Received a letter from ********************* that they received a letter from Lexis Nexis on my insurance score and credit-based. In the letter it states to contact Lexis Nexis for a copy of the this report, however they refuse. They want me name, date of birth, and SSN, and address. However because they can't validate address, despite validating the report and giving it to my insurance company I can't have it. If my name, date of birth and SSN match, then Lexis Nexis is intentionally blocking consumers from receiving their report.Business Response

I fail to see how sending me a letter indicates a resolution and consumer protection, especially when the company in question cannot validate said address! LexisNexis is intentionally keeping consumers at a distance while performing at a for profit to other companies. This makes no sense what so ever. Have filed a consumer complaint with the state attorney generals office as well.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Today, I reviewed my credit reports and found inaccurately reported accounts. It has come to my attention that ************************* some of which are owned by the major ************************* (CRAs), have collectively violated my consumer rights as defined by the ***** Specifically, the following companies: 1ST DIGITAL/SYNOVUS/VT - **************** has consistently reported erroneous information. This situation has caused me a whole lot of distress and has adversely affected my family in various ways. *********/LVNV FUNDING- **************** was listed with the Same Account Number on my Experian Credit Report inaccurately, under Two different accounts every month! This is Negligent and Damaging to my credit. Delete both of these accounts now! My commitment to resolving this issue led me to conduct thorough research and document the violations against my consumer rights, as follows: 1. Violation of the **** under 15 U.S Code ****a(2)(B): Exclusions from a consumer report. 2. Violation of 15 U.S Code ****b: Permissible purpose of consumer reports. I have never authorized anyone to share or report my information. 3. Violation of 15 U.S. Code ****e(b): Compliance Procedures. 4. Violation of 15 U.S. Code ****i(5): Reporting inaccurate accounts without providing verifiable proof of my requests. Furthermore, I wish to highlight my right to privacy as enshrined in 15 U.S.C Code **** Section 602 A, and Section 604 A, Section 2, which unequivocally states that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions, which I have never provided. In addition to **** violations, there is a violation of the United States Code Law under TILA, 15 U.S. Code 1666(b) Billing error... I must stress that this exhaustive research was conducted entirely by me, without any third-party assistance. Upon reviewing my credit report, I found accounts and it's evident that several of my rights have been violated under United States Code Law, specifically TILA, 15 U.S. Code 1666(b) Billing Error and more. I observed multiple billing errors, as per 15 U.S. Code 1666(b)(4), which says that creditors must accurately reflect payments and credits on statements. Additionally, creditors cannot treat a payment as late for any purpose. The affected accounts are SYNCB/ASHLEY HOME STORES - xxxxxxxxxxxx ****, ************* - xxxxxxxxxxxx ****. Data Furnishers claim that everything is complete and accurate, which is puzzling given the incorrect open dates and dates of last activity, among other discrepancies. According to 15 USC ****(5) they are supposed to modify accounts that isn't reporting correctly. The other ways that my rights have been violated are according to 15 U.S.C **** Section 602 A, and 15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2. These sections affirm my right to privacy and stipulate that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions, which I have not provided. The credit reporting agencies (CRAs) are also reporting late payments on closed accounts, violating my rights under 15 U.S. Code ****e: Compliance Procedures and Accuracy of Report, and 15 U.S. Code ****s2: Responsibilities of furnishers. I have never given permission to share my information, a violation of 15 U.S. Code ****b - Permissible purposes. To the point, this company has sent FALSE information about my driving record to insurance agencies while I am trying to secure the services from said insurance companies; the insurance companies in turn raise the premiums substantially due to FALSE accident reports. Then they (LexisNexis) were demanding very sensitive documents (photos of the Driver's License, Social Security Card, W2 forms, etc.) to authenticate the FALSE RECORDS that they CLAIM they have against me on their website! This cannot seriously be legal. LexisNexis then stated that they could not use the reference ID number that THEY SUBMITTED to the insurance companies in regard to the "accident" I was involved in, nor could they "authenticate" (or verify) that their claim was legitimate using my FULL name, my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, my DL NUMBER, my BIRTHDATE, etc. I also took the liberty of contacting law enforcement and made a compliant as well as had them run the DL number. Wouldn't you know it, no accidents (ever!) in my history of driving! I also obtained a legitimate, LEGAL copy of the driving record via the *** website for over a period of TEN YEARS and sent that via their (LexisNexis) website with my case number showing that there are no accidents on my record!! I am providing the *** as absolute proof that they are issuing FALSE information to insurance companies. The case number is ********. Resolution: I want that false information removed IMMEDIATELY.Business Response

I asked for the information on the person or department that Certified that I resided at all 42 addresses on my consumer reports that LexisNexis SageStream was furnishing to other reporting agencies and had for me on my LexisNexis SageStream files. I was told that they didn't furnish anything Certified by them (****) to LexisNexis SageStream that they (LexisNexis SageStream) are claiming for address information being reported.
