1 starThis Kroger and specifically the pharmacy has the worst customer service I've seen in a long time. I was told three different times to come back for prescriptions they didn't even have medications to fill but they had already billed my insurance. When I got upset with the pharmacist instead of saving my problem he and the store manager told me to leave. They were dishonest and deceitful and very rude and unwilling to help. Even one of the managers agreed with me that this was ridiculous and stated that they hoped the pharmacist got fired yet I was told to leave. After I got home I was told by my insurance provider they had already billed for the meds that they didn't even have and after they forced me to leave.Review fromSteve M

1 starI had a bad experience in this store that was totally mishandled by the store management and later bungled by the corporate office, too (Kroger, based in Ohio). Had a conflict when the deli counter personnel were not there (no bell as should be) and they took another customer ahead of me (no ticket number dispenser, either). So, lack of available personnel, no bell or ticket number dispenser, and taking another customer ahead of me all in the first minute. Poor! The customer ahead of me had a large order and I had a small one. After the employees filled her first two orders I asked if they can fill mine because I was here first, it's a small order, and I am holding refrigerated and frozen items. I am (now was, as I am not going back there!) a big-spending customer there but sometimes not liked by some employees because I "complain" too much - which is their shallow thinking because the company asks feedback in surveys a lot, I suspect because this store is an underperformer with underachieving employees and the corporation wants to know what's going on. All they have to do is read the reviews on BBB and elsewhere to find out. Continuing my situation at the store, I was denied having my order done when told there is only one meat slicer there (yet another bad decision to have only one there) and to "be patient" - which I had been despite having someone taken ahead of me. Now get this: the customer taken ahead of me, a seemingly unintelligent older woman, calls me a curse word within earshot of of the employees, customers and possibly young kids in the area. I question the lady about this and she won't reply. Neither do the employees taking care of her. Instead of telling this woman she cannot speak that way to a customer or in the store itself, and denying her the order/asking here to leave, they do nothing. I get the manager (Claudia) who is useless, biased, and unprofessional. Corporate office apologized, promised a comp but didn't deliver. Horrible place! Adios!Review fromLinda S

1 starVery bad experience at Kroger in Great Bridge with customer service rep unwilling to refund a bad bottle of Kim ******** wine. She told me it was against the law to accept it, liar. I went to Kroger via ** messenger and after an exhaustive 4 hours of answering their questions, one after the other, they finally gave me a $20 CR to my loyalty card account. I see by this BBB site that they're not doing well in the customer satisfaction department.Review fromCarl H

1 starApparently Kroger does not care for the elder generation since many discounts can only be obtained by scanning into the app. Obviously Krogers marketing didnt take statistics in college or they only want young people in their stores. Many elders do not carry cell phones.Review fromElena P

1 starI've been a customer of the smiths marketplace for years. On 6/16 an employee acting as a policeman rushed to me after I completed the transaction at the self check out. He asked "Have you paid for the chicken?". I answered "yes". He asked me for the receipt, and I stepped back to let him search the cart. He printed his copy of my receipt from the kiosk, and could not find the records on the copy. After I pointed out to him the records, he turned away to leave. At my request to call the manager, he waived his hand to the cashier line and said "Go to the manager". I repeated my request, he repeated his answer and turned away. I understand that inventory control is important, but accusing a customer of stealing and not apologizing after that is not the right way. After waiting for the manager for about 10 minutes, I was able to tell her about the incident. Hopefully, employees can have better training in "people skills".Review fromKarina M

1 starWe tried to enter the store and there was still a good 10 minutes before closing and one of the employees refused to let us in stating they were closed already. As a business it is not okay to turn away a customer ready to spend money especially if you havent closed yet. Any other business would not have done that.Review fromJodi C

1 starI am done with Kroger. I just had a delivery order on a Wednesday. I put my order in on Tuesday with all of my coupons and all of the sales. My card was charged. I got my delivery today and lost all of my sale items and coupons and was told well. Our sale switches theres nothing we can do to help you, are you kidding me you charged my car yesterday. Didnt have any problem doing that you need to fix your digital system to work properly for customers or you gonna lose all of us I can go to ******* I can go to *****. I probably spend $1000 a month at Kroger easy . Thats $12,000 a year customer youre losing because you cant give me my correct sales prices that you gave me the day before when you charged my card you should not be doing business like this. Its terrible. I lost over $30 today I cant afford to lose $30 can you ?Review fromCarlis Y

1 starI’ve been using Kroger pharmacy for years and was pleased but as of late my medication would come up one or two pills short, I did inform the pharmacy and they said they would make sure that it was correct moving forward. So when I went to pick up my meds on 6/10/24 I ask the young lady would she mind counting them before I paid, she was rude and didn’t want to do it so I asked to speak to the store manager. When this man came he was even ruder and he told me that since I had something to say every time I picked up my meds that I could have my prescription moved to another pharmacy. He never addressed the rudeness of the pharmacy technician. I feel that if I’m paying for 30 pills I want ALL 30, not 29, 28. I told the store manager that I was going to call corporate and he told me that he didn’t care what I did because they weren’t going to do anything. The arrogance this man displayed was sickening and it also tells me that he’s gotten away with this type of behavior before because he had no fear of being reported to his superiors. I hope some type of disciplinary action is taken towards the store manager because his attitude trickles down to the employees under him. I’ve NEVER experienced this type of behavior from Kroger before.Review fromEvelyn C

1 starI have been for the past year or more harassed by an employee named ********** that thinks she owns the store that I am stealing just because I use self scan on my weekly purchase. She tells ******************** to keep an eye on me and she even has asked to check receipts after I leave the store to make sure I have payed certain items! She profiles myself and other customers & assumes we are stealing as I have been witness to it myself!! I have spoken to store manager about her twice and have called corporate to file complaint and it seems like not much is being done as she stops for a while then goes right back to doing it!! She follows customers outside the store chasing them down to take pictures of them if she wasn't able to do it inside the store!! I have spoken to her (***) personally in the store that what is her issue is with me and she plays it off like she doesn't know what I am talking about, when very well she does know what she is doing, but like the majority of her co-workers love her because she is **** and she feels protected and can't do no wrong!! It seems like this store and corporate want a law suit for harassment & profiling or want exposure from a local news channel of the treatment some customers are receiving at this location which is harassment and profiling customers based on there appearance and lacking proof that we are stealing or doing anything wrong!!. If this store or any store from this company has a problem with customers using self scan with a good quantity of items have more cashiers then do like other stores put a sign above self scan and on the number boxes on self scan 15 items or less or 20 items or less like many of your competitors do and no one will use them if we have more than that amount mention and *** doesn't have to be harassing or profiling customers and actually do what she was hired to do!! Please do the right thing as It is wrong to harass or profile anyone without merit or proof!!!Review fromBobbie F

1 starThe past 2 times I ordered delivery through the app. Last time I was over charged 12.00 for "flash sale"items and a 12pk of soda. They gave me a credit and I was okay with that. I had an order for delivery scheduled this morning between 5am and 6am. At 5:14 I got a message saying it was delivered. It was not. I was here waiting for it. Tried to call and live chat but they were unavailable until Monday (message said) so I emailed. Then tried chat again and it worked. I told them it wasn't delivered and she said she was checking with dispatch. When she came back, she said it WAS delivered to the correct address, but since I didnt receive it, they will refund me... In 30 DAYS. not only did she insinuate that I am a liar, they are also keeping my money for 30 days!!! I am LIVID!! I will NEVER shop Kroger again. For anything. Crooks
