LexisNexis is reproting a Bankruptcy on my credit report and they have put in the Data furnisher as being the U.S. BANKRUPTCY COURT NORTHERN DISTRICT OF *******. Which is false.I have attached a letter from the U.S. BANKRUPTCY COURT NORTHERN DISTRICT OF *******. A dispute was opened against LexisNexis (case #************ in regards to an "At-Fault" accident being shown on my CLUE report, resulting in higher insurance rates for myself, which is inaccurate as I have not been in an at-fault accident on the date listed. After contacting State Farm to get confirmation, LexisNexis is showing that a glass claim is being inaccurately reported as an at-fault accident on my CLUE report.I have given LexisNexis the information from State Farm that shows that I was not involved in an accident, and that this is only a glass claim. After submitting this information to LexisNexis, I have only heard back once from an automated email asking me to send in additional documents to prove my identity, which was already done prior to this email (***********).LexisNexis has been unresponsive to my emails and is not willing to resolve this case.Business Response

I just heard about this company and how it is used by auto insurance to determine rates and eligibility. I was looking to switch car insurance because my rates was too high. I was told by companies I could not obtain coverage because of this third party having me listed as liable for every accident Ive had. I was also given an astronomical quote by progressive for 900 a month for coverage I contacted my current carrier State Farm and they claim that I only have one accident that I was made liable which is true out of four. I want this to be fix and know what I need to do to fix such an awful and sneaky way to hold insurance customers paying more for their coverage for accidents that were not their fault. I have a police report for one and two others I was not in the car. How can I be liable when I wasnt even in the car and was hit in a parking lot and they left While i was shopping ? I had to make a claim to my insurance but making a claim and being held liable is two different things. Attach is a police report with a witness that clearly states I was not at fault. On March 11 2024, I sent a letter to the bankruptcy courthouse asking do they report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus and I got a letter stating that They do not report any bankruptcies or update information to the credit bureaus. So if thats the case, How did the credit bureaus verify my bankruptcy as 100% Accurate? They never did a fair investigation according to the 15 U.S.C ******* U.S.C 1681 section 603 (3)(E) States; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or whom may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer.They violated my rights numerous times.The credit bureaus violated my given rights under 15 U.S.C 1681.According to: 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.
For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.? We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.
If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.??

I tried to retrieve my data, opt out of data sharing, and delete my data.I submitted two requests on the website, and both times I received a letter stating that they couldn't verify me based on the data I provided. That means they have incorrect data on **** then called on April 22. I waited for 30 minutes on hold and eventually spoke to somebody. It seemed like she had trouble finding me in their system, but at some point she said that their systems were down and somebody would call me back later that evening.
