      My phone number was stolen from the company in July, and from there other accounts of mine were broken into, including stealing my credit card number. Then I got a bill from CC and when I went to check it out on my account online, I learned that my account was frozen due to the number theft and even I as the account holder **** not be able to get in to it for one month. SO, I called up the company to dispute the charge and had the final bill I was given waived by a supervisor. It was only for $16.13, but it was upset that I was billed for any amount and could not see what it was for. Then CC charged my credit card anyway . I cancelled through my credit card. Then I got another bill by email with increased additional fees recently. Today, Oct. 23, I was just told that if their supervisor gave me wrong information and that employee could not cancel the fee. The supervisor today told me that if that employee did so, they would talk to that person, but the fee could not be waived. That my account was reviewed by them, I was wrong and there are no written records from my conversation with the supervisor back in August. I couldn't follow it up and check because they locked me out of my account and now I have no access to my records. I am now being threatened by them that it will go to collections. I believe it was reasonable for me to believe that a supervisor I talked to had the authority to waive a bill for $16.23. Apparently this company believes it is appropriate to threaten a past customer due to an action or misinformation supplied to me by one of their supervisors.

      Consumer cellular continues to not send my bill in the mail and after I paid two months in advance they failed to acknowledge it but then said "it's a technical glitch " thus the payment is only one but rebilled me after my bill showed a credit of minus but a later bill doubled bill me for a month I pre-paid. They hide secrets and after reading reviews they have scrupulous practices amongst which are fowl to there so called "Consumer fair treatment".

      I am very upset about my service with Consumer Cellular. They disconnected my phone services today with no warning. My monthly payment of $25 was not accepted by my bank ( my debit card was changed by my bank due to fraud done to me).I made several attempts to call CC and to change payment info but no answer (only busy signals) and no option to do so in my account. I was given a $25 penalty fee and upon my call with them they refused to reinstate my services until a payment of $53 was given.I am 72 yrs old and if I had an emergency or needed help it would have been impossible to reach out or receive help They are not reliable or able to deal with seniors as they claim to be.*****

      They do have good customer support people; however they lack good warranty support. Phone battery went dead within year of purchase. Took phone to phone store to have it checked & unable to be repaired. Called CC & they said warranty voided for taking phone to 3rd party. Was told this was CLEARLY in the warranty booklet 40 pages looking. Asked her to let us know which ********** could not find it..yet said it was clearly on there. A total rip off in order to avoid phone replacement of approx $230. Will take business elsewhere as CC can not EVEN find where it CLEARLY states that in their warranty booklet!

      There is no square for ZERO! I have an ongoing nightmare with my 9 month old phone that drops calls nearly every day and sometimes several times. I had been ill for nearly a month this past week and holding onto a dr or emergency source was a horror. ******** asked for a discount or some kind of monetary assistance and was told that CC would not give me one. They also told me they cant help it if ***** the carrier, doesnt have enough strength to improve service. When I thought I had Covid 2 weeks ago, CC told me I would have to use someone elses phone so ******* could fix the connection. COVID!! Serious infection and transmission!. I bought my phone in Dec. and cannot afford to buy another.

      Bad dishonest company told me one price auto charged ** a different price and no matter how many times you complain it stays the same had to cancel because of this and they billed me an extra month

      Consumer Cellular's Unlimited Plan is a fraudulent and limited plan. Specifically, CC completely ****** internet service if and when a client uses 10GB of internet in a 72-hour period. They do not include this in their contract. I provided CC with an opportunity to remove this feature from my account. CC refused to do so and I brought a civil action in court. ***************************, Esq., CC's corporate counsel called me and began threatening to terminate my service, a phone number that I've had for 12 years. FRAUDS.

      I was wondering why my new ******** phone was slowing down to a crawl. I was told by ***** (CSR) that I had gone over 50GB and now have a reduced rate, after checking my account. I was told also that it is the customer's responsibility to check to make sure service is adequate. He also stated that after I paid my last months bill (over $60), that the system failed to reset my data speed back to what I paid for. Ok. After that he began to raise his voice and appeared to be irritated at my questions. I could see he was getting angry and hostile, so I asked for his supervisor.His supervisor, ***, had the same attitude and began to raise her voice so high, it hurt my ear. I asked her to tone it down a bit and she sarcastically started to whisper to me. She was rude and very unhelpful and told me the same thing that ***** told me. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure CC's equipment was functioning. Is that in a contract or fine print? I didn't realize I work for CC. Anyways I asked for a measly two weeks credit due to THEIR system malfunctioning and throttling my speeds by mistake. I was told a big NO numerous times.Another question I have is, how many senior citizens are being taken advantage of when this happens? I didn't call right away, since I figured my phone has too many apps, or cookies or whatnot. I cleaned up my phone and it made no difference. That's when I realized that maybe the problem is on CCs side. I work fulltime sometimes overtime, and I don't have the time to double check my carrier's equipment. Their IT ***** should be on top of that and have some type of monitoring system in place when a malfunction happens. Most reputable businesses do.So I have decided to change carriers this week, and will let my friends and relatives know to stay away from this company.

      Consumer cellular and tge 20 people I have talked to are incompetent. For a week they have told me they would move my service from ***** Today tgey shut my phone service down. They told me to go to ******* and get a new sim card. I drove 30 miles with my 94 year old mother to *******. They said they dont do business with Consumer Cellular. I called back, that rep told me to go to target. I drove another 30 miles to Target and spent an hour on the phone with Consumer Cellular trying to get tge phone activated. My 94 year old mother waited in the car for the hour it took Consumer cellular to get the phone reactivated. What bumbling incompetents I may move to ******** Consumer Cellular is terrible. .
