On 12/26/2023, I was made aware that LexisNexis was providing Claims/Loss History to insurance companies that was incorrect. The history belonged to someone else, but LexisNexis has it listed under my name. I attempted to get a copy of my personal consumer report from LexisNexis but it was rejected because they cannot 'authenticate my identity'. I provided a copy of my social security card and Driver's license as requested. ********************** is still refusing to provide my report. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires them to provide this to me within 30 days of my request. Because of the erroneous loss history, I am unable to obtain auto insurance. I have made multiple calls (12) to their customer service and am told that they will file my disputes. Then I receive another letter saying that they cannot authenticate my identity. I still do not have my report and I still cannot get auto insurance. I asked them to remove my name from the other persons record-my name is listed as an alternative name, but was told that the other person needed to request removing my name. MY name, From someone else's account

Contrary to my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, LexisNexis has failed to provide any proof of disputed items, especially when those disputed items have remained on the report. Consumer Number: ******** and Case Number: ********: On Total Pages 5 of 42: - *************** is not my name. (inaccuracy) - **************** is not my name. (inaccuracy) This record needs to be disputed. - 09/28/9999 is not my date of birth. (inaccuracy) On Total Pages 6 of 42: - *************************************************************** is not a valid address (inaccuracy) and is contained within multiple entries (on Total Pages 7-9 of 42) within this report. - ********, ** ***** is not a valid address (inaccuracy) - INVALID is not one of my phone numbers. This seems to be an erroneous entry because ************************* *********************************************************************** is an unrecognized source. (inaccuracy) On Total Pages 14 of 42: - Under Record 3, name "****************" is invalid. (inaccuracy) On Total Pages 21 of 42: - Under Record 3, I was never licensed in ** nor have a date of birth of 9/XX/9999 (invalid birth year; inaccuracy). - Under Record 2 (at the bottom of the page), the court never ruled a conviction of "EXCEED 65 OR 70 MPH FOR ALL VEHICLES BY 21 MPH." The conviction was, as the record (Record 1) right above states and rather, "VIOLATE HAZARD REGULATION." On Total Pages 22 of 42: - Under Record 3, it says the conviction was "48/25 SP." The conviction was, as the record (Record 4) below states and rather, "34/25 SPEED." Also, the **** report contains a claim for $0, which has been previously disputed; LexisNexis has both a) been negligent in removing this from my **** report, b) been unable to provide any documentation of proof of the legitimacy of that entry, and c) been unable to provide the full due process for how the legitimacy of that entry was allegedly verified.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.

For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.? We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.??

And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.

Since May 7 of 2023, I am trying to persuade LexisNexis to correct its record of my ************************************************************************ /and No Fault NF (see the attached file - pages 1 and 2 of abbreviations used by LexisNexis).LexisNexis indicated the accident as collision (see the attached file - **** on page 3). As a result of this mistake I was forced to pay more money for my auto insurance). Many my letters sent to LexisNexis have not brought the desired result. Formally the documents showed that the company placed the record provided by *****. It is logical but when I asked to get this in writing my request was ignored. Only in October the company decided to reinvestigate the case. I was informed that my statement about vandalism was correct. But again the company refused to send a written conclusion. Moreover, when after many letters I was able to see the corrected file, the result of the so-called reinvestigation, I found out that the corrected record doesnt contain **** but instead it is written that The consumer states this incident was a result of vandalism. (see pages 4 and 5 of the attached file). This was a false statement since this was *****s determination. LexisNexis knew that since I provided this company with a letter from *****. LexisNexis spent 1 month for its so-called reinvestigation motivating it by the statement the data being reported as unverifiable (see page 6 of the attached file). But its above indicated statement is a lie since ***** record indicates vandalism. Here is ***** record (File Number ********; Date of Loss: February 11, 2022. Claim Number: ****************): the claim from February 11, 2022, is listed as Vandalism/Malicious Mischief in the complainants auto policy record. LexisNexis should have this information and I sent it as well (a copy of the letter signed by ********************, Senior Director of *****).However, LexisNexis preferred to protect *************** because it is its client.I again start writing complaints demanding to state clearly that the accident was not my fault.By phone an employee of LexisNexis told me that ***** asked the company dont write WMM or NF, asked me to fill the company form and promised to reinvestigate again. On January 18, 2024 I received a letter with a PIN to see the correction which didnt contain as if my statement The consumer states this incident was a result of vandalism. (see page 6 of the attached file). The document states LexisNexis completed a reinvestigation. Consumer states that this record detail is not associated to them. We have received the information from our Insurance Policy Records and determined that the data being reported as accurate. But the source was ***** (see page 7 of the attached file). There was no any second reinvestigation to establish the proper cause of the accident NF and WMM. Now the record looks even worse than with the statement that I reported the cause of the accident. Moreover, this was a silly record since the company has no right to publish unverifiable information. It is obvious that LexisNexis protects *************** since it is its client. It is possible to assume that ***** decided to retaliate when I decided to choose another insurance not to pay its too high increased premium and it reported collision to LexisNexis. But when I reported that this was false information and asked reinvestigation LexisNexis refused to indicate NF and WMM because it followed the ***** instruction. Moreover, during 9 months it ignored my letters, sent several times wrong PINs, returned letters demanding each time documents proving my identity, provided phone numbers which didnt allow to speak with a real person, etc. Only when I threatened to sue the company they promised reinvestigations which , as it follows from the above material, were a fraud.Because of LexisNexis fraudulent actions I continue paying more for auto insurance and lost a lot of time/nerves on tens of letters and phone calls. The company must correct the current record and compensate my losses.Sincerely,*********************************** ***

      [Your Answer Here]

This company continue lying and dont show any desire to provide any honest information. It makes money  by creating  insurance companies data and selling it.
From May 2023 it refuses to delete its false statement that I had a car collision accident and write that it was vandalism and not my fault.  I  presented a detailed information proving that the company lies. They havent answered any of my statements supported by the documents and preferred  to write: LexisNexis will carefully review your concerns and will mail a response directly to you. Nothing has happened. Moreover, they ignore my emails requiring all times copies of documents proving my identity. The have them and my phone calls are also useless. I tried all this.
LexisNexis disregards the BBB by sending such response. Please, demand from them a detailed response related to my claims. I am a world-known scientist and formulated all precisely. My complaint contains all information to conclude that this is a team of  dishonest persons. I would be thankful if you could provide me with the name of their president (or a registered agent  who represent the company in a court). I ask you also to inform the Attorney General of Georgia about this company. This will save my time since this should be done.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Yesterday I received 4 letters from Lexis Nexis ( in reality, it was  2 letters sent twice dated  August 19, 2024) . As if they are opening a new complaint and ask to identify myself. This is again the same bureaucratic procedure, etc.  ************ either consists of incompetent persons of  it tries to fool customets. More than  50 pages came without any substance.  It looks like they make a lot of money andallow themselves to spend paper sending letters with an empty material.

The material they contains copies of their previous conclusions.  It includes LexisNexis initial  conclusio that it was a colision **** and they indicate that this was based on *****'s report. Then they defend their reinvestigation which was done based on ***** information.

However, they didn't read attentively (or deliberartely missed)  the letter (see the attached file) of ********************, senior  director of *****,

which contains:The claim from February 11, 2022, is listed as Vandalism/Malicious Mischief in the complainants
      auto policy record.

This is the ***** determination based on their repair shop information.  My ***** case contains pictures of the demaged parts, which show that it is impossible to imagine any possible collision car accident. I wrote about that and it is still not clear why NexisLexis continue stating that the customer ( that is I) said that it was the result of vandalism.  This hurts to my driving records and increases my auto insurance. Why do they refuse at least to copy the ***** conclusion?

Ancident, that is not mine, supposed to be removed from C.L.U.E., but it is still there. Everytime I call, I'm being told that it was removed and everytime I get the report it is still there.Every copy of report I received still contains the accident that I was assured was removed. In the letter you send stating that it was removed, LexisNexis didn't even put an effort to state what was removed.Either get the job done or start paying for my insurance.

My insurance company based my rate on a report they received from LexisNexis. I requested this report so I could review it. I received the report and a letter about how to dispute it in the mail. I emailed my dispute to the email they provided and it came back as the mailbox is full. I called the business and was told that was not the right email address and made the correction adding what they told me to the address as instructed and suggested they make that correction on their correspondence. I tried to email my dispute to them and again it was rejected as the mailbox is full. When I called them on the phone, they said they wanted to verify my identity. I gave them Case Number and offered the Consumer Number so they could look me up which is also the instructions on the letter they sent me. I even gave them my name, address, phone number and date of birth. I **** the line at my driver's license number and full social security number. I have worked in fraud for a number of years, and I am very uncomfortable giving information over the telephone to that degree especially considering the company had already sent me a full report and should already have all that information as the insurance company gave it to them to access my information. I made my feelings clear and said I would email the dispute. This report has affected my pocketbook as I wish to see what I can do to resolve anything that affected Progressives rate as soon as possible. I feel there is no satisfactory remedy but to file this complaint. I think this is bad business and think it's a valid complaint as I expect there are a lot of other people being affected.

This complaint is for SageStream LLC which is a company owned by Nexis Lexis Risk Solutions Center, ** *** ****** ******* **. **********. I applied for a new car loan with ********************************* in ******* **. on or about 9/16/2023. I was turned down for the loan because this company reported my credit score as a 546, which ************ Experian all have had me for years between a ******* credit score.I asked for a credit report and got which had numerous things wrong with my report. I sent them a dispute letter on 10/4/2023 by CERTIFIED mail and got the receipt back with a signature on it which I can't read. They said I would get a response within 30 days and today is 1/3/2024. I took 10 years to correct my credit score and I have kept it good for **** years now. I take my credit score very seriously and they should have the decency to respond back to me when they said they would. I asked them to investigate my disputes and correct my score and send all of the companies and myself a corrected score and an apology for giving them a wrong score on me. ************** **** III

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The business provided no resolution whatsoever. They claim they will follow up with me by mail. I demand any response is sent here within the BBB portal so BBB can review and have access. Until I receive a satisfactory response and explanation, my complaint remains valid, and I renew my complaint. I demand a prompt response.

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

      Sincerely,

      Business Response

LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.

For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.  We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.

      Brief timeline of BBB complaints:

      On 01/04/2024, 1st BBB complaint,  the consumer stated, **** ** *** **** ********** ** **** ******* ** ***** *** *** ******* * ****** **** *********** *** *** ******** *** *** *** ********* *** ******** *** ** ***** *** *** ********* ** ******* ** *********** * ** *** * ********* *** **** ********** ******** ** ***** ******** **."

On 01/09/2024, LexisNexis processed an opt out and sent the consumer a copy of the opt out confirmation letter by mail because this is the only way to send the letter and to show that the opt out was processed.

      On 01/19/2024, 2nd BBB complaint, the consumer stated, " *** ******** ******** ** ********** *********** **** ***** **** **** ****** ** **** ** ** ***** * ****** *** ******** ** **** **** ****** *** *** ****** ** *** *** ****** *** **** ******* ***** * ******* * ************ ******** *** ************ ** ********* ******* ****** *** * ***** ** ********** * ****** * ****** *********"

01/27/2024, LexisNexis sent the consumer another opt out confirmation letter by mail.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: the business refuses to respond to my complaint electronically. I do not have access to nor do I consent to physical mailings. The business claims it will not respond in the BBB portal due to privacy concerns. Nonetheless, the business has a duty to communicate to me in an efficient and practical matter electronically upon my request. I request the business email me, and I consent to unencrypted email, or to send me an electronic message using encrypted email delivery or its own encrypted messaging portal. I have not received any letter mailed by the business and do not consent to any mailings. I again renew my complaint and demand an electronic response outside of the BBB forum.
