      I called this company because we received mail saying that for 11 months my dad would 0nly pay $10 THEN IT WOULD BE $15 and they asked for the **** # on the phone so I gave it to them they told me hIS phone was compatable so we canceled his *************** and switched over to consumers however the phone was not compatible like they said my only 2 options were for him to buy a phone through them of course or go to another companySo either way he was going to have to pay more money they were not honest and upfront about that in order to go back to his old company he now gets charged An activation fee These people take advantage of the elderly I'm very disgusted

      The first phone was not operating. I called Consumer Cellular **************** (CCC/S).They had me "Jump Through Hoops" ******* ********** to (>>) go to Target (2 Hrs) - no resolution, >> Call CCC/S, J/Hs, CCC/S determine Phone was defective. Choose a different Phone (Higher Price). New Phone came in, not operating, Contact CCC/S >> Target, Phone needed several "Up-Grade" Downloads. Phone operated for 3 ~ 4 weeks. Contact CCC/S, J/Hs, >> to purchase "Charging Box" from Target (Not supplied with Phone) They wanted a "New" Charger other wise - No Help.. At Target with New Charger Box - Not operating.>> CCC/S, J/Hs,>> "Leave on Charger for 24 Hrs. next day-CCC/S, J/Hs. CCC/S determined Phone was defective. CCC/S >> ******* ***************** Claim Rejected (Phone was under Warranty). CCC/S, J/Hs, CCC/S contacted ******* - Replaced with New Phone. New Phone not operating. CCC/***/Hs, (2 Hrs) determined "Incorrect SIM Card". CCC/S corrected their PC Input, Phone operated.>> Target for "Up-Grade" Downloads.- Phone operates properly. Few days later (28 Oct), a New Phone from CC arrives. CCC/S - Unable to help, will call back with an answer. 14 Nov. finds CC has debited the Bank Acct. for $228.53. CCC/S (2 Hrs giving "History" several "Hold"s) - The Charges were due to the New Phone has not been Received by CC - Will Call back within 24 Hrs and will send to E-Mail with Return Slip. 17 Nov. No Call Back/E-Mail/Return Slip. CCC/S (1.5 Hrs giving "History" several "Hold"s) - Will call back within 2 Hrs. 2hrs,45m later - No Call/E-Mail/Return Slip. CC Chat Line (give "History" and seek "Alternative" Solution - Will have a Supervisor call within 24 Hours. A reasonable resolution would to restore the costs of the Phone immediately and send a Return Label. otherwise it looks as though Consumer Cellular has "Hi-jacked" Funds from my Bank and is not doing the proper action to rectify their error.

      Don't really help get phone fixed even though rated #1 in costumer support.Been dealing with a issue for over a month and don't feel they are listening to **** jumped thru there many help ideas but still issue arises and then no help. My personal review is about a 2*

      Worst customer service ever. The on/off button failed, because of a very small scratch (considered damage) would not honor 1 year factory warranty after on 3 months. ************ *****. Run, run, run.

      I wouldn't even rate them a one star, but had to, to leave my review. I just got off the phone with consumer cellulars sales department and customer service department. Talk about the WORST EXPERIENCE, i've ever had with a cellular company. They talk over the customer while speaking #1 , Then their attitude's were attroshish. Very disrespectful of a customers questions. It's like your dealing with young kid's that don't wanna listen, and just run on with their mouth's. I mean really, they've turned me off so much, that I ended up hanging up on them. Not a way to get new customers if you ask me. I won't be purchasing service from them ever. And I would feel highly sorry with those that ever do. I can see why they deal with seniors more, because they can probably just take advantage of them. Consumer Cellular isn't what they claim on television advertisement what so ever.

      We decided to switch companies because we're late one time in 5 years and had unlocked phones when I told them I switched companies and tried to activate the phones and they locked them and the phones are paid off.the reason we switched is because they said since we were late and they turned off our phones that if we paid the bill we would not get our warranties back or insurance on the phones.so I told them send me my final bill and I wouldnt be using their service no more.they locked our paid off phones and won't unlock them

      I ordered 2 sim cards from Consumers cellular and my carrier would not release my phone so we never got to switch to Consumers and I had to cancel and stay with my carrier well I ended up with a bill from Consumer Cellular that I had to pay. I told them I would report to the BBB.

      Have been charged for services not received. They will not only not reimburse the money they are now charging late fees. They have been notified twice and today is third time regarding this issue. Very disappointed and disgusted with how they have handled this. I filed complaint with credit card company who said I have to pay it. Talked with them today and was again promised a refund. This is the second time I have been promised a refund. I would not recommend them to anyone.

      I'm a senior citizen that was wrongly done by consumer cellular! Completely ridiculous situation!I order specifically the IPHONE 14 PRO *** PLUS, and they had shipped out the wrong IPHONE which was an IPHONE 14. The basic one. I had used it for ONE week because I had no other phone to use and no choice. I then called to complain, and then finally they shipped me out the correct IPHONE 14 PRO *** PLUS. I tried to return the other phone that was wrongfully shipped too me which was the iPhone ***************************************** my mailbox with an attached letter saying, "they could not take the phone back because of minor scratches." I called once again to see what that was about, and they will NOT take the phone back!!! I even asked if I could replace the screen so there wouldn't be any "scratches" and then return it and their answer was NO. The lady was very rude and unprofessional. Mind you, I have INSURANCE! I should be able to replace the screen on my own dime with insurance, which is still BS but even if I did, they said NO. I am now stuck with this phone I didn't even want in the first place!!! I DO NOT recommend consumer cellular!!!! They are very awful people too deal with. The lady even said on the phone too me "well maybe you ordered the wrong one if it showed we didn't have the 14 plus in stock" Which was a lie because it absolutely was in stock, and I know **** well I ordered the correct iPhone. This is complete BS and now I have to try and sell this phone I got stuck with and going too loose money trying to sell it anywhere. If I could leave no star, I would. I don't even recommend 1 star for this terrible company.

      I received a phone from Consumer Cellular. I am 63 years old and have had cell phones for years. I had my phone for TWO MONTHS, I went to plug it in one evening and the charger wouldn't seat in the phone. When I contacted the GARBAGE COMPANY I spoke with around six different people and got six different answers. It must be in the training manual because they all said that they understand but that was their only answer. I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor, the woman who answered kept asking what she could do for me, I kept asking for a supervisor. How many times do I have to keep asking the same question. When I FINALLY was allowed to speak with someone who was ALLEGEDLY IN CHARGE, I explained the problem, and was told that the problem was of my doing. Nobody even wanted to see the phone, IT WAS JUST CONSIDERED TO BE MY FAULT. I know how to plug in and charge a phone. Maybe if they received better QUALITY PHONES this WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. I have dealt with many cell phone companies BUT THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. How they get away with this is ABSOLUTELY MIND BOGGLING TO ME. Supposedly according to their commercials they are number 1. They will end up getting their money from me I am sure of it because I don't have the money or the means to fight it. How are companies like this getting away with this, is it because they have the money to S**** PEOPLE OVER. SO DISGUSTED WITH THEM THAT EVERYWHERE I GO I AM GOING TO WARN PEOPLE AGAINST USING THEIR SERVICE.I doubt I will get anywhere by posting this, Hopefully I can STOP OTHERS FROM GETTING SCREWED. If there was a NEGATIVE STAR ? I WOULD LEAVE THAT
