ability to secure affordable coverage from other carriers. Your blatant mishandling of my personal information is not only unacceptable but also a serious invasion of my privacy.The issues are:1. The data you provided to Mapfre is incorrect as I have paid my home insurance regularly and never missed a payment. This misinformation has directly resulted in the cancellation of my policy.2. Your unauthorized dissemination of false information about me constitutes a serious breach of my privacy 3. You failed to notify me about these inaccuracies before reporting them to Mapfre, depriving me of any opportunity to correct them.4. The information being used is not only false but also outdated, compounding the damage done to my insurance standing.Due to your gross negligence, ****** has refused to renew my policy, and other carriers are now unwilling to provide me with new coverage. This has put me in a precarious financial situation and is causing significant stress. I demand that LexisNexis take the following actions immediately:a. Correct the inaccurate information in your records and ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.b. Communicate these corrections to ***************************** without delay, so they can reconsider their unjust decision to cancel my policy.c.       The complaint is NOT resolved until I get the appropriate answer from the company. They claimed they will or have sent a letter with an explanation just to appear in front of BBB as a company who answered their claims. FALSE. This is not resolved until  I get the letter in the mail stating that they have fixed the error and update my credit score appropriately following up with an apology and a compensation for the damage. Because of their inaccuracy and lack of professionalism my financial and personal life have been negatively impacted. I had to change my insurance and pay higher rates because they keep old scores and most of the insurance companies reject customers with low credit scores which is NOT my case. I'm wondering how they will compensate the damage they have caused me.

      Thank you BBB for allowing customers a voice against the insensitive, impersonal and careless companies.
