I took a brand new tire in to have it patched. The whole was near the center of the tire and they said it could not be repaired and I needed to buy a new tire for over $200 installed. I had no choice but to trust them. I had to insist on keeping my tire which needed to be repaired. I then took it to 7 other tire shops and they all said it was a very small hole and it could easily be patched without losing any tire integrity. They said this facility is known for ripping off the public and selling them tires when people do not need them. Stay away.

Branches will damage your vehicle and charge you for damage. Corporate will back up their denial.

I made an appointment to have 4 Assurance All-Season Tires installed at our local Goodyear Service Center, along with an alignment and car inspection. Though the appointment wasn't scheduled until 1:00 pm, my husband and I dropped off the vehicle earlier in the morning, The vehicle was scheduled to be ready between 2:00 - 3:00 pm, but when we hadn't heard, my husband placed a call @ 3:30 pm - and was told that the vehicle wasn't ready yet. While the delay was somewhat disappointing, it pales in comparison to the events that followed. The very next day - LESS THAN 100 MILES LATER - my husband experienced a flat tire in the city of Syracuse. Fortunately, he received assistance from a guy who lent him a compressor. This allowed my husband to return the vehicle to Goodyear, without having to obtain a tow. Goodyear claimed that the issue with the tire was "not a defect", and therefore would not warranty the tire. Obviously, we did not find this satisfactory. I called Corporate and spent a total of 44 minutes either waiting for someone to answer or waiting for **** to come back with the following response: He offered 2 options: #1 Purchase the road hazard insurance on all 4 tires (and the new tire would be covered) or #2 50% off the price of a new tire. We opted to spend the $91.60 (on top of the $830.19 that I had spent 84 miles earlier!) because I have no intention of EVER returning or recommending Goodyear to anyone! I am less than satisfied with the customer service I received! I have spoken to several people - including a former employee from a different Goodyear - and have shared the pictures I took of the tire. Aside from the employees at Goodyear, NO ONE seems to think that we should have been held accountable!

I had GY tires way back in the '90's, and went through them in about 22,000 miles. I avoided the brand forever until I bought a car that had GY Fortera Hl's........I have had TWO of the four blowout....pressure had just been checked before the trip in both cases. They had most of the tread still remaining--DOT showed three years of age. In my life (I'm age 60) I have driven many cars, many tires, many hundreds of thousands of miles. Ive had two blowouts--BOTH GOODYEAR. Brands currently on my three cars that are better than Goodyear: ***** ******, ****** ********** ****** ******* ****, *******. GY could very well be the worst tire made. I've had USED tires that had no tread--no telling how old--that at least didnt blow out.

I had a really experience with Good Year tire and I will never use them again. I purchased 4 tires in West Virginia and the tires were not the actual size to fit my Chevy Traverse. I originally went in for 1 tire but because they didn't carry my size I was advised to purchase 4 tires. I already had 3 perfectly good tires and 1 damaged due to a blow out on the highway. I came back to Richmond VA and attempted to return the tires and purchase one as I originally wanted to do. Good Year gave me a hard time and needless to say I still have their tires on my truck. Corp office was not very understanding of the situation which has caused me to lose faith in this company.

I brought my car to Goodyear and tires on Lapalco in gretna, la. The store manager had a dog at work. When I asked him not to put the dog down he chuckled and put the dog down anyway. I am petrified of animals so I screamed which scared the dog. I advised the manager that I asked him not to put the dog down. He tells me you deal with 2 legged dogs which was TOTALLY inappropriate. I won’t stop until I reach corporate. The manager is HORRIBLE

North Miami Goodyear is trash If I could give 0 stars I would, but the 1 star goes to the young man with dreads at the front desk. The manager ***** is a piece of work. Save your money and go else where. They took my money for an alignment but NEVER did align my car until I demanded the work get done. The techs will not put your engine parts back the way you bought it in and when you inform ***** of their oversights, he’ll belittle ridicule and insult you instead of correcting them because you’re just one person he doesn’t care. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. If you must go to a Goodyear go to a different location than the North Miami location.

As a fellow Ohioian that lives 30 mins from head quarters I am disgusted by this company. Bought 4 brand new tires last year, they went bald by the halfway point. Their warranty is trash. The prorated me for 4 new tires instead of being honest and replacing the faulty tires. Sams Club said this happens to all Goodyear Tires. So plan on having another unexpected expense at the half way point. Also their BBB accreditation is trash, they pay to be an A+ company with a 1 Star Customer Rating.
