LexisNexis is violating federal law pursuant to Section 609 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C 1681). I have requested my Consumer Disclosure Report on 3 different occasions, two online, one via phone. The two online submissions included all documents required (birthdate, ssn, address, phone, etc...). Both resulted in a letter stating I did not provide sufficient information to authenticate my identity. The letter they sent actually had a consumer number and case number on them. During the in person request via phone, they were able to validate me. I asked why the online submissions did not work, and they said they did not know. They sent me a letter with a link and pin to access my data. Guess what, that resulted in "Page not Found". I am a retired IT guy. They asked if I tried any other browsers, as they have been experiencing this issues. I tried every modern combination of platform and browser available. With my experience and equipment, if I can't access my information on their site, most typical consumers will also not be able to access their data. This is a either an incompetent or outright malicious crime against US Law by not making this report available to consumers who request it. The attorney general of the United States needs to reign in this company.

How do you get these people to actually send you the report they send to auto insurance companies. I would like to switch insurance companies however whatever report these people send out is blocking me from doing so. I have called, filled out request several times and get nothing. If they want to mess with people lives they need to be willing to share the information they are giving people. Something needs to be done with a company that has access to so much of my personal information when I have not given them consent to access nor share any of my information.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

LexisNexis continues to send emails that say "they are unable to verify my identity" I do not know what else to provide them. Apparently they have incorrect information about me.  As stated in my second complaint, this seems to be the standard answer to brush people off !!! The government need to look into this company !

LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.

For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.? We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.??

And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.

This notice serves as a formal dispute under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. 1681e(b), and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. 1692 et seq., regarding the continued unlawful reporting of the following accounts associated with AFFIRM ***:AFFIRM *** Account #******** AFFIRM *** Account #******* AFFIRM *** Account #******** AFFIRM *** Account #******** Each of these accounts has been charged off and written off yet continues to be re-aged monthly on my credit reports, thereby misrepresenting the age and status of the accounts. Such re-aging practices are deceptive and in direct violation of FDCPA 15 U.S.C. 1692e, prohibiting false or misleading representations about the legal status of a debt. Moreover, it is my understanding that these accounts were reported as canceled debts to the ************************ (IRS), yet no IRS Form 1099-C was issued to me, violating 26 U.S.C. 6050P. I have a previous business startup that sought to make technology available that relied upon document generation. I was solicited by someone who stated they could provide this service, and was told that we would need to acquire a particular piece of software from LexisNexis to do so. The consultant was dismissed by us shortly thereafter for misrepresentation, and the unfortunate outcome also caused the entire venture and effort to cease. The software provided legal documents/services, but without that individual, we were unable to use it. This happened within the same month of beginning LexisNexis service. Because of this, we were never able to use the software provided by LexisNexis. Nonetheless, we've paid in the vicinity of $1,000 to-date for software we were unable to use. During this same time, I noticed LexisNexis of the issues we were having, both initially and on several separate occasions in an effort to find a resolution to the billing issue. During my several attempts to resolve the issue with LexisNexis, I continued to pay a monthly fee for a service we could not ****** my last two conversations with LexisNexis, I was told by the relationship manager that in his experience LexisNexis provides accommodation for no one: that there are no extenuating circumstances that would ever cause them to accomodate a client.I find their conduct and unwillingness to accommodate a genuine good faith effort appalling and disappointing. Now, while LexisNexis has otherwise been compensated for their time and effort here, they are now threatening collections and legal activity for *software that we were unable to use" that they continued billing for over a year after these series of events. I've never had to deal with a collection agency in my life. LexisNexis' aggressive billing practices are predatory and suggest they have similar business dealings with others. I urge caution for others before executing an agreement with them to avoid the same.

LexisNexis is reporting dated information regarding a window claim that Safelight reported to my insurance. Because of this, I've been paying increased insurance cost at every renewal. I submitted a request to dispute this as I was informed this information is supposed to fall off after 3 years. LexisNexis closed the request stating their findings were "incomplete". LexisNexis incorrectly reported me as having an at-fault accident in Feb 2025. I was not a part of this accident- it was my stepmom who had the accident and LexisNexis is incorrectly reporting her name with my date of birth and driver's license number. I was not even in the car or in the same city as her when this accident occurred. I do not live at the same address as her either. This is causing my insurance cost with Progressive to increase, as they are seeing an accident associated with my driver's license number. My stepmom's insurance, Traveler's, is showing that they reported the correct information about her. Someone at LexisNexis entered in the information incorrectly and it is adversely affecting me. I have opened a dispute, and I keep getting letters stating that they can not verify me even though I have uploaded my driver's license and SS card to their website. I want them to remove this accident from my report as I had no involvement in it.

Pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) under 15 U.S.C. 1681 and 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2, I am formally disputing the continued reporting of the ***** CARD account (#********************************* on my credit file. The account in question is inaccurately reporting a "Profit and loss write-off" remark, indicating it has been deemed uncollectible and likely reported to the *** as income. However, I have not received a 1099-C Cancellation of Debt form as required by law for such reporting.Under FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2, as a victim of identity theft and unauthorized reporting, I have the right to block this tradeline from all consumer reporting agencies. Moreover, the monthly re-aging of this account beyond the charge-off date constitutes a clear violation of the **** and furnishes misleading and outdated information in violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 and 1681e(b).Given the illegality of dual treatmentreporting the account as both written off for *** purposes while continuing to report it as a collectible debtI demand the immediate deletion and permanent blocking of this account from all consumer reporting agencies as required by federal law.
