Myself and many others are receiving voicemails from a **** ******** from credit management company wanting us to call back at ************.. I have a feeling this is a scam and maybe that number is no longer used by the original company that first used it. I would like to hear from the real Credit management company in regards to whether they use that number anymore or if it has been taken over by scammers.

I have written you a dispute for an account you are reporting on my credit report twice. It has not been removed nor have I gotten a response. I understand that I can seek damages for a serious error like this and already found several ***** attorneys willing to help. However - I wish to just have it removed from my credit report instead. The account is for Lagrange Emergency Physican in the amount of $935, reporting not once, but twice under Equifax. Please notify the credit bureaus to have this removed from my credit report to save us both a lot of time and headaches.

    Official debt verification request:
“You have 30 days to comply or suffer immediate punishment under 15 USC
    1692g(a)(4) and 15 USC 1692g(b).”
Your agency has broken the law on 2 separate occasions and, in this letter, I am going
to prove it. Because of your company's complete disregard of the law, I have lost my
ability to use my credit and get embarrassed daily. I am too embarrassed to step foot in
a bank to avoid the disgusting reaction the teller gives me when they see my credit
report. I am ashamed and appalled of my credit and never received a fair opportunity to
dispute this account. And for this reason, you are in serious legal trouble. Let me
    explain…
You committed 2 violations which will cost you a ginormous amount of money. First, you
did not send me a dunning letter within 5 days of reporting this account on my credit.
(Never giving me my fair shot to dispute the debt.) Which, if I had, this account would
never have been on my credit report in the first place. Therefore, under 15 USC 1692g,
I would like to request 2 specific documents that you are required to deliver to me within
    30 days:
Request 1: Proof that a dunning letter was sent within 5 days of this account getting
placed on my credit report. (Proof can be a receipt by certified mail or internal receipt if
you use an automated mailing service to my address.) And…
Request 2: Debt verification. You have 30 days to turn in debt verification according to
15 USC 1692g(a)(4) or you will forfeit your right to collect. Furthermore, debt verification
has a very specific meaning under the FDCPA. According to the FDCPA, verification
must be a sworn declaration from the original creditor. Or someone who has
first-hand knowledge of these transactions, which, you obviously don’t since you’re a
    third party.
That being said, unless you can produce an affidavit signed by the original creditor,
you will fail to meet the legal requirements of verification. Thus, losing the right to collect
the debt under 15 USC 1692g(b). A breach of this law is instantly punishable for
statutory and actual damages which I intend to collect if you ignore my demand.
Also, to be clear, DEBT VERIFICATION IS NOT:
A billing statement or a contract.
If you submit those documents and claim its verification you will be liable for false and
deceptive practices under 15 USC 1692e(10). Therefore, for a document to be “valid
verification” it must be sworn under oath, by the witness of a notary. So don’t even
think about tricking or misleading me. I am well aware of the law and intend to use it
against you if I have to…
Until the 2 items I requested are submitted (a dunning letter and debt verification), I
demand you cease and desist all collection action. Collection action includes reporting
the debt on my credit report, according to the following court case: Edeh v. Midland
Credit Mgmt., 748 F. Supp. 2d 1030. Thus, according to this case law, you are legally
not allowed to report this account on my credit report until the requested documentation
is presented and sworn under the presence of a notary.
Please review the court case so you can see why 2
    nd hand information from a
creditor is not verification and will make you eligible for immediate punishment.
    That being said…
    You have 2 options
You have 30 days to produce the requested information… or… delete this account from
my credit report. If you delete the account, I will drop my claim. If you refuse, I intend to
    act immediately.
P.S. Please read this letter carefully and take into consideration the facts that I just
established. I am not a fool or an average consumer. I have spent a significant amount
of time building an incredible armory of court cases that I plan to use against you. On
the other hand, I am a reasonable person who, although has been mentally destroyed,
is completely willing to drop my claim as long as you delete this account. I’m sure you
    will make the right decision.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I want all communications submitted through BBB portal. So we have a communication trail that proves compliance with the FDCPA. And to prevent me from suffering anymore from your deceptive tactics. I just needed 2 documents (as stated in my letter). Failure to provide those will have legal consequences which I am determined to pursue. If you want to settle this quietly and free of financial distress on your end, REMOVE the account.

I am writing in regard to the debt you claim I owe in the amount of $898. At this time, I do not believe I am responsible for this obligation. In fact, this $898 alleged debt was posted to my credit karma twice for the exact same amounts. Now, only one remains. I am respectfully requesting that you provide verifiable proof of this debt. More precisely, I am requesting the original signed agreement or contract that establishes the validity of this debt. Please provide any and all documentation that clearly demonstrates my legal obligation. I would appreciate to receive this via certified mail. I look forward to your prompt response to quickly and efficiently resolve this matter. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
