I took my car to tire discounters on Winton road in Finney town on 8/3/24 to have 4 new tires put on which came with a free oil-change. i scheduled the appointment on line, when i arrived their system did not show the appointment nor did they have the tires that i had picked out on line. after having my car from 9-5 it was brought to my attention today by Joe the store manager that there was no proof that an oil change was done. Even though their oil change sticker was placed inside my car in the upper left front windshield which i took a picture of and showed Joe..........he said that was not proof, Trying to reach someone in corporate was impossible i'm going to contact **** ******** at channel * news and bring this to their attention. Never again.Tire Discounters, Inc.

I made an appointment to get one (1) tire replaced. A singular solitaire tire. I came in a bit early (I'm early for all appointments) for my 2pm appointment (I sat down in the waiting area at around 1:45pm). My car didn't even get into the shop until almost 3pm. I finally got to leave a little after 4pm. Now, the employees seemed fine, and I feel like this is more an overbooking issue. The manager said they were fully staffed and still 2+ hours behind. But, corporate greed always wins, so I assume they force them to overbook because gotta pay for the yachts the execs have, right? Also, they need to not sell crappy off-brands that are a trap to people like me with little knowledge of tires and such. I basically wasted 150 dollars on a tire I'm just going to replace next week, along with the other 3 tires.Tire Discounters, Inc.

Hoooorrriiiiibbbllleeee!!! My tires were purchased and installed in 7/2023 with a 70,000 3 year warranty.I am not near my warranty period maximums. My wife had to instruct the regional manager to their limited warranty policy on their website for him to read it. He isn't fully understanding of their own polices and like to add stuff to it that doesn't even appear even in small writting. All of my service appointments for rotations, balances, and alignments were all done at this location. Here we are 8/2024 one year and 2 weeks after purchase and installation of the tires we find out that my tires are needing a replacement. Hooowwww? Especially after I have had my tires serviced in all ways through you. No one ever mentioned before the Full Warrany 1 year replacement about my tires wearing extremely fast. No one at your store mentioned it. Now after that time frame has ended ya'll feel comfortable with advising that these defective tires need to be replaced and ya'll are willing to give me $300.00 proration to get new tires. Even with the $300.00 proration it will cost me more with that credit applied than what other companies are charging for 80,000 mile warranty tires. This company has been very difficult to work with and very conniving. Beware. I will be moving forward with my complaint. They are not right and not to be trusted. Take your money elsewhere.Tire Discounters, Inc.

We apologize for any misunderstanding around the ***** manufacturer warranty. The set of ***** tires you purchased with Tire Discounters in July of 2023 came with a ***** manufacturer tread life warranty of 70,000 miles. Unfortunately, the tires only lasted 40,000 of the 70,000 miles warrantied by the manufacturer. According to *****s’ warranty information (link included below) with the proof of regular tire rotations, which the store provided, you are entitled to a prorated amount of your original purchase to be used towards a new set of tires, should the tread life not meet the 70,000 mile pledge. The prorated amount that ***** offered you was $341 towards a new set of tires. The 3 year warranty that you mention was not a ***** warranty, but is an optional Tire Discounters road hazard warranty that we offer customers at an additional cost which you had not purchased. However, our road hazard warranty would not have applied to this situation as it only protects the consumer against non-repairable damage caused by puncture, snag, cut, bruise, or impact break (as per the Tire Discounters road hazard warranty listed on our website). ***** ***** **** ******** **** **********************************************************************************************************M. That is not part of the hazard warranty what my wife stated and directed the regional manager to (see further down). Alsosince that was bought up by you the store employees did advise me that the hazard protection would have provided me new tires in this event which I knew that was inaccurate. The bottom line isyour store handled all of the rotation, balance, and alignments. Not once did you notify me that the tires were wearing fast. If you arent looking out for the customer why are you in business. You all specifically waited until the 1 year warranty was up to mention anything about the thread being worn. Im just notifying the public to make sure they are aware. The rotation, balance, and alignments through you makes sure that the tires have life and are in their best condition. Then the manager went on to put blame on my vehicle where it was looked at by 3 different companies and they advised that my vehicle would not have caused tires to wear in that nature and the manager advised that he disagreed. Thats 3 against one person saying otherwise. You do not stand by your product or your warranties. There 3 other companies advised it should have never gotten to this point and should have been handled before the 1 year was up. Point, blank, period. Please see below: On your website:Full Replacement Period: If any brand tire that you purchased becomes unserviceable due to material defect or workmanship during the first 2/32 of tread depth or 12 months from the date of purchase (whichever occurs first), we will replace with a new, same-brand tire or, at our option, a comparable tire at no charge. A comparable tire may be either the same line of tire or, in the event that the tire is not available, a tire of the same basic construction and quality with a different sidewall or tread configuration. If a higher-priced tire is accepted as replacement, the difference in price will be at an additional charge to you. FET and state taxes are added to the replacement cost. Additional charges for installation apply.Proration Period: Depending on the brand and model tire purchased, there may be a limited mileage warranty. Please refer to the manufacturer for specific details. If the mileage warranty is from Tire Discounters, please contact any Tire Discounters store for details.Limitations: ***** limited warranties apply only to the original purchaser and only if the tires have been used only on the vehicle on which they were originally installed. ***** limited warranties are subject to the General Terms that appear at the bottom of this document. When making a claim under the terms of your specific brand tire(s) warranty you must present your tire(s) and original sales invoice to a Tire Discounters location. The vehicle on which the tires were used must be available for inspection. For mileage warranty* claims you must also present copies of all rotation records. YOU PAY ANY SERVICE CHARGES FOR NORMAL VEHICLE AND TIRE MAINTENANCE.*If your new tires wear evenly across the tread down to 3/32nds of an inch before delivering the warrantied miles, Tire Discounters will provide a comparable new tire for a pro-rated cost based on mileage. Additional charges for installation apply. If you need additional assistance, contact CUSTOMER SERVICE at ************** *************) or email: *********************************Review fromStephanie P

No stars@ bought my car from ******* *** and have a warranty. Air blower went out told to bring the car in at 230 on a Wednesday. At 455 told that the insurance company never called back so I would need a new appt. Called insurance company and received a confirmation text that the diagnosis was paid for at 255pm. But now it's 5pm and everyone wants to go home...so screw the customer. Spoke with store manager who said sorry....WOW! SCHEDULED 830AM APPT ON Friday....same week at 1030 the car list pulled in and no one knows how to read anything, technician comes out at 1215 and states the part is not readily available and I will need to pay for the car to be put back together warranty approved you to tear it apart but stated warranty is not paying to have it reassembled. Really? Call warranty company back....technician never called. Asked to be present for the phone call when he calls them back. He refused. They took the car apart and now don't know how to put it back together. Bit I the customer who has had the car less than 2 weeks can pay 250.00 for them to reassemble. This place is shady, the customer service *****, they lie, and half *** work on your vehicle. I wouldn't bring my tricycle here. PERIODTire Discounters, Inc.

Took my car in for an alignment, and to get my brakes checked. They tell me my brakes are fine but I need a tie rod in the front driver side so I give them consent to replace it. I then get a call telling me after they did the work they test drove my car, and heard something break. So without my consent they took off my back wheel and took apart the back brakes, then tried to tell me it'd be over 900$ to fix a spring they broke and replace my back brakes as well.It took arguing with a mechanic multiple times just to get them to release my car to me. I have called HQ twice and put In a ticket online as well and I have not heard back. It has been almost a week since. i still have no car and I refuse to pay a dime until I speak to someone in corporate about this. The customer service here is God awful.Tire Discounters, Inc.

My 83-year-old mother took her 2014 ***** *** to Thompson Tire Discounters in Salem, VA for a car inspection. She was told by the service manager, Chris T*****, that she needed a new backup bulb ($6.23). Without explaining their exorbitant labor fee ($101 for 10 minutes) he replaced the bulb and my mother had to pay $111.67. I am disgusted by the lack of transparency and the blatant shady behavior of the service manager. We will never, ever darken the doors of a Tire Discounters again.Tire Discounters, Inc.

Had an appointment set up took 3 hours to do a tire rotation and balancing. Terrible Customer service. It's like when you have an appointment set up you’re not important or a customer. But if you’re a walk-in all eyes are on them.Tire Discounters, Inc.

Took our daughter's car to Eavers in January. Repairs by Eavers TD Steering & Suspension REPLACE DRIVER FRONT STRUT, CONTROL ARM, AXLE, INNER/OUTER TIE ROD, SWAY BAR LINK, HUB BEARING F COMPLETE STRUT ASSY When we got her car back on February 21 there was damage to the rear spoiler. Ryan admitted he knew who had done it but then gave us the run around & tried to deny shop was responsible. Cost to repair was 275.67. Took 6 weeks to get our money back & then it was in the form of a **** gift card. On June 18 we took the same car to a ***** dealership because there was a roaring noise coming from left front of car. ***** stated “TECH FOUND LEFT FRONT AXLE NUT LOOSE FRONT LEFT WHEEL BEARING REPLACEMENT IS NEEDED” & “Vehicle was brought in for a concern about a noise coming from the front of the vehicle while driving. Verified the concern & diagnosed noise as a failed wheel bearing or ball joint at the FL corner. Further investigation revealed the axle nut on the FL hub was not properly torqued & stamped to secure the nut stopping it from backing off. Because of this the hub began to wobble when driving destroying the wheel bearing. Recommended replace wheel bearing & properly torque/stamp nut” Also, from ***** “the axle nut on the wheel hub was not torqued causing it to back off destroying the wheel bearing, if left alone the hub could have fallen off entirely” Reached out to regional manager yesterday & he was a complete jerk. Said we should’ve allowed Eavers to repair the car & refused to reimburse us the 710.20 we paid *****. My husband told him that Eavers was not trustworthy after they damaged the spoiler & attempted to deny responsibility & they let our daughter drive off in an unsafe vehicle because their mechanic failed to complete the work properly. She drove an unsafe car for 4 months. The tire could’ve came off. Jeopardized our daughter’s life & others. When we took the car to ***** June 21 we did not think the noise was related to Eavers repairs in January.Tire Discounters, Inc.

I have posted this review on multiple sites. Eavers Tire Discounters comments as if they intend to make the situation right, yet they still have not taken any steps to reach out to me or my husband even though they have our contact information. This business needs to be shut down. There are other complaints from customers recently online similar to my personal experience with Eavers.
