      I was contacted to sign up for an ad for a golf course. I was pressured to hurry up and sign up and fast track art work because we need to hurry up and get this out to print. I paid and then received no response after from the art department. Then I started receiving more calls to sign up for more ads "discounted because someone else backed out" hurry up and sign up this great discount and we will include all these extras. I stated I still haven't heard anything from the first ad. I attempted reaching out to the golf course directly and received no response or call back. I contacted multiple reps for a refund and was refused.

      We have spoken to **************** and have addressed her concerns. **************** entered into the contract 7 business days ago. As in any sales company there can be urgency. For our customers the is urgency based on availability of ad space and print deadlines. Simply declining a sale will suffice if a customer does not with to take advantage of an additional offer. We apologize to the bbb for **************** using your institution as a tool to force a companies hand. **************** apparently has no regard for contract terms and conditions. We believe that the negative reviews of her business is more than likely what prompted this complaint. We had chosen to part ways with **************** before receiving this complaint. A refund receipt was emailed to her and is attached to this response. We wish her the best and hope rationale and professionalism will be part of her future success.

      I do not appreciate being taken advantage of or lied to, especially from another salesman. I am looking through the scorecard and find that there are 5 insurance agencies represented and advertised in this book for the same industry that I represent. I only agreed to this venture ** I was told on several occasions that you only allow 1(one) company to advertise per industry. Why are there 4 other life and health agencies and all of us sell ******** and insurance? I do not appreciate what has happened, will not do business again and will definitely spread the word to look elsewhere for advertising since this is how we choose to conduct business.

      I am still waiting for the refund to happen. My bank has notified me that the refund was pending and then cancelled 5 hours later.  I spoke with ****** and the refund showed back up. Not 24 hours later it was cancelled again.  This matter has not been resolved as of yet.

      Misleading on charges. They seem to call every few month, claiming you owe. Even have an email telling me its the final payment in May. Called in August telling I still owed.

      Bench Craft sold me golf course advertising for the 17th hole of a golf course, what they didn't tell me was the course is only 9 holes.

      We are shocked that any business could be so dishonest and unethical. We provided our credit card for ONE transaction. They continued to use the card information over a period of time to charge additional UNAUTHORIZED transactions, all the while saying on the phone there would be no more charges. In speaking with a Benchcraft agent by phone once we realized the scope of the fraudulent charges, he was not only rude and disrespectful, but also willing to lie about how the charges to our account came to be. Now, with research, we see this company has a history of defrauding potential customers and manipulating the communication in order to deceive. Since this is interstate commerce, we will file a complaint with the federal regulatory authorities in addition to this BBB complaint. We sincerely hope this communication will deter future businesses from being defrauded by such a dishonest organization.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Most importantly, the representative I spoke with was courteous, professional, and sincerely wanted to assist with my complaint. Although the sales representatives I had worked with were dishonest and deceitful, I now believe the company does not intentionally operate in that manner. My faith in BenchCraft is restored and I would consider working with them again in the future, with  a different representative.

      I purchased golf course advertising about 8 years ago. I kept the ad for maybe 2 years, then stopped. Since then, I receive calls about every 2-3 months trying to sell me advertising. I've asked every. single. time. to be removed from their call list. I've even called corporate and was assured the calls would stop. This is ridiculous. I've asked dozens of times for them to stop calling. I'm so tired of feeling harassed.

      ****************** contacted our corporate office in March of 2023 to ensure her previous account was noted that she would not be renewing any previously purchased ads. This was confirmed to her on the day of the phone call. ****************** is receiving cold calls as opposed to renewal calls. The calls that she receives are due to her internet presence for her business, not a list generated and worked by auto dialer. These would be manually dialed phone calls after an internet search for successful businesses within a proximity to a local golf course. Unfortunately we can not remove ****************** from the internet. We have now noted the golf courses in her area that *********** with, that she has requested not to be contacted. Per ********************** request we will not call her business to address this complaint. We consider the complaint closed.

      I am reading two different answers to my problem. First the business said they can't remove me from the internet. My first thought was that instead, perhaps they could communicate with their sales teams, so those people don't waste time with unwanted calls.

      I contacted corporate well over a year ago; the March 2023 was the 2nd call to corporate. During the first call I was assured the calls would stop. I was not given this assurance during the call in March 2023. Near the end of their response to my BBB complaint, the business states that they have noted the local golf courses. To be sure that I understand, the sales team now has access to notes that let them know I do not wish to be contacted (for new sales or renewals)? Is this an assurance that their team will check the notes and not call me?

      We have documented in our system that ****************** does not want to be contacted for renewal or by cold calls. Because we do not work off of a list of names and phone numbers, it is not possible to remove ********************** phone number. Her business internet presence alone will result in cold calls from various sales people from different companies and industries. We however have now taken every possible precaution not to waste our time or ********************** time contacting her. We consider this complaint closed and officially request not to be contacted again.

      ***HORRID BUSINESS ETHICS***I was contacted by Bench Craft in 2022 to do the marketing for my business. This marketing included printing on golf course score cards. I was hesitant at first, but the sales rep then told me that he would cut the price and offer several years ontop. I agreed and made a payment. I was then contacted by another rep this year caliming I hadn't made a payment and that I asked them to hold off on payment untill 2023. I was confused but I trusted him and made a payment. I was then asked again to make another payment which I did. I was told I was all caught up. Then today 06/16/2023 I was contacted and told I owed for a course, which I did not. I requested documents supporting her claim, and she rudely responded with "you already have them" and "that's not my job". I hung up with her and called Bench Craft Company's customer service department where I was told that I had actually made a payment in *********************************************************** 2023 was only trying to get me to renew a yearly contract. I don't know if Bench Craft Company trains sales reps to lie during sales calls or if they are not over seeing them appropriately, however, it is clear that the sales reps are dabbling in horrible business tricks like, lying, talking fast and skirting around questions to avoid answering questions you have, and using multiple numbers to contact you to keep you confused to who you are speaking with. After I recieved confirmation from the customer service department I **************************** called my bank and disputed the charges. I refuse to deal with immoral businesses or to be scammed by sales reps.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Upper management contacted me on my personal phone which I did not have on me. Instead of calling it a day they contacted my business line in determiniation to return the call. The representative expressed his concerns about my complaint and promised that he would look into the complaint. Also stayed on the line to hear me voice my concerns and expressed sincerity when apologizing. The Benchcraft Company went above and beyond in working with me. I appreciate not only thier speed in contacting me, but also them taking the time out of their day to contact me.

      I agreed to get an ad in a magazine. I had concerns after reading about this company online and tried contacting the company. They do not respond to emails so I decided to cancel the service. Again I get no responses

Although the number was provided to ************** at the point of sale and in the welcome email he received he has not made an attempt to contact ** with any questions or concerns. He did however make 1 attempt to email the sales rep. ** apologize to the bbb for having it's time wasted.       Started process April 4, 2023 with *********************** - was not going to do the ad, but she dropped price in half and I agreed. Well, you do get what you pay for! Finally got the change to the artwork that I submitted from someone with same last name (assume it was her husband) - the changes looked like a child did it / OR / was trying to do on a phone. Asked for my money back. Instead, someone else, now in the art department got the artwork done and looked good. That was sent to production on May 5. It is now May 31st and no one can give me a straight answer. I was then told to contact customer service, which I did today. A jerk and I mean a real piece of work answered the phone with an attitude, not listening and not answering my questions and when he apparently sensed my frustration in my hesitation, all he kept saying was "don't hang up." He said for me to check back in about 3 weeks or so. I was put out by this request and he complained how many phone calls they would have to make to get to all of their customers and he would not respond about whether they would be notifying me when the sign went up or send me an email with a pic as proof. I am going to dispute the charge. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. You guys are rude, condescending and you will not answer a straight question. You take your customers money, give them nonsense, bs, subpar design and them complain to your customers you have too much to do. You have solicited me incessantly since I bought one sign from you to see how you did and you have not completed 1 project. I have had it with your company and I am going to dispute the charge if you cannot give me an answer as to when you will satisfy YOUR obligation. Instead - you keep telling me to call you back. Your business practices are shameful. I am going to make sure all we work with know your practices and I will also be contacting the golf courses and let them know what you are doing. Shame on you!!!

      Hello. I was contacted by **** from Benchcraft Company on Feb27, 2023. He stated that he was looking to fill a travel agency advertising slot in the Cross Creek Scorecard. He stated that there would only be one travel agency and that ***** of the guides would be printed for the 12 month contract. I purchased Hole 12 for $395. I have only just now received the hard copy of the guide I was promised (it is now May 26, 2023). There are three travel agencies and 1 travel destination advertising in the score card. As the year is half over and I have not received a single phone call, I wonder how many books are being sent to the golf course. How do they verify that the guides are being used as they are not ordered by the golf course, but dropped off unsolicited as a free publication. I was also approached 3 more time by Benchcraft to advertise in other score cards making the same promises of being the only travel agency they would publish in the book, and that I was approached first because I was already a customer and that there was another travel agency who wanted the slot if I didn't. Luckily, I didn't pursue any additional advertising with them since upon further research, this company is known to frequently misrepresent themselves and their score cards. I want my money back as I am not the only agency as I was informed that I would be, and they distorted/skewed my ad to the point that it no longer represents my advertising standards. I also request they no longer solicit me for advertising. I did read my contract thoroughly, and I am not relying on verbal promises as I was instructed by my salesperson **** that these were their standard business practices (only 1 of a type of business at a time, first right of refusal, etc...)

After receiving this complaint we called and left voicemails on both of her listed phone numbers no less than 8 times.
