I work as a Nurse Practitioner and was advised that I am unable to prescribe medication at my local pharmacy because Lexis Nexis has me considered inactive in their system. I have contacted the company multiple times in effort to remedy this problem and no one seems able to fix this unfortunate issue. Someone is changing my social security number with Lexis Nexis. This is prohibiting me from running my business and signing documents for clients. I have already gone through the process once with Lexis Nexis, providing my social security card and DL. They have however changed it again. They will not tell me who is altering my social security number or investigating. This could be a continual accident or fraud but is a major hassle and potentially fraudulent and they need to do some due diligence and get to the bottom of this as well as stop changing my social.Business Response

I have been in contact with Lexis Nexis for several months now trying to resolve an issue where they have my information and my brother's information combined into one report. My brother and I are twins, but live in two different states, and have two different driver's license numbers and two different social security numbers - but they have us in one report which due to auto accidents and a homeowners claim by my brother through his insurance is having a financial impact on me being able to get new insurance and increasing the price of my current policies. Lexis Nexis dispute departments continue to come back to say the claims are valid - that's never been my issue - the claims are under my brother's policies which I am NOT connected to - but they will not seem to research far enough to see within their own reports, they show two different names, two different policies, two different driver's license numbers and two different social security numbers, proving we are two different people. I have sent them driver's license pictures of both me and my brother, all the proof of identity I can for me, but they still say they cannot "identify" me and deny me the dispute saying the claims are valid. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED and need help escalating this to someone who will do the proper examination and research.Business Response

My auto premiums went up unexpectedly. Turns out that Lexis Nexis has an erroneous entry in their records. On 5-17-22 my windshield was hit by a rock on the highway. ***** paid $60 to repair. This is reported on Lexis Nexis as a collision at fault on my part. I have sent Lexis Nexis the letter from *****, all my identifiers as they requested and have at least 7 case reports. No changes have been made sating they cannot VERIFY my identity despite sending them Voided check, Light Bills, DL ( not current address) etc. I called and spoke to representatives several times as well. all to no avail. After I received a notice letter from my state's DMV Records that LexisNexis requested ****** of my Driver's license record, I tried to call ********************** to find out who & why they requested my D.L. record, they told me that they can't/won't verify my information or at least tell me why unless I send them a copy of my Social Security Number, or my Driver's License.And when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the guy told me "NO, because it would take 24 to 48 hrs. for one to be "available"! I reviewed my credit report from TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. They include two bankruptcies. I disputed the information as there were inaccuracies. When I disputed the information the credit bureaus all claimed that they received the incorrect information from LexisNexis. Equifax told me to contact the local bankruptcy court and verify the inaccurate information given. I contacted the local bankruptcy court via phone. I also visited in person and sent them a letter certified mail requesting confirmation that they furnished this information to LexisNexis. They informed me that they do not report information to third parties. Therefore I could not verify the information that Equifax stated they received from LexisNexis.A fair resolution would be for LexisNexis to remove this information from their system and stop supplying this information to credit bureaus as it is inaccurate and unverifiable.Business Response
