The Lexis Nexis collected and provided all wrong records about my drivings in the past. They dont know anything about people's driving records then provide the wrong information that affects the premium of my car insurance. I cant afford it anymore due to their reckless intentions. They must be held accountable for what they provided. We cant let them make money out of unfortunate financial detriments. All the accidents happened in my past were from other sides and I got compensated from the other sides's insurance companies. The Lexis Nexis got no clues to blame it on me that unreasonably made my monthly payment to hiigh. I am filing a complaint against LexisNexis for including a civil judgment on my consumer file that is inaccurate, unverified, and the result of identity theft.Specifically, a civil judgment was reported under my name Case No. ****************** ********************* v. ***** *******, filed in **************, *****. I was never legally served in this case and only learned of its existence when I reviewed my LexisNexis report.I contacted the court directly, and they confirmed I was never served, which renders the judgment invalid under Texas law. Furthermore, I filed a formal FTC Identity Theft Report at *****************, as I believe my personal information was used fraudulently.Despite this, LexisNexis continues to report the judgment, causing significant harm to my reputation and access to housing and financial services.I have submitted a formal dispute with LexisNexis, along with the *** report and court records. In October 2024, I was involved in an accident at the intersection of ***************** and ************** in ************, **. I stopped at the intersection, visually cleared both directions, and proceeded cautiously. Midway through, I looked left to clear the lane and felt an impact. A red vehicle that had been parked to my right was suddenly beside me with its rear bumper on the ground. The driver immediately stated she had recently been in another accident and paid for the bumper out of pocket. She later claimed I also damaged her ********* vehicle had only a paint scuff, and both vehicles remained aligned after the incident, which raises questions about the extent and cause of the damage. I provided photos and a full statement to ***** and formally requested arbitration due to the lack of clarity and conflicting claims. ***** denied arbitration and initially deemed me 100% at fault. After pressing further, they revised the ruling to 70/30, but never acted on my arbitration request.I am now incurring financial consequences, including increased insurance premiums (at least $50/month), over what I believe was a mishandled and one-sided process. I was not represented fairly, and the outcome could have reasonably been found 50/50 or less. I am requesting the *********************** review this handling for procedural fairness and either require GEICO to re-review the claim or support financial compensation for the long-term cost I will incur due to their refusal to arbitrate.Business Response

I have been shopping around for auto insurance and was informed that LexisNexis CLUE has listed an accident I was in on 04/01/2025 as an At Fault accident. All claim information and documents state that I was not at fault, as well as the statement my insurance company issued. I have tried contacting them through multiple different phone numbers they have listed to dispute the incorrect information that is causing me to see astronomically high insurance rates, yet the pre-recorded message is the same for every number and directs you back to the website where there is no way to submit a dispute of the incorrect information they have listed on my driving record.Business Response

On April 2, 2025, I was denied a car loan based in part on information from **************. The letter I received said "Your credit score: 637 -- Scores range from a low of 1 to a high of 999" This is incorrect. My credit score on the 1 to 999 scale was 844. On other scales it was over 800. I called the number and was pointed to an online site for LexisNexis, who have not properly replied to any of my requests. They sent me a letter with a case number, and a pin to access information online, but the link led to a "Page *** Found". All phone calls point me back to the online portal. I have now filed 3 requests for my information and have gotten no valid responses. Due to their false information I cannot buy a car. I also believe this is a reason why I have not been able to find good jobs, as at some point people just stop interview processes without explanation. I never opted into anything with this company. Never used any of their services, but they have apparently collected information about me, won't disclose that information, and are using this information to make me appear undesirable or risky for a car loan and perhaps more. None of their phone numbers, including the one given here, allow me to talk to a live person. They just point me to the website or lead to an automated system where I have to give out more personal information, and I never get the information I am asking for. All the legitimate credit reporting agencies complied with my request for a copy of my credit report the same day I asked for it. This one hasn't complied and it is now almost 4 weeks later. Why is it so hard for this company to act like a legitimate business?

This took 25 days, while all other credit reports were downloaded within minutes, and they have online dispute processes. I can proceed via snail mail from here.

Dear LexisNexis,I am writing to formally dispute a judgment currently listed under my name in the public records section of your report. The judgment in question is related to a State Farm account from 2018, which was settled more than seven years ****** my understanding, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), judgments and similar derogatory information are only permitted to be reported for up to seven years from the date of entry. When I tried to renew my insurance had raised another $850.00 I asked the reason to raise this amount on to of what I paid last year.They blame it on the Government without stating ***** Nexus faults reports. [Your Answer *********** Nexus continues to bifurcate My axis to the court system and face my accusers. ***** Nexus utilizes a third party reporting company and then resubmits that information to insurance companies without verifying the facts of the detail. Meaning, ***** Nexus chooses to continuously harass citizens, this citizen in particular just because they're not diligent in verifying the data they're reporting. Therefore bifurcating my access to a court system and siding directly with a citation issued by a police officer that refused to show up to court two times in a row. The judge then threw the case out, ***** Nexus then averts responsibility by stating they're using a 3rd party company to gather this data; Meaning, they have no intelligence of due diligence to ensure that the information they are provided to insurance companies is accurate.
