I have made a payment to my car note and scheduled a payment next week. But this business is harassing me by calling me almost 3 times a day/everyday. It is getting out of hand. I asked to speak to a manager multiple times but kept getting the run around.Business Response

I'm made a car note that came out of my account on 09/22/22 but instead of just one car note coming out of my account, two did. I called flagship to verify if they had received two car notes and they said no, so I then called my bank (***** *****) to get everything taken care of. I was told by the bank that I had autopay flagship and Bill pay through them, I then made sure to cancel the bill pay but keeping the other. Flagship keeps calling saying I owe them this payment even after I have sent multiple copies of my bank statement since September. No one will call back, I was even told by one of the reps that they had notes in my account that made know since, that they had really messed up my account. They last rep I sent my bank statement to was supposed to be a supervisor named Daryl T****** and he also said that he would reach back out to me but haven't.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I already paid to have the title corrected. I was told my ****** that I would receive the money back that I paid to have the title corrected. I have not been refunded as of yer. I've also incurred a charge of $134 from **** ******* due to the title being incorrect. I am rejecting this response because: I sent a detailed email to the email address that you provided in the letter. This small issue had been a huge inconvenience and financial burden to me. I've paid over $1000 in interest because my interest rate increased since August due to the title not being filed properly. I am not happy at all

I just emailed the attached statement that shows the increase in interest that was paid due to the title error. My interest rate went from roughly 8% to roughly 18% so most of the payments that I made went towards interest only.

I purchased a car back in 2016 and it was financed through *********************** A year later FlagShip bought out ****** and I have had nothing but problems with them since. I currently am on disability and needed to them to lower payments, which they refused to do. Fast forward to April of this year. They offered me a settlement amount of $3, 000 if I could pay $1000 a month for three months. I advised them I couldn't do this, then they came back with a $6,000 settlement offer to be paid through Feb of 2023. This was not helping my situation in anyway. I've talked to them several times. In September they agreed I would pay $600 in Oct, and a settlement of $3600 on Nov. 1st. Which iI did! However, they reported to all 3 credit agencies that I was 30 days behind, then 60 days behind. I actually paid the car off in full on Oct. 16th. I called last week to find out where my title was, and they advised me I needed to wait a few more days to get it. My credit dinged 48 points last week, and another 52 points yesterday because they reported me as not paying. I called them today, and spoke with *********************** who advised me she was "unaware" that the car was paid off, and that she would update the account to reflect it was paid. I then asked her to contact the 3 credit bureaus to get these removed from my credit. She claimed she would see what she could do from her supervisor **************. I have been told so many stories with this company it's insane. They will not offer a resolution and every time you talk to someone else you get a different story. I have worked REALLY hard to get my credit in a good place to be able to buy a home, and over the last few days it's gone down over 100 points! I want them to remove both the most current 30 day and 60 day late payments off my credit. I have contacted each credit bureau as well and filed a dispute for this!Business Response

Flagship Acceptance and myself entered into a settlement agreement to pay off my vehicle in the amount of $14,448.02 on July 9, 2020 and valid until July 24, 2020. Upon receipt of this payment (which was paid in full on 7/22/2020), Flagship agreed to release liability and forward the title to my vehicle. After a few months of the account being paid off, I made several calls to customer service inquiring about the title. All representatives made promise to resolve my issue. To date, I still do not have the title to my car nor a lien satisfied form for the DMV. I am unable to reach a live agent from all of the listed phone numbers for this business without an account number. It appears my account number and social are no longer recognized. As a last resort I sent a few emails to this business with a copy of our settlement agreement and a lien satisfied form and have gotten no responses nor a read receipt. I am unable to sell or transfer title of my vehicle without the pink slip and each year the vehicle is losing value. Flagship Acceptance has breached our contract and I have no idea how to resolve this given I can not contact a single representative in this organization. Please help!Business Response

In June of 2022 I asked this finance company, Flagship, to come and repossess my car as a voluntary surrender. As of November 2, 2022 they still have not came and repossessed the car. They are still charging me interest and refuse to close the account. I believe that they are doing this on purpose so that I can owe them more money. It does not take six months to repossess a vehicle.Business Response

On August 30, Flagship Credit Acceptance received in full the payoff check for my 2016 ****** ******. I am due $133 for overpayment, but have yet to receive it. I have contacted Flagship numerous times regarding my check. The 1st time they sent it, they tried to deliver it to the wrong address. They have had my correct address since May 2021 when I moved. It is even updated on my old account with them. I called and gave the correct address. Waited another 2 weeks since I hadn't received anything. The "CSR" I spoke to previously never updated my address and never requested a stop payment on the returned check to re-issue a new one. They finally mailed a check via USPS that required a signature. I work during the day and was not home to sign for it. Not sure why they sent it that way when the 1st one was sent via ***** My last phone call to them was on 10/24/2022 and I was told they would re-issue a new check. I talked to a "Supervisor" who took down my address and phone number and was told she would call me back. I have yet to hear back from anyone and I still have not received my check. I know it's not a big amount of money, but it is still due to me.Business Response

I have a car financed through Flagship Financial. I have been trying to renew my registration, but the company had an address change last year and NJ DMV flagged my account until the company sends in their updated address on the company letterhead. I called them in September to request the fax to DMV and was told it was completed. That was not true!!! They sent nothing and my registration expired. I have made September and October 2022 payments, but have not been able to drive my car. When you call, they give the run and around and will not allow you to talk to the title department. I paid them now for 2 months which upheld my part of the contract. They have not changed their address on my title and I cannot renew my registration until they do, causing my car to be parked. I am paying insurance on my vehicle $176 month, a car payment $306 plus $5 handling fee and I cannot drive my car. I am a disabled veteran and cannot get to my medical appointments without my car. I feel they breeched our contract for the past 2 months and I want $622 plus 2 months of what I paid for my insurance, $176X2, for breech of contract. I have been on the phone all day and still have not faxed the info to the NJ DMV. All they need to do is update their address on their company letterhead and fax it to the number given to them for the DMV. It still has not been done after speaking directly to the title department supervisor!!! Flagship financial *****************Business Response
