In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting account **************** #****************, has violated my rights. 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions. The reporting of such inaccurate information has caused severe damage to my character, my reputation, my general mode of living and my ability to obtain credit for personal and household purposes. You and your inaccurate reporting have damaged my livelihood. on January 01, 2022 I mailed a letter to the ************* BANKRUPTCY ***** NORTHERN ********************, asking do they report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus OR any Consumer reporting agencies and the ***** sent me a letter back stating that "They do not report any information to the Credit bureaus and they are not responsible for verifying or validating Information from consumers credit files. So how did LEXIS NEXIS verify this allege bankruptcy as a 100% ACCURATE. LEXIS NEXIS violated my Federal given rights under 15 USC ****.According to the ***** 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. States I the Consumer have the right to privacy.According to the ***** 15 U.S.C **** section 604 Section 2: it states a consumer reporting agency CAN NOT furnish a CONSUMER REPORT without written instructions OF THE CONSUMER TO WHOM IT RELATES.According to the ***** 15 U.S.C ****s-2 (A)(1) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any ************************* if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. LexisNexis posting false and damaging information to my auto insurance account and public record. Please see letter drafted to Lexis Nexis. Additionally, ************* searches shows other law suits for the same issue against LexisNexis (including the selling of personal information). Further research shows LexisNexis is a subsidiary of a by a larger company RELX, which is owned by *************. Critical U.S. agencies and companies use the data LexisNexis sells. Examples are Legal databases (Westlaw, Lexis, etc), State *************************** nearly all ******************* The critical information LexisNexis sells directly affects consumers insurance rates, public record information, security clearances/investigations, and ultimately jobs and lives. LexisNexis does NOT check their data (even reports false data not using people's full names...nor validating with SSN or even Driver's License Numbers.) LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.
For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer. We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.
If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.

LexisNexis is reporting fraudulent data to CLUE and in turn it is affecting my insurance rates in a negative way. Tried to contact them via Phone, Webpage. Got a response via mail that they cannot accurately identify me but they have my full name including a rare middle name and sent the mail to my correct address. Finally made phone contact and they said they needed a bill of some sort to identify me. Did that, then they said the dispute was resolved, No answer as to how. I received a letter today from LexisNexis stating I have a "report of negative information added to my file". It is in reference to my credit report. When I have had an issue with my credit report I am always contacted by TransUnion or Experion. I never knew LexisNexis existed before today. I feel there is a BIG RED FLAG concerning this company and feel that they are just phishing for personal information like my SSN or DL numbers. I do not trust LexisNexis and would implore others to be very careful with your private information. I was shocked when my homeowners insurance company told me that a rate increase was due to data received from this company. I have never filed a claim and my credit score is 843. Clearly, their algorithm is flawed. After a 30 minute phone call with a heavily-accented representative, I found that algorithm elements conflict with one another - i.e., I was scored down for not having enough department store accounts, etc., but having more accounts also decreases your score. I grew tired of waiting for the representative to check each item, putting me on lengthy holds each time, so I ordered the online report. After waiting almost 2 weeks to receive it, the code did not work. Why ************* me the report, as advertised, rather than a one-time, very long URL and a code that does not work? Clearly, this company wants to place as many obstacles as possible between hardworking consumers and information compiled against them by a for-profit cabal. I have filed yet another online request for my report. This is truly infuriating.Business Response

*** ********** **** **I received a message that my complaint has been closed. This complaint was closed prematurely. I wish that it be re-opened. I did not respond to the message since I was waiting for LexisNexis to contact me. This business has NOT contacted me to attempt resolution, contrary to its message that it was "investigating" the matter. Similarly, it has failed to provide the copy of the True Risk report it promised. I do not want another faulty URL. I want a digital copy of the report emailed to me. This has not occurred.
As mentioned above, the issue is with the True Risk product, which LexisNexis is marketing as a third party vendor to insurance companies, including my homeowners' insurance provider, Tower Hill. Many, but not all insurance carriers are opting to use this product, which is faulty. I understand from a reputable insurance provider that they are looking in to perhaps using this product since competitors are doing so, but that, with an algorithm which attempts to overfit rather intrusive components to specific consumers, insurance companies opting to use this product are doing so at great risk to themselves.
Not only do I wish this complaint reopened, pending individual contact with me, the affected consumer, but I wish for LexisNexis to explain use of its faulty algorithm which has lowered my insurance score due to conflicting factors in its algorithm, in light of the facts that I have never filed a homeowners insurance claim, I am consistently employed, and I have an 846 credit score.

September 25 2022, I sent a letter to the courthouse asking do the report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus and I got a letter stating They do not report any bankruptcies to anybody. So if thats the case. How did the credit bureaus verify my bankruptcy as 100% Accurate. They never did a fair investigation according to the 15 USC ****. 15 USC **** section 603 (3)(E) States; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer.They also violated my rights numerous times.The credit bureaus violated my given rights under 15 USC ****.
