I refinanced my car away from this bank in April 2022, and this company has failed multiple times at releasing the lien on my title. I called them approximately 2 weeks after I paid the car off to confirm my loan was satisfied and to let them know that I needed them to send my bank the title and to also send me a copy. They never sent these requested documents as I stated to them that it is urgent that they send the release. I recently called again on 9/29/22 because I received notice from my bank that my interest rate has increased as a result of them not receiving the lien release. So I called Flagship Credit Acceptance immediately to let them know that I really needed them to send me the lien release and come today (10/13/22) when I called for an update as to why I haven’t received anything yet, we discovered that they failed to put my apartment number in the system. So now I have to wait another 21-30 days to receive this document that I’ve been requesting since April. This is very much unacceptable, and now I have a higher car note and interest rate because they failed miserably at doing their job.Business Response

I paid my car off in August of this year and I have been waiting for my gap refund check. So I called the dealership and they sent the check to these people who are telling me it could take up to 90 days for me to receive my money. How can a business cash a check made out to someone that doesn't even have an account with them? Don't you think that check should have been sent back to the dealership? The dealership said that the check has already been cashed so why would it take three months to get my money. Their employee Johnathan ID *** was not a big help for being a supervisor telling me to send him prove that the account has been paid in full. Um... Look in your system and you will see that almost $51,000 was cash by flagship and that the account is closed. I also believe they ripped me off with my overpayment check that they did send me for more than $500. They are crooks and I personally will never recommend them.Business Response

I requested a two- month extension on my car payment and was only granted a one-month extension. This is not the first time that this company screwed me over with my two-month extension request. This has happened a few other times in he past. In fact, my nephew had this happened to him a few times as well and I am quite certain there are a great number of customers that are experiencing this exact issue. That is why I have been recording the calls when requesting the two-month extension. I requested the two-month extension because I had fallen behind on other bills due to two different unexpected car repairs.Business Response

Good Morning! I hope you can help me on this matter. I can't get a response on my account from Flagship Credit Acceptance, When I look at my account online it shows as blocked? I have paid my September bill on time. I called and spoke to customer service on Monday September 17th, about this matter and she said that my loan has expired, and that i have made all my payments. Customer service then said that she will send my account to the audit department, because they didn't know why I still owe $400.00. Ever since then I have received calls everyday telling me I'm pasted due on my account. Can someone please tell me what I can do to get this matter corrected and get my Title? Thank you,***********************Business Response

Good Morning,I recently paid off my vehicle with Flagship Credit Acceptance and they have refused to allow me to speak with anyone regarding obtain my letter of payment. I called after the vehicle was paid off on the 7th from what their website states and they told me that on their side it is listed as of the 8th. I said ok either is fine but can I have a payoff letter. I need this letter to cancel the Gap Policy through the dealership. They stated I had to wait 10 days and they will email it to me. I waited until the 27th and called and the women said she sees the note to send it in 10 days but it was never done. She requested it again and said it would take no more then 48 hours. But, most likely would have either by the end of today (Tuesday or Wednesday). This did not happened. I called again today and the lady refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor/manager and said I will need to wait an additional 72 hours. All I want is this letter and to be done with this awful company. I paid my vehicle on time and actually paid this vehicle off 4 years early. I just want my payoff letter so I can move on from this awful experience.Business Response

I made a payment on June 25th. The company told me that the payment was returned due to not having the funds available. However, my bank shows that while I did not have the funds available at the time, they did pay the payment and the money was never returned back to me. I have provided the company with bank statements from the bank showing that the funds did not get returned. I have been calling and waiting for a response for over 4 months but I can never get a phone call back. All they keep doing is sending emails and filing a complaint. Due to them not correcting the problem, they have been reporting for 4 months that my payment is late to the credit bureau and have caused my credit score to drop over 100 points.Business Response

I have been making payments to catch up my car payment and every time I pay what they ask me to pay is still shows up on my credit report as past due balance. I paid the past due balance and made another car payment and it is still showing that I am past due. When I call into the company and ask someone to go over my account with me, they tell me that I am not past due and that I do not have anything showing past due yet they report to the credit bureaus that I am making late payments. When I asked to speak to someone in the credit department they told me that they could not do that and that I would need to write a letter and send it in. It’s very unfair to make payments of what they ask and they still report you as late. When you log into the customer portal, the amounts don’t match what they tell you and they will not work with you to make sure it updates! I’d like for them to remove all the late payments on all the credit bureaus and apologize for putting us through all the stress! I e added attachments showing where they’ve said I owed and paid more than that yet it still shows I’m past due!Business Response

They have been ripping me off, when I bought the vehicle they told me I could prorate my payments to pay on the 1st. I am a disabled vet that's when I get my check, only yo find out without my knowledge they are charging me an extra 40 dollars every month. This company is very sneaky and should not be able to mislead people the way they do.Business Response

I make my car payment every month, and each time i go into my account its more than what is actually due. It shows that i owe 2 months, when in fact its not. I am not a month behind, i have contacted the company, and it still has not been rectified. Last month, i made a payment; and on their history it shows a less amount paid, then what came out of my bank account. I made a payment this morning (9/9/22) and it still shows another payment, and the company refuses to fix it. This is being reported to my credit report as being 30 days or more late, when in fact it is not.Business Response
