I am not satisfied with LexisNexis vague response indicating that a mailed letter will be sent without addressing the core of my complaint. I am asserting my rights as a consumer under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), specifically under 15 U.S. Code 1681i, which grants me the right to dispute and request reinvestigation of inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information.
I am formally disputing the reporting of a bankruptcy on my consumer file. If LexisNexis cannot verify this public record directly with the original furnisherwhich would be the Bankruptcy Courtand not through third-party data aggregation or PACER, it must be deleted immediately under the law.
Additionally, I believe my privacy rights have been violated, as there is no permissible purpose or proper procedure demonstrated for LexisNexis to maintain or distribute this sensitive information.
I demand the immediate deletion of this inaccurate and unverified bankruptcy record from my file, as your failure to validate or remove this information within the legally required time frame constitutes willful noncompliance.
Please provide a written resolution and confirmation of removal within 15 calendar days. LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.
For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.? We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.
If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.??

My insurance company stated there is extremely negative and wrong insurance information on my CLUE report with my wife. This defective data must be deleted as time is of the essence for all addresses under my name going back 15 years or more. I asked for my LexisNexis Consumer report and found several incorrect listings. I froze my account and sent them a request to correct the information. This was in late Feb/early March. Today April 7 I received a letter from them stating an insurance company confirmed my information and they were leaving it as is.Excuse me, I am the person of record and provided documentation as such. If I tell them I never lived at the locations listed, you take my word for it, not some insurance company that hasn't insured me in years, and never at that address. One of the addresses doesn't even exist. They have emails that aren't mine, old phone numbers from 20 years ago that are inactive and at 3 addresses I have never resided at in my life, ever.I am very angry about this and I want it corrected, but apparently Lexis doesn't like to ask for any proof from insurance companies on where they got their information. Their response was they can't talk to me because of an identity issue. I gave them my drivers license. There is no identity issue, the one property doesn't even exist!
This is ridiculous

I was falsely reported as a driver of a vehicle in ********, a ***** Silverado. Never owned or driven one, nor have I lived in ********.
