Website will not allow me to make a payment, says I have exceeded transactions. I paid exactly two weeks ago with no issue. **************** wants me to pay by phone which I do not do. She then said "I don't know what to tell you, have a good day" and ended the call. This company has been rude from the start. Called me initially and would not identify the debt in question. I continued to ask what they were "collecting for" he would not answer and only told me he'd send it to my credit reporting agency. I told him I would be glad to talk to him if he would just tell me what and who he was calling ********* am I supposed to pay off my debt with a company that is rude and has an "I don't know attitude"?Business Response

This business was unprofessional and and did not achieve its goal of conveying a debt to me. They called with minimal information from multiple numbers and sounded like a scam call. There was never a person associated with the call, just a call back number and automated voice. If you don't tell me about a debt during the call, then how am I to know if the call is real or fraudulent? They also failed to send any correspondence in the mail and only relied on telephone communication which is typical amongst phishing strategies by scammers foreign and domestic. Now I have a credit derogatory **** with them and I can't even find information on what the debt is. It doesn't help that when they called me, my phone ****ed them as potential spam and blocked their various numbers. I want correspondence by mail because I like paper trails. It's the way I was taught. I plan to dispute this on my credit, because I still feel it to be fraudulent, but I wanted to create this complaint as well because this level of shady business should not be tolerated. If they truly are a business that conducts professional debt collection, then they need to operate as such. Not a phone call and voicemail that says, "hello, this is credit management company. Please call us back at (insert number)." That's not how you convey a message that a debt is needing to be collected. That is how you get people to assume you're a spam caller.Business Response

Removal of medical debt that appears on my credit report, in accordance with updated reporting rules effective March 2025.??The ************************************ (****) has issued guidance that medical debts should no longer be included in consumer credit reports. This change reflects the evolving understanding that medical debt is not a reliable indicator of creditworthiness.??Business Response

I recently received a notification from Experian that a collection account from ******************************************* was added to my credit report. Until that moment, I had no knowledge of this debt. After contacting Collection Management directly, I spoke with a representativewhose name I unfortunately did not obtainwho informed me that they had attempted to contact me multiple times since March 6, 2025. However, I have not received any phone calls from them, and the representative acknowledged that no voicemails were ever left. He also claimed that notices were mailed to me over the past few months, but I check my mail daily and have never received any such correspondence. This alleged debt dates back to March or April of 2023. At that time, I was employed by ***** Ground Shipment at ****************************************************************. I sustained a workplace injury and was sent to *************** for evaluation. Following that appointment, I was in regular communication with ***************, ***** Human Resources, and ***************** Company over a 4-to-6-week period to ensure the claim was handled. I was later informed by ********************* that the claim had been fully resolved and paid by their insurance provider. I have received no further communication from any party regarding this matter since that time.I am formally disputing the validity of this collection entry. I have never received any verifiable communication from Collection Management via phone or mail, and based on the information above, I believe this claim to be inaccurate. I request that you investigate this matter and provide documented proof of the debt and of all attempted communications. If this cannot be substantiated, I respectfully request that this entry be removed from my credit report in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.Sincerely,**** A *****Business Response

I received a bill from a collection agency on 3/17/25 for amount $1,168 for a DOS of 7/7/2023. There has never been a a bill received or any type of communication made to make me aware of this bill. I learned it is for an ER visit. Per CMC the collection agency, the bill is for the physician as that office was not in network for my insurance. I did some investigating to find out who is owed the money and why I have not been made aware of this bill before now. What I found was that the original creditor APP Of Tennessee ** PLLC has since permanently closed. I never received a bill from them. ******************** was who I was directed to at that point. They advised me they didn't have any info and I would have to speak to ***. My issue is that this bill was turned over to a collection agency with 0 efforts being made by APP, *******, or CMC to make me aware of this bill ever existing until the received letter on 3/17/25 almost 2 years after DOS. I disputed the bill with *** and request that they send me an itemized statement. I did not receive that letter within the 30 days timely manner. And once received it was not an itemized statement. It only listed the creditor, the **** and the amount due. The collector was aggressive and would continue to speak over me when I was trying to speak to him. Once the collector understood that I was not in agreeance with him and we was not going to settle this on that call he said goodbye and hung the phone up. His collection efforts wore aggressive with poor phone manners. I dont feel that DUE DILIGENCE was made by any of the afore mentioned companies to make me aware of this bill. Never a letter or phone call. Not until it was reported to my credit via a collection agency. I 22 years old and try my best to keep my credit good and pay my bills. But, I am unable to make that happen when I am not made aware of it. Three different companies denied me the due diligence and I shouldn't be punished for APP closing.Business Response

I pulled my lexisnexis consumer report around March of 2025, on it I realized there were 3 collections with the name of credit management company. I have no unpaid debts and have received no mail or phone calls from any collection agency. I would never have known of this had I not looked at my consumer report. I have tried to call credit management company 5-10 times and Im redirected by the representatives for a ************ number to an ************ number where they ask for information and are unable to provide that i have an account with them through my. Name and address. I would like to know if there is record of an account with this business, and if so who the original debt was supposedly owed to. And I would like proof sent to me if there is no debt, so I can then forward it to lexisnexis to have the collections removed from my consumer profile.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.i received an email from a **** ****** of credit management company stating that I would be receiving a recipe in the mail from an original creditor, but Ive been told multiple time on the phone that their isnt any collections under my social security number. I believe the buisness has gotten the wrong ***** ********. I want this to be resolved and I want a clear answer to if I have any collections under my ssn or not.

as I stated in the last rejection to the complaint. I received an email, stating that credit management company had located an account under the name ***** ******** and that they would be sending things in the mail to my address. I have called ************ several times and they have confirmed there are no accounts under my birthdate or social security number. This email is a mistake on the businesses part as I have no accounts with this buisness. I filed this complaint because these collections from this company showed on my lexisnexis report under hard inquiries, but upon checking with credit management company at ************ I have to open accounts with this ********************** and I would like my lexisnexis report to reflect that. I have filed an official complaint with ********** over this. But I wanted to let credit management company know that I have no accounts with them under my information and this is a mistake on their part and I have tried taking the steps to get this removed from my lexisnexis file as it isnt mine.

From my Equifax credit report, I have a new collection account (Account Number: *0351*) from **********************, in the amount of $1,824 with a date of 1st Delinquency 01/21/2019. A prior Better Business Bureau (BBB) inquiry on February 02, 2024 (Complaint Number: ********), I was notified from the previously mentioned collection agency, CREDIT MANAGEMENT COMPANY, that the collection account was settled and would be closed/removed - which it was. However, the collection account now has returned.Business Response
