    I have been on a budget billing plan since April, 2022. The cost was $242.00 per month. In April 2023 it was increased to $316.00 per month, due to a higher bill of $578.57 for adjustments. This April, 2024 I was charged for One Month of services and adjustments, $1750.56. There was no resolution offered by the business, and no reasonable explanation offered for billing me more than triple what I normally pay. It is an obscene amount to charge someone, and would like this matter looked into since the business could not explain the difference.

    Was notified my credit decreased by 37 points after Central Hudson reported a debt that they never tried to collect from me. I also reached out multiple times for an explanation of the bill, spoke to ***** *********** etc and they could not explain the charges. My bills were not consistent and this was concerning. One month the bill would read $200.00 the next week $800.00 CH failed to return my calls or give an explanation of charges. I experienced tremendous variations in my bill with no explanation.

    This dispute arises from Central Hudson charging me for utility services that I did not request. There are hours and hours of logged phone calls with representatives, supervisors, and online chat through their website.Despite countless hours trying to resolve this, I have made no success.

    Central Hudson has wrongfully billed me for over a year, despite the fact that I have spoken to them by telephone insisting they have made an error. They are claiming that I owe $1,011.57 when in fact I received a refund check of $346.35 from them after I moved out of my apartment since I had overpaid them. They have since sent my account to a collection agency. My closed account number with ********************************************* is **************.

    Central Hudson utility company continues to have billing issues Claim they do meter readings when they dont, charging x2 the delivery fees from previous months, clam our usage more than doubled ( along with our bill )

    Central Hudsons delivery fees are more than double the actual usage. It seems criminal. They act as if our utilities are being carried on the backs of barefoot children climbing mountains covered in snow to get to our homes. Its RIDICULOUS

    About two months ago, my sister, ************************* *******, asked me to help her pay her electric bill for Central Hudson (she lives at 23 ************* in ***************, ** *****). The bill came to $834.14 and I promised to pay it for her. She told me to try using their website to pay it off. I never used the website before and when I did, I accidentally put it in for twice the amount. I contacted Central Hudson over the phone and told them what happened and I asked them to give me a refund for $834.14. They said they would send this out as soon as possible. This was the beginning of December 2023 but I have not heard anything from them. I know that Central Hudson has a history of poor customer service but I'm not asking for the key to ************* here. I just mistakenly paid twice for my sister's bill. I just want the other half refunded, that's all.

    On 12/7/23 I reached out to Central Hudson regarding a collections notice I received from TSI trying to collect a debt for them in the amount of $343.14. I have documented proof that I was in a deferred payment arrangement as of 6/23/23 with C.H. to pay off said debt. I could not speak with anyone who could help me on the 7th and left my # for a call back from a supervisor. It never came. I called again on 12/8/23 and spoke with ****** who stated shes worked for the company for 30+ years. Said she would get the debt transferred back to C.H. and start a new deferred payment arrangement w/me. She had no answers why any of this happened. She promised to call by 12/12/23. Today is 1/10/24 and I have not received a call back. The debt was transferred back to Central Hudson on 12/11/2023 and paid off via a HEAP credit I received BUT said debt is still in collections with TSI as of 1/5/24. Central Hudson has not reached out to them. How can this be legal? I have called C.H. multiple times trying to reach ****** to no avail. There is never an answer or voicemail to leave a message at her extension which is ****. I most recently called the main # on Friday January 5th **** and was told that this IS wrong. A supervisor has to fix it and it will be taken care of. It's Wednesday January 10th and still nothing! Being in collections is hurting me! This company is outrageous to deal with!! You can never get someone on the phone, when you do they can't help you and NOBODY ever calls you back. I need this resolved ASAP as I have paid off this debt. Central Hudson has to call the collections company TSI to have the debt removed. This is the only way to get my name out of collections but NO ONE from Central Hudson is helping me. How can I have an electronically signed deferred payment arrangement that I was following and it stopped without any notice? Months later (approx 5) my debt that I believed I was paying down went to collections? This is not right! Please help me!

    I am reaching out as I have been wrongly billed for charges that are not justified on my recent Central Hudson residential bill. I was able to reach a Central Hudson rep. at the end of November 2023 to address the billing issue. Unfortunately, the rep. was unable to resolve the matter and shared that my case would be pushed up to the supervisory staff level and that someone would call be back. I was given a reference number #****** but have not heard from anyone from Central Hudson. I received a letter from Central Hudson in November 2023 that there is an unpaid balance on my account for $1092.27 which if not paid would risk termination of services. This letter took me totally by surprise as I have made all payments for my residential electric and gas usage from January 2022 to date. Based on the attached copies of the bills you will see that the balance on my January 2022 bill was a credit of *******. Since January 2022 to date I have made 12 payments of $214 and 12 payments of $245.00 based on the budget plan. The total payments made is $5508.00. With the addition of the credit balance of ******* the unpaid balance of ******* my total residential bill from January 2022 to December 2023 would be $7551. There is definitely an error with the total amount based on my average electric and gas consumption at the apartment we live in. Based on our consumption the electric and gas the bill for services is totally off the charts. My current bill has a major error which shows that there is an unpaid balance of $1092.27. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

    Central hudson is out of control! I got 2 bills this month. The proces for the delivery of the products cost more then the actual product. I keep my house set at 63 degrees in the winter and i work 12hr days so the lights are off most of the day and yet i get charged a HUGE amount every month.
