      On December 14, 2023 I received a letter from ******************** after a quote request stating my insurance premium has been affected by information received byLexis Nexis.I requested a consumer report from Lexis Nexis as the factors affecting my insurance were false. Reasons **** open accounts with high balances (I do not carry balances on accounts other than mortgage), ****, accounts established, **** time since most recent derogatory public record (10 years) and insufficient information on department store accounts( I have no department store accounts). Along with this false information was my daily driving history including my start and stop times, miles driven, braking and acceleration. At no time did I ever give any company permission to record this kind of information. I also never gave any credit reporting agency permission to give my credit history to Lexis Nexis. I live in ******* and it is extremely difficult to get homeowners insurance. Due to this false report I have been either denied homeowners or have had my premium increased despite the fact that I have never had an insurance claim.

      I placed a Security Freeze on my Lexis Nexis/Sagestream Consumer Report back on December 2, 2016. If there is a Security Freeze placed on my consumer report, then Lexis Nexis does not have the authorization to share my consumer report or any information on my report with third parties. On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, I received a credit denial letter from SMARTPAY stating that they obtained information from one or more consumer reporting agencies as part of their consideration of my application. The notification listed LexisNexis Risk Solutions Bureau, LLC and SageStream, LLC as their sources of reporting agencies. I have attached two documents: Proof that my Lexis Nexis Consumer Report has an ACTIVE SECURITY FREEZE since December 2, 2016 and Proof that Lexis Nexis/SageStream were listed as sources of consumer reporting agencies that provided my report under an ACTIVE SECURITY FREEZE.

      I have sent numerous disputes asking this company to send me written proof of two bankruptcies they are reporting about me and it's damaging my reputation and making it hard for me to obtain credit. Every time they respond with a generic letter stating they verified this information with a company called PACER instead of the courts who are listed as the furnisher of this information not PACER. They even say in their response that PACER is just a system of records and that the US Bankruptcy Court may not provide the information directly (this statement clearly violates my right to privacy and they openly admit to it). The **** clearly outlines I have a right to Privacy as well as the Privacy Act of 1974 and it states you can't use a system of records for verification. They are also in violation as they share my Social Security Number with another entity without my written permission or consent.

      This is just another stall tatic they use to accomplish nothing and they will not provide me with the results that I requested.  They continue to dismiss my complaint and not conduct a full on investigation and provide me with the necessary documents like I have provided to them proof of what I am complaining about.  My next step is to seek financial remedy for failure to follow the law of the **** 1681 (permisable purpose) in reporting something about me without having a reason to do so without my written consent.

      Recently I was looking into renewing my car insurance when I was informed that my rates would be extremely and unexplicably high. As I came to find out, Lexis Nexis attached someone else's driving record and accidents to my name. The driver who had the accidents has the same birthday as me and while I understand this might have been a clerical error, I reached out to the company 5 times over the past month via email and have called multiple numbers but have received no response on how they will fix this issue. The person whose driving record they have attached to my own has two accidents on their record that occured in July... here is a copy of the information regarding that issue that I sent to Lexis Nexis: "My name is *******************************, DOB: 06/03/1998 and two accidents that were not mine have been put on my Lexis Nexis account causing a point to be added to my license and my insurance premium to be higher. The two accidents in question are:-7/5/2023: ********************************************************** crashed a 2017 ***** Trax in ******** (VIN: *****) with Geico Claim: **************** Payout: $1828 -7/13/2023: ***** *********************** crashed a **** Chrysler Touring in ******** (VIN: *****) with Geico Claim: **************** Payout: $0 The insured driver for both these accidents was **********************************************************, from ********, ********, born 06/03/1998. I am not sure if this person's accidents were put on my record due to clerical error or because some fraud is taking place, but I can say with 100% certainty that I do not know either of these people and I have never even been to ********. Furthermore, I have NOT had a Geico Policy for approximately 5 years now, as I switched to Progressive when I was 20."Lexis Nexis has not fixed this issue nor responded and my insurance rates are being affected becuase of it. I have given them a month to resolve the issue and according to their own policy, they must resolve the issue within 30 days, and it has now been 30+ days.

      I had an eviction expunged from my record on 9/15/23. On 11/5/23 I applied for an apartment and a background screening was conducted through Lexis Nexis Risk solutions. The eviction appeared on the tenant screening report. I filed a dispute with Lexis Nexis at that time including a copy of the Judge's order of dismissal (expungement documents) and waited the 30 days as by law they have 30 days to investigate the dispute and respond. On 12/14/23 I spoke with someone at Lexis Nexis who stated they did not take the eviction off my report. I have reached out to an attorney who states by law because of the expungement it has to be taken off my screening report per the Fair Credit Reporting Act . This result is preventing me from moving out of an unsafe neighborhood

      To whom may concern,I am asking for your help for clarification. I have Liberty Mutual Auto and *************** I have recieved two letters from LM ************************** On behalf of ************************ and LexisNexis *************** in regards to a motor vehicle conviction.Therefore I contacted Liberty Mutual they could not provide me any specific details in reference to the conviction however warned me of possible increase of my premium. I reached out to LexisNexis earlier this year and was told a driving infraction of speeding ***** miles over the speed limit on a motorcycle on Sept 5, 2022. was recorded to the **** I requested a record of this infracfion. Which was never recieved, I then referred back to Liberty Mutual whom had no plate, no ticket, or knowledge of the location of the infraction. After a month passed I never heard back from either company. Meanwhile I went to the **** there was No Infractions nor any record of me owning a motorcycle. Today Dec 14, 2023 I recieved another letter of another driving conviction. Once again I called Liberty Mutual, they could not give me any information in regard of the conviction. I called LexisNexis I was not able to speak with a representative, and yet again requested a copy of my driving record and lo of the conviction. Please note, I am an government employee, and a commercial license holder. My driving record is monitored regularly, I never recieved a ticket, or any other documentation from the **** Sadly my insurance company is talking the credit word of this third party company whom has fail to produce ANY record of these convictions I have been accused of. I am frustrated and I have a right to know what I'm being wrongfully accused. Rathertthan just increasing my iinsurance with no options of rendering assistance. Nor to protect me and clear my driving record from any further false accusation, for company gain. It is unfair and unlawful.Thank you in advance ************* ***********

      LexisNexis keeps messing up my wife's **** report by adding accident information of another person that shares the same name as my wife. This has been an ongoing issue for nearly 20 years now. I was shopping for auto insurance and am denied insurance coverage until issue is resolved, and I am not able to reach any human at LexisNexis to resolve the issue.Due to the errors in the **** report, I am unable to purchase auto insurance from a different provider than my current provider. My current provider increased my policy premium over $1800 for 6 months from the previous period.
